very very very bad experience

very very very bad experience, they sent a defective product that required a lot of time for installation and at the last step we test the product according to the manual, it turns out that it does not work at all. Woot expect us to disassemble the product for refund otherwise they just give out $25 refund for a useless product???? THINK BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!

They refuse to refund! Even though I sent it back. I have receipts! Even when I bought it, it was missing parts & was completely useless! This was from August 2025 when I ordered it until I gave up from their undeliverable email October 2025!!!

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company! I thought that since they were part of Amazon, I could trust them. I ordered a robo/vac combo from there and it came nasty with hair in the rollers and not clean. Item also did not work. After emailing customer service about this, Woot contacted me and sent a replacement. This one last about 30 minutes and died on me. Guess I will report back to the credit card company so I can get my money back

Difficult to resolve a defective item

If you order an item, and there is a problem, such as it doesn’t work when you plug it in you basically have difficulty in getting it resolved
You can only contact them by email and hopefully they will get back to you. You taking a chance with woot (it is a AMAZON company but AMAZON treats woot totally different).
I purchased a wall charger for my phones, a dual pack and one didn’t work. It was an Amazon basics and I called amazon and they said you have to talk to Woot .They gave me a telephone number. It didn’t work.
I would avoid in the future

DO NOT BUY FROM WOOT

Bought 2 TVs. Saw the association with Amazon. Felt ok to make a purchase. There is no customer service avenue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you respond to any email correspondence, you get a "no reply" response. There is no customer service phone number. If you call Amazon, who by the way has WOOT as part of it's website, the Amazon people act like they don't want to touch it with a 10 ft pole. I am starting to feel scammed by Amazon, the owner of WOOT. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!!! Amazon dropped the ball and its customers are paying the price. In my case, over $2500.

Defective item and very slow refund process,

Another Amazon Prime member that makes the occasional purchase on Woot. I recently purchased a discounted Pool Vacuum but the item delivered was used, missing parts and defective. Lost $ 68.00 X-Box Game Pass Codes

Lost $68.00 - Bought X-Box Game Pass Cards that ended up being unusable. Woot sent me codes for another geographic region that can't be redeemed in the United States. Of course, I reached out to support for which they responded:

"We are sorry to hear about the trouble you have had redeeming your Xbox code(s). As noted at the time of sale, once you receive your download code via e-mail as the tracking number, no refund will be issued. If you continue having trouble redeeming your code, please respond with screenshots of the errors you are receiving as well as all steps already attempted. We will try to assist further at that time pending the issue you are encountering.

Nightmare company - AVOID

Nightmare company. I ordered two head units for cars (cheap but decent). After the first one had delayed shipping I made the stupid mistake of thinking maybe a different model would ship faster. Long story short Woot refused to cancel my orders, and as of today they still haven’t shipped. Mind you my order was placed 6/4 (it’s been over a month).

Their excuse was they can’t ship to my address with UPS.. despite the fact Amazon delivers to the same address all the time via UPS. I can’t tell if it’s a scam or what, I ended up having to charge back both transactions with American Express, the last I heard from woot customer service (if you can call it that) is over two weeks ago despite multiple recent attempts on my end.

I strongly suggest you avoid Woot.com, the
majority of their deals aren’t really deals anyway. They either sell hyped up trash or nice stuff but at a minimal deal (eBay is usually better).

I’ve never had an issue with customer service giving me a refund for the defective item. But damn please make sure the shit work before sending it stop wasting people money and time.

I wanted to give WOOT zero stars

If I could give WOOT a zero star, I would. I had the misfortune of owning a product that WOOT sells. It is a battery operated water tester, which appears with a photo on their website. It appeared that possibly the only way to change the batteries was to destroy the rubber feet that were hiding screws underneath. Before I attempted to do this I wanted to verify with customer service that this was the only way to change the batteries. I sent numerous emails to their customer service and support which were always replied with a form letter that had nothing to do with my query. After several times explaining the situation, I finally got a response that said they couldn’t help me unless I sent them an invoice proving I own the product. After several more emails I finally got a response that said to send them a link to their product on their website so that they knew what product I was talking about. I did send a link and that’s the last I heard from them. WOOT is probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. This all happened between mid-May and beginning of June 2025.

be careful with warranties

I bought an owala mug from woot in October. I had it 5 months before the button that keeps the cover shut broke. I e-mailed owala to enquire about a replacement but was told that because I bought it off woot, which is not an authorized retailer, they would not send a replacement. I then e-mailed woot to see if they can do anything about it but I was told that because it is past their 30 day policy there is nothing they can do. I did not realize my mug would not be covered under owala's warranty because I bought it from woot but I learned a lesson. I will no longer be buying anything from woot which is a shame because I bought items from them frequently. I thought this review might help other buyers before they make the mistake I made.

Woot sells items that it does not have.

Multiple times I have placed orders because of price and after waiting for weeks for the shipment to arrive, Woot will cancel the order because they no longer have the item. I have quit wasting my time regardless of the price. I'm beginning to believe that this is intentionally deceptive and Woot is keeping countless peoples money for weeks at a time in order to receive a short term interest free loan that they are earning interest on. Will be reporting to the FTC.
