Staples canada has the worst customer…

Staples canada has the worst customer service. I ordered some business cards on monday.It said it was going to be a one day pickup. I went into the store to pick them up.They said they weren't there. The store told me that they were a 1-3 day pickup now.. five days have gone by and I still haven't gotten anything from them. It was impossible to get a hold of them, and when I did, they told me my order was still in the process. I need these cards by sunday. Or I wouldn't have ordered them.

Camera not functioning

I phoned in Staples Albert St before going to the location. I ha d inquired if they do save and send photos thru email. The male customer service said that they do so. So i went and go on with what i needed to the store. When i arrived a lady wearing a hijab approached me an i told her what i needed. She told me that their camera isn't working. I told her that prior going there i phoned to inquire details and that they didn't mention about a camera which isn't working. It was so devastating because it was a severe cold temperature that i had to walk all through the way there. The lady didn't even bother to apologize yet she even instilled telling me that they haven't receive any call and numerously telling me the bullshit about their camera that might not be my problem at all they should always check the technicality of their cameras! it was a horrendous and devastating experience and not a better location to go to. Not gonna go there anymore anytime.

Cancelled orders

It’s funny I was pre-approved for a Staples/Flexiti card 2015 whenever I placed an online order I would get an order#, followed by date to pick it up, I’m 1hr 15 min + from Saskatoon once charges appeared on my c/c it was safe to pick up the order. WRONG for every online order I have placed & paid, for p/u at Staples -Betts Ave have been cancelled no reason given. The last order Staples cancelled I destroyed the Staples c/c as well as demand that Flexiti close my account. I currently have two orders being held for pick up at Betts Ave store, payment method was authorized, I notified the store my trip would be delayed due to extreme weather conditions only to get a message this AM that STAPLES has decided to cancel this order without a reasonable explanation. They have proven time and time again that my orders are of no significance to them. The two orders were paid for and picked and being held for pickup until 2 hours ago - Staples cancelled again. This store has inconvenienced me one too many times so I’ve decided to never shop at any staples again! I will find a more professional office supply store.

Great job Melanie!!

I want to thank Melanie on the print desk for her excellent customer service. Recently I completed a book for a small distribution. As a senior, I am frequently made to feel slightly stupid as it pertains to computer technology. Melanie and other staff were so very kind and patient with my lack of knowledge. I cannot thank her enough for her friendly service and competency in handling my concerns. Hats off to Staples for the kind and caring staff.

No help no care no buy

After looking online ( because I’ve experienced in store help) I found what I was Ted and they had 12 in store. Went to the store and couldn’t find the product anywhere. Employees were. To busy gabbing to bother to help me. Walked out AGAIN without making a purchase. Likely the last try at Staples.

Staples Delivery Service Sucks!

I ordered 8 boxes of SOS steel wool soap pads on line. Delivery was scheduled for Jan 6, 2025 which was fine.

They (Staples) deliver only 2 boxes of the SOS PADS! And what is even more baffling is that the online order trackers says DELIVERY COMPLETE! Really? You deliver only 25% of my order and you tell me the delivery is complete?

So I have to call Customer Service and I speak to someone in their Warehouse in Laval, Quebec. The gentleman I spoke to was very apologetic and assured me that he would make sure that I received the 6 missing boxes of SOS pads.

Next day I received the rest of the missing boxes. I was told that all 8 SOS boxes should have been delivered together on January 6th.

I don't know what caused this screw up but
I don't really trust their internal delivery system, thus the rating of 1/5 for their delivery service!

Wheres the zero stars button

What went wrong pathetic customer service, this is the second time the same staples employee had given the worse customer service, i would like to add other employees are pleasent and helpful this broad was neither. whats worse i went to speak to the store manager and he tells me ya i dont want my employess helping in the copy area because they make no money from that, so i was surprised and said well then why does staples have a copy center. Then on 2nd visit in matter of a week the same woman was helping someone in the copy center and completely ignoring me yet again at the counter to ship a parcel, then she finally comes over and says i cant scan it its not scanning so i cant take to which i reply well the other young man entered it manually to which she replys im not doing that because the driver may not accept the parcel. Tells me to go make a new copy of the label, as if my time is not as valuable as hers. Actually it is more valuable shes at her place of employment. I have better things to do than go reprint a label at my office then return to staples.

