Step Teachers has been a great stepping stone for me into education. After doing a level 1 TA course through my local job centre I went to step teachers with little to no experience. They got me supply work and helped me through everything. A year and a half later I've got a full time, permanent role in a local school. I wouldnt of been able to do it without step teachers.

It's great to be able to try out different schools, year groups etc.

I made an application for TA position but due to my limited experience I couldn’t get it but instead of just dropping my CV Step Teachers decided that with my qualifications I will be much suited for another position. They called and discussed this with me, I was genuinely happy. The onboarding process was smooth, strict but very fair and the staffs were very professional, responsive and patient. I have thoroughly enjoyed working for step teachers. 4 years on and still able to get work and know that I am always supported. Rachel(plymouth) has been brilliant to work for, not only has she made sure i have had shifts, and always keeping me updated with my positive feedback from schools, she has been someone that I can also talk to and confide in. Her positive laughter has deffinetly kept me going especially in shifts that maybe havent been as pleasant as one would like. Many thanks Step Teachers especially Rachel :)

I have a good experience working with Step Teachers for nearly 2 years and half , During this time they have
kept me so busy with a variety of school,nursery, and age rangers, reception , Autism children to year 6 and I have throughly enjoyed the flexibility of being choose to work in different school makes me feel proud of myself and to bring a smile on the teachers face and make their

I recently started working as a Teaching Assistant through Step Teachers, and I’ve had a really great experience. This was my first job in this field, and they supported me a lot from the beginning. They provided helpful training, arranged temporary placements at first, and later helped me secure a longer-term contract.

The whole process was smooth, and their team was always supportive and encouraging. After completing my longer contract, I feel much more confident in my role. I’m very grateful for the opportunity and support they gave me, and I would highly recommend them to anyone starting a career in education.

I replied to an email from Step Teachers (having been previously registered with the agency) advertising positions. Their response was fast, efficient, and effective: they swiftly processed my case and placed me with a company wanting a permanent employee, in a position that really suited my qualifications, experience, and what I'd told them I'd prefer.
After interview with the employer, they followed up the process, liaising between the college and myself to get things moving smoothly.
All in all a superb experience!
