Always take my T5 Van to Volksmaster. Highly recommended

I had an engine management light on my 2016 VW Touareg,So I plugged in my code reader in it came up with a exhaust oxygen censor , So I booked in to Voksmaster in Heywood they told me they needed to put my car on thier diagnostic machine at a cost of £60 this I accepted approximately 1 hour later I was informed their diagnostic machine had confirmed the same problem however they would need to make further investigations so the following day the 23/12/2025 I returned my Touareg 3 hours later I returned and was issued with a bill for a further £346.50 only to be informed that my car needed a new exhaust system at an estimated cost of £4.413.78p UNBELIEVABLE not the price of the exhaust BUT the £406.50p to be told the Touareg needed a full exhaust!!, (also the DPF had been replaced 2 weeks prior to me visiting Heywood Volksmaster , Seems to me it took longer to do the estimate than to do the inspection!. I was then informed that the parts would take approximately 10 working days to be delivered and that it was necessary I paid the part’s upfront. Yours dissatisfied M Barber.

Very good experience. Audi service at a fraction of the cost and the exact same as taking it to the dealership. Kept me up to date all the time will definately use them again.

Volksmaster Bury are my go to garage and have been for a good while now. Always provide a great level of service and nothing is too much bother, highly recommended.

I normally take my cars to the dealers but after going to Heywood Volksmaster I won’t be going anywhere else.

*UPDATE*

I hate to change my review to a 1 star however I really need to share this feedback. I recently noticed in the last few days a rattling noise coming from somewhere inside the engine bay. Luckily, I work for a car dealership so I was able to get the techs there to have a look for me. What they found was really quite shocking. There was several screws missing from the under tray, and the ones that were still there were loose and had not been re-fitted properly. One screw even looks to have even been angle grindered off and has been left in a poor state. Thankfully, my work has fixed it for me for free which was only possible because I work for a dealership. I was initially really happy with your service, however it’s incredibly concerning to find that a “specialist” garage with such good reviews could mess up something so simple so badly. I certainly don’t think I could trust you with any work in the future. I just really hope you pull this up with the technician who performed the work on my car, and whoever signed off on the quality check - if you need my details to help with this, please let me know.

Excellent service from this garage. Took my vehicle in with a number of problems. They established the cause of the problems, updated me and then carried out the work. They kept me well informed throughout.

This garage is the one you find and never leave for anyone else. I've been using volksmaster since getting my first car many years ago and been using them ever since. The family run business brings a homely ambience but with a very professional touch.

As I have done for many years I took my car to Heywood Volksmaster. I travel several miles to use their services but the professionalism and friendliness of the staff make it worthwhile. I am always pleased with the job that they do at a fair and reasonable price.would thoroughly recommend them

Used Oldham Van Centre 179 Hollins for a smart repair. Two colour repair with dent and scrape done brilliantly. All the staff were fantastic and the car came back with a better valet than most main dealers. The price was fantastic and their curtesy cars are also very reasonable should you need one.

I use Volksmaster (Ashton Road (Oldham)) to service my Skoda Octavia. I find the staff very friendly and helpful and they know their stuff and would strongly recommend them.

I have always received service and workmanship of the highest standard from Volksmaster in Bury. I own a Seat Leon and always take this car to Volksmaster for every service and MOT. The workmanship is excellent and communications are of the highest standard. Prior to the Seat, I owned an Audi TT for a few years and always used Volksmaster for that car as well. As long as I own a VW, Audi or Seat car I will be using them with no hesitation. Highly recommended.

Great service and wonderful helpful staff.

I booked my car in for diagnostics and to be told there is £4000 damage, I explained my warranty will cover the damage and all they wanted was proof and the garage wasn't really keen on doing that, I've rang 5 garages and all garages told me its a £2500 max job and even said this garage is known to rip people off, They admitted to charging customers £100 an hour for labour! Even my warranty company said I think they maybe trying to get as much money as possible.

Recently had my car booked in for a EPC fault the guys diagnosed the issue and solved the problem… always great service from the bury branch and I feel I can trust what they advise me, been taking my cars here for over 20 years .