Very disappointed with todays service…

Very disappointed with todays service at the Maple Ridge Printing department 2:00 pm I drove out to this staples which I have been doing for 3 years to get my event posters printed out.. Stood in line up which consisted of 1 person ME!! I place email photo of my poster waited for code only to be told the they do not do same day service? I have done this very same thing, Oh maybe 15 times as it only takes less than 15 min. to process. The guy and the girl both said they do not do same day service?? As I said I have been going here for 3 years and its always been same day service busy or not it never took longer than 20 min. The crew today where very lazy!! and didn't feel like doing it. It takes me longer to drive there than it took to make order.. In total waisted 1.5 hours for this and will have to waist another 1.5 hours to go again and pick up order. Cost of order less than $25 Time and fuel waisted $100. I am now taking my business elsewhere!! Its as simple as copy paste print DONE just like every other time

Overpriced FAX Service

Hi !
So far I never had to complain about any staples store as a long time business owner and dedicated customer , however
just had to send 7 pages by FAX from Ontario to a Quebec phone number because my machine was broken - was charged Ca.$ 19.70 which seems to me absolutely obscene - on top of that it was self service at 266 Victoria Park /95 Ellesmere Road

Zero stars

Zero stars, probably one of the worse when it comes to services and shipping. I placed an order for 2 tablets for my kids and I got the confirmation. Over a week passed and I still didn't have shipping confirmation or nothing of an update. They're already terrible when it comes to shipping so I usually order for pickup. So, I decided to call their csr line re the tablets and on hold for almost an hour. Finally, an agent came on and they've canceled the order because of low stock and I understand. But there was no update whatsoever about this. Yeah, I'm about done ordering anything from staples. We're going in to a new year and one garbage of a company to no longer get deal with.

I tried to order Norton Security from Staples Canada. Upon checkout, Staples wanted a shipping fee of $6 on a $35 software download! The software download was via email only and no mail nor shipping required. I ended buying from Best Buy.

Beyond awful Never again

Beyond awful I ordered a Chromebook because mine had died and after looking at a few sites the one I chose really appealed to me. Instead of getting shipping information the next day I got a message my order had been cancelled. It claimed I had not been charged but I was and that it would take up to seven days to get the "hold" off my account. I was refunded nine days later! That is not okay. I will not buy anything from Staples again and will warn everyone else I know not to either.

I ordered prints on line for Christmas…

I ordered prints on line for Christmas that were supposed to be ready yesterday. Today when I called to check if they were ready I was told they would take 3-5 business days. Terrible customer service followed. Bottom line, do not order prints from Staples.

Today, passive aggressive serving of peer and staff

Today, me as biz account client went get a printer cartridge and asked to price match it.
Park Royal North Van BC staples branch.
As client I asked for price match is their policy. Then I got lectured by a new employee ( seem I never saw before there) that the price on internet is a prize higher then I quoted. I then called competitor on the phone and they said it was like my prize quoted. The manager got involved and told me doesn't want to time and neglected prizematch. Although he could hear competitor on the quoting my prize correctly.
I was feeling like harassed by manager and employee alike. I cannot recommend how bully they treat people. Yes I m aware we employ new immigrants but ethnically I felt reverse discrimination by them. So yes lesson learned better go online or to competitor directly. I cannot trust Staples as business account holder. Sorry so Staples does misrepresentation in their practice.
An apology from them with kind understanding helpful service would be great.

I purchased a laptop online during the black Friday sale. Great deal but the order was cancelled because of a computer glitch. Angela from Bracebridge Staples helped me to re instate my purchase at the sale price after it had expired and made it easy for me to pick up my laptop. She made a bad experience into a good one. Excellent office manager.

Puzzle fail

Ordered 17 puzzles for a hockey team. Boxes came with pictures affixed to them all crooked. Unsatisfactory product, despite the expense of each. Now I will have to purchase 17 new boxes as they are unwilling to send me new ones as they say “they are not part of the product”.
