Very disappointed when I first tried on 3 days after opening. Gave them another try. The prices although only 10 pence are still incorrect. Sounds petty but it's illegal under UK advertising law. The... See more

Frozen doughnuts!!!

On the 27th August 2023 I visited the Union St Torquay branch to purchase doughnuts! Whilst choosing I was told several of the flavours were ‘still frozen’ whilst clearly still being on display,I was then advised which were ‘defrosted’!!! I should have know better but I continued with my purchase of 1 X Homer,2 x Jamie dodger and 1 x biscoff at a cost of £10!!!! Later that day we tried them only to find the biscoff & jammie dodger ones were dry and stale, quite revolting & ended up in the bin!!! I immediately completed a ‘contact us form’ to advise of my dismay & to ask where their ‘previously frozen’ policy was displayed?! It said you would hear within 3 days..it’s been a lot longer but heard nothing,I’ve also emailed head office using the ‘ceo addtesss’ given online but again nothing!!! Shocking customer service AND doughnuts

How hard is it to make a cup of tea?

How hard is it to make a cup of tea, and put a decent amount of milk in it so it's not just scalding over-stewed water? Clearly beyond the disinterested staff at Gatwick (North) and when I tried to ask for more, they all stood around at the back of the serving area pretending they couldn't hear me until I gave up.

What a total car crash!

What a total car crash!! Warren’s bakery at north terminal Gatwick airport. Fresh food. Come on! Ordered coffee and tea bacon roll and cheese and ham toastie. Fresh. ? Come on. Nothing fresh from what I received. Ordering system totally out of the windows. Waited 20 minutes for bacon roll after reminding staff twice!. Turned up finally cold in the middle. Really! £20 for the so called experience. Warren’s bakery. Have a look and get a grip.. here’s me thinking easyJet are bad with the food they offer..

Just bought four donuts for £10

Just bought four donuts for £10, 2 chocolate and 2 with sprinkles and I’m so disappointed they look lovely but they are the most stale donuts I have ever had. Tried to ring the Paignton shop to complain but they never picked up the phone. Won’t be buying from there again.

False vegan claim and terrible customer care

I have found customer care at Warrens to be non-existent, both at branch level and higher. I visited Warrens last weekend. I asked the manager if she had any vegan pasties. She said yes, that the Cauliflower Cheese pasty was vegan. I asked if she was sure it was vegan as it had the word 'cheese' in the title and not the word 'vegan'. She said yes she was absolutely sure it was vegan - it must be vegan cheese. I questioned this again as it was marked vegetarian. She replied in a way that seemed irritated "Yes I am 100 per cent sure! It is a new product and I assure you it is completely fine for vegans! It is obviously vegan cheese...do you want the ingredients?" She was claiming to be 100% per cent sure so I said "Okay I believe you". Only after I had eaten it I discovered the ingredients had been printed on my friend's receipt - it contains milk and cheese and is not suitable. When I approached the manager about this she first suggested it could still be vegan cheese, then when she checked her ingredients book she just said that she had been to the launch of that product and that is what they had been told. I told her I was really upset to have eaten it - and that if I'd been someone with an allergy I could be ill now or worse. She just repeated "well that's what I was told" There was no customer care - I wasn't even offered an apology or a refund. I emailed the company afterwards but there has been no acknowledgement or response.

TERRIBLE Service & food (baguette)

Service &food quality were terrible.

When ordering the lady didn't let me finish my order as she was already off making my coffee. Low costumer service but more on "who's next"
My tuna mayo baguette was extra dry, looked it was made yesterday if not before. Hardly any tuna in the sandwich. So, I return it to the counter and explain... again she didn't let me finish nd just ask me "would you like another one?" Not interested soever. The 2nd sandwich, the baguette was cold and soft, again there was no tuna at the top & bottom part of the sandwich.
Just TERRIBLE!

Dreadful company

Dreadful company, they do not answer telephone calls or emails, they are aware of the terrible service as they say on their website not expect an answer very soon. Was given a gift voucher, sadly a big mistake and total waste of money would have been better giving money to a charity rather than this company

Cornish Cream Tea 🤮🤮

I had an cream tea bought for my Birthday and sent in the post. What a massive mistake!! £38 including postage what a joke. When the pack arrived the 2 traditional pasties had mold all over them the only thing they were good for was the bin. The two scones were also out of date by 5 days. The packet was split so the scones were dry and hard again only fit for the bin. This is totally unaceptable and i can only describe this as a rip off. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE 👎👎👎👎
