Travelling with our baby

Return trip to Belfast from Liverpool.

Amazing experience, fantastic service. Great staff members.

We have a baby and so we got a cabin both ways and highly recommend the cabins. The whole experience was just great from start to finish.

Great crossings

Great crossings Harwich to the Hook return. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and tidy. My only negative, the rungs on the ladder to the top bunk were uncomfortable on the feet.
Overall great crossing. Would definitely use again.

Stena Line is one of the best ferries we have ever used.

Stena Line is one of the best ferries we have travelled on and it suits our purpose to visit Holland annually for the last 7 years, no fuss, no stress, no delays, calmness - staff always polite and very kind and accommodating. We always book the Stena Plus Lounge too going and returning, and the service is first class. We let the Ship do all the hard work and less driving for us either end. Can’t fault it. Roll on next year for our 8th year. Extremely easy to book online too.

Lack of preparedness for busy crossing

While I accept that it was a very busy crossing, it was unacceptable to have to spend considerable time and effort just to find a seat to sit down!!! Only for a very considerate gentleman who shared with us, we would have had to stand and sit on the floor for the crossing.

Also while loading and unloading must clearly be carried out with safety in mind, the sheer lack of information during both of these processes is something that needs to be addressed. A simple electronic sign giving basic information would help enormously

Given we paid a lot extra for the Stena Lounge and no hot food was available, surely a free voucher to use in the normal dining room would be appropriate ?

Stena plus worth the £

Clean and tidy ship, pleasant and polite staff. Comfortable seating.
Stena plus lounge was great with tasty complimentary snacks and beverages.

Ships staff absolutely fantastic
Belfast cafe not serving as they had gone for stores I was told disappointing
Signage for cars in birkenhead confusing, definitely needs sorting.
In general a pleasant experience.

We have travelled with Stena quite a bit over the years and we always enjoy the journey with them we always book Stena plus as it gives us a bit of freedom if we want to stay longer are indeed we want to go earlier and the plus lounge is so relaxing and the staff are always friendly and polite
