Sole wore through after 4 months
Shoes were smaller than I expected but otherwise seemed fine. Had them for 4 months and the sole has worn so thin that they are unwearable.
I contacted customer service (who responded pretty quick to be fair) who basically told me that the shoes would last longer if I wore them less.
Overall I'm pretty disappointed in the quality. They were very expensive shoes for something that wears out that quickly, and I didn't wear them every day.
I like the ethos of the company but I'm not willing to spend that much on shoes I need to replace every 4 months so I won't be getting another pair.

Okay experience
Shipping didn't take that long and product was in proper condition upon arrival. It wasn't clear to me that fees/duties would be required upon delivery. Maybe I missed it but I notice some websites do a good job of making it really clear so there's no surprises for the customer. Have been looking at the product for a few years so very happy to have it overall.

The shoes are branded as eco-friendly, instead I purchased a pair of sneakers from the Mexico store and they were shipped from France!. Plus, I had to pay a surcharge for import feed that was about 1/3rd the cost of the product.

Absolutely appalling service
Absolutely appalling service. I’ve had a pair of Campos for two months, during which time the sole has started to come away. I raised the issue with Veja, who told me this wasn’t covered by their guarantee and I needed to get them repaired at my cost. Shoes costing this much shouldn’t start to come apart after only a few weeks of normal use!

Poor communication
I placed my order a week ago and not heard anything. No updates on tracking, no emails. I contacted customer support yesterday and got an emails today asking me to rate my experience. Very disappointed so far - I was told delivery would take 2-4 working days.

Something new
Honestly, I purchased these shoes after doing extensive research on brands and their positioning toward social issues like genocide. I’ve been on the market for MONTHS looking for a new white sneaker. I tried Sambas, Pumas, and even revisited Reebok (which was where I bought my last pair). Unfortunately, none of those companies aligned with my values.
I considered offsetting my purchase by donating the same amount to an organization that uplifts communities, but that felt unbalanced—other important areas like ethically sourced materials and fair labor wouldn’t be equally supported. In the end, I decided to invest in a pair of Vejas.
And honestly, I’m HIGHLY impressed with the quality. They’re beautiful. If they last longer than three years, I’ll consider it a solid return on my investment—but only time will tell.

All Around Great Shoe
This was my first online VEJA purchase. The description & details for the shoes I was interested in was easy to navigate. I found the message to order one full shoe size larger than your normal size to be true. I had the benefit of talking to someone who had ordered the VEJA shoes I was interested in and they shared that going up one size larger than normal was important. The shoes are nice looking and very comfortable. Highly recommend.
