Step Teachers Good To Work For
I have worked with Step Teachers for a few years now. They come up trumps every time over others. Rachel Tobin in particular is efficient getting me bookings and explains ahead of the booking what to expect for example "it could be challenging there" or "you will love it there" just to prepare you if it's somewhere you have not been to before. She's also been good at letting a school know of a recent hip problem I have so they are aware not to give me tasks which involve bending or picking young ones up. I've had personal grief issues over the last couple of years and she's guided me towards help, I will take this up at some point. Rachel is just so helpful 11/10.

I have worked with the Step Teachers Agency for several years. I am treated professionally with respect and my wishes are taken into account. There is always somebody friendly and helpful at the end of a line should I have a query. I'm not available each working day, but they have filled up the days that I'm available with work. What's more, they have agreed to inform me well ahead of time to enable me manage my medication so that I can be ready for the assignment.

Good for supply TA work
Good as they gave me daily work in different schools doing supply TA work. The only issue was that work was on and off and I wasn't able to find anything permanent as a TA.

Understood my work needs
I joined Step Teachers to be more flexible to look after a family member. The team at Step Teachers Norwich understood my work needs and worked hard to keep me close to home with bookings. Positive experience overall
I have had a good experience working with Mohammed. He has been very supportive and helpful.
As a company however, the pay is not what I expected as I am paid as a qualified teacher when I am teaching in a school. This does not apply when you are supply though and your daily rate is paid as an unqualified teacher. So do bear that in mind.
Overall my experience has been a positive one.
