I filed a claim with State Farm on my…unacceptable

I filed a claim with State Farm on my 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck.
As a female would you know to look at your third brake light to see if the gasket seal has worn and to replace the seal or brake light?
I had water damaged inside the truck the head liner and carpet had mold. It really smells bad. I couldn’t see any damage on the roof of truck. I looked up online and others had commented it was the third brake light. I took the truck to my dealership where I always do business.
To replace the head liner and carpet was close to $5,000.
I couldn’t afford that so I went with $300. For a clean up and sanitize the inside.
I filed a claim trying to get State Farm to help me on the expense.
I’m a senior and my husband usually handles all of these issues but now I’m his caregiver. It’s 24/7 job as a caregiver and my time for this claim has been a waste of my energy with calls to recovery $300.
I got 3 weeks invested in the claim and I was just told that’s wear and tear and that’s not covered.
You don’t cover a $300. For water damaged. I paid high premiums on three vehicles what for is my question????
Shame on you. 😡
Looking for a new insurance company.

State Farm comes through when it counts the most

I have been with State Farm for years, and thought the pricing was great by getting the discount of using the beacon. But the rubber really met the road when I was in my first car accident recently at the ripe old age of 54. State Farm had a tow truck onsite within an hour, they reserved/paid for a rental car for me and the person I hit, and they had the entire claim processed within 72 hours. I will never even consider any other insurance company because of how responsive their team was when it counted the most.

Flip flop

I was involved in an automobile accident, the other person involved happened to also have State Farm. The adjuster that investigated the accident told me she was at fault so he was going to open a claim under her policy. Thinking everything was done and settled I waited patiently only to get a phone call yesterday from Sarah who wouldn't give me her last name or initial to her last name, only her alias which is XG9R, at extension 31403, by the way, she is the opposite of helpful! So I get a phone call from her stating she's determined I'm at fault and she's not going to argue with me, in other words she's not going to hear me out. Such bad service! I am beyond disappointed in State Farm. Why tell me one verdict and then switch it on me. This is so unfair and the evidence is there, this lady just doesn't want to hear it, I'm just baffled. And there's no way to speak to a manager because every time I call I get routed to her. I definitely don't want to speak to her anymore. I'm definitely switching insurance companies, don't get State Farm guys, they're good until you have an accident and actually need them.

My sister- in- law was driving my …

My sister- in- law was driving my husband's van and was hit by a state farm client ,whose company rudely screwed my husband out of any money and then didn't want to pay the full lein amount he owed on the van ,had taken out money from a previous wreck, leaving him with making him pay the remaining amount on the lein. However they payed my sister-in law- law.Leaving us no vehicle plus having to come up with money to try to get another vehicle.So to all you people out there not to trust State Farm when it comes to Auto Accidents and watch your backs with them period.

Awful agents and customer service

I've been with State Farm for four years. The worst part is that the agents frequently lie and are hard to reach. Their customer service is also completely useless; they often hang up on me when I seek help with an issue involving my agent. I had to insist on speaking to the escalation team to get an explanation, but they still refused to assist. Due to this lack of care and disrespect for someone simply asking for help, I am now obtaining quotes from other agencies, as this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.

State Farm client collided with my…

State Farm client collided with my vehicle and admitted to being at fault; I reported the accident immediately after accident, State Farm Sergio Campos is the agent who is in charge of my claim. He has not reached out to me or responded to my request. Poor customer service or regards for victims of your customers. My vehicle is damaged and I am experiencing some issues with the vehicle as the front bumper is now coming off rubbing on tire as it is loose. The agent and state farm is not recomendable. I will file a claim with my insurance and let them handle this as state farm isn’t making themselves available. Update: 5/4/2026 I had to call state farm again, Campos was rude, when I tried to ask him a question, he loudly told me to stop and let him finish reading what he was reading to me. I have no doubt this will take forever so I’m going to go through my insurance, they get things done immediately!

Had a great experience today when we went to State Farm. Staff upon entry very pleasant. The best was our agent, Michael Bones. Very professional and knowledgeable. Gave us different quotes to choose from. When we were done, he walked us outside. Very warm and friendly.

I got into a collision and brought it into an approved mechanic by State Farm. The mechanic kept changing the estimate and State Farm decided to total the car. The responsible agent left the company, so I was sort of left hanging for about four days but then. Kelsee Andrew took over my claim and gave me a very generous payout for my car within 24 hours after sending the title in I had my digital claim and the money was in my account 24 hours later and I had my new car that every day. My agent here in Scottsdale, Arizona Stacey McDaniel has a great assistant who quickly got me, Kelsee. Two years ago when my vehicle was stolen again, they were fantastic after my car was recovered. It needed a lot of repairs, and it was handled in a very speedy fashion.

State farm discriminate against veterans and anyone who has has medical issues

I was approved for homeowners and auto insurance. A couple of weeks after acquiring insurance I received a cancelation notice of my auto insurance. This was due with a prior medical issue that was resolved with DMV. I had no citations or accidents and a mid 700 credit score. In order to maintain my insurance, I had to switch to the high risk plan and pay twice as much. I feel that state farm discrinates against veterans and or anyone that has had medical issues.

What has happened to State Farm

What has happened to State Farm? They are just not very good anymore. It is a bad combination of really bad technology ie. website stinks and very lazy agents. Have not had a claim in years so not sure if they can even do that anymore? I can't see my insurance policy on the website for my cars or my 2nd house in Colorado? The assistant in Colorado was very knowledgble and told me to just call her and not deal with the website because it is a waste of time and she is right! This has been a problem for sometime with their website and no one seems to care???

Charles wolf in’s. Wanda wolf took my $750 payment for 6 months ins ins. 1 month later I get letter and $100 fine for no insurance. Now Wanda’s on vacation with my $750 . What a Lyon thief scumbag.

The car insured by State Farm rear end…

The car insured by State farm rear end me, damaging my bumper. Brandon Morffy at Claim Specialist State Farm refused to pay a claim stting "Our investigation indicates our insured is not legally liable" .. Since when the rear ending is not legally liable? The car hit me with force, failing to stop, while I was waiting for a car in front to move. Horrible and dishonest. No integrity in a company doing such things.
