Brilliant service, amazing, friendly staff and a very knowledgeable and caring vet who put my mind at ease. My cat stopped vomiting and ate as soon as we got home.

They were very helpful, put my mind at rest and treated my pet very well.

Although noone wants to have to use a vet in an emergency rather than a planned trip, the compassion and empathy afforded from the initial call through to arrival and during the consultation on this occasion was exceptional. One lucky cat seems to be on the mend following diagnosis and prescribed treatment.

Vets Now Southampton provided a mixed experience. While the care my pet received was adequate and we were seen fairly quickly, there were serious administrative issues. They sent the wrong details to the wrong person, causing data breaches and delays with insurance claims, which took three months to resolve. The fees are also very high, which feels excessive compared to market rates. That said, the staff were kind and caring during the visit. Overall, the service was okay, but several areas need improvement.

Very expensive. Over £300 just to walk in the door. Yes it was out of hours but totally ridiculous price. When I entered the consultation room I was rather disturbed to find blood drops and patches on the floor! Not what you expect from a medical business.

Your reply does not even address the issues of a dirty consult room! The exam table was not cleaned after I left (the vet walked out before me) and as my dog had tummy issues I hate to think if another patient picked up anything from it!

Efficient, friendly competent service all round

The receptionist was very friendly. The vet was brilliant, so calming for Pablo! She understood me when I said I was autistic and had bipolar as I was a bit stressed. Very expensive but worth every penny.

Very helpful at 3am on a Monday morning with our poorly dog. Some TLC and tablets dog is back to her normal self.

I called the emergency line and explained my concerns. I was booked in immediately and went straight to the vets with my dog who was given top care through the night. The Vet we saw gave her an initial examination and explained what he thought the issue was and promised a call back by midnight. He then rang at just before 11pm to confirm what he’d expected was correct and the next steps. He reassured me that she was stable and could be treated overnight and safe to have an operation the next morning.

I felt comforted and reassured throughout and am grateful for his and the team’s kindness at such a traumatic time for both us as companions and my dog.

vets now really good would recommend using them again. Only down side for a first time did not get told the procedure for a 2nd visit so had to go through the whole phone call a 2nd time. the 2nd vets (different to the 1st) were really helpful, caring and explained what happens when I had to go back the next day.

My cat Luna got her tail caught in the reclining mechanism of my sofa on NYE. Luckily, they were open and took her in. Her tail needed a partial amputation and was sent home with antibiotics and painkillers within 12 hours of her arrival. Unfortunately she isn't insured and it cost over £1900, a lesson learnt

Amazing staff, went above and beyond for our dog. We would have lost him at Christmas if they hadn’t of acted quickly. Thorough and kind and kept me up to date every step of the way. Loki loved them and was settled even after surgery. Lovely staff would 100% recommend.

I had someone to call out of hours. I was so worried about my pup (10 weeks old), not drinking at all, had vomiting and diarrhoea, fading before my eyes.
She had seen my own vet earlier in the day but vomited all meds. Vets Now were welcoming, confident and efficient. They gave something to stop her being sick and checked her over. They all enjoyed giving pup a cuddle. Later she also had fluids IV and other meds at my own vet and is now on the mend. Thanks to all.
