The product itself is good – I tried it from a friend because mine never arrived.

The whole problem started with the “great” courier company Evri, who failed to deliver my parcel. They claimed it could be for several reasons, but in the end my parcel was sent back to the seller.

I contacted Snaffling Pig to ask if the order could be resent, as it was already on its way back to them. Unfortunately, I never received a proper response about resending it – I was just issued a refund.

The product was bought on sale, and by the time this was sorted, the sale had ended, so I lost the chance to reorder it at the same price.

Overall, disappointing experience with delivery and customer service, even though the product itself is good.

I use to love snaffling pig every Christmas and even throughout the year I use to buy the big tubs of maple ones. Now they don't even sell them apart from separate bags and small gifts sets.

Well yesterday I received a gift set from the mother-in law I was excited to get them opened. And when I did the Salt and Vinegar and BBQ flavour were absolutely horrible. It was stale as if the tubs had been left open all week. I checked the date and the run out was 2026 so they were in date but I can't understand how an unopened and sealed tub can taste so revolting. Very very disappointed 😞

Although purchased the advent calendar through another site, 98% of the bags to date are stale.

Complained through their site to check if the supplier was selling out of date calendars or if their quality checks are just poor. Not received a response so that suggests their quality checks are poor and they don't like criticism.

Won't be buying their products anymore.

*Update 15/6/2026 snaffling pig have never been in contact and never got this sorted. Don't believe their response.

Ordered through not on the high street, order not received . Still waiting for a reply despite leaving numerous messages but being totally ignored

Customer service is exceptional.
In a world where so many companies out there offer diabolical customer service, these guys are awesome.
Kudos to them. They sorted out a refund for me without any issue and quickly.

I ordered end November for advent calender and large scratchings. Nothin happened for over a week until I got in touch. Happily you agreed the delivery had gone wrong and were kind enough to send me my order again, free of charge. I have still not received anything and have been told one part of my order is out of stock so I have been refunded. However I have not received a single thing so would like it all refunded.

Bought the advent calendar through Amazon and they taste musky the only good ones were the bbq very disappointed would of ordered a case of bbq but won’t now

My girlfriend bought me this and I'm not going to burst her bubble but the product is sub par.
I've had this brands scratching before and they have always been good,I had a glass jar full of the salt and vinegar ones and the flavouring was brilliant.
Comparatively these have no flavour and make me wonder if the flavouring is added in packet which seems strange. I'm on day 14 and have had very little variety of flavour and the plain white packets they all come in do not emote the same feeling as the colours they show on the calender itself. I've had quite stale packets, packets with soo little flavour I've had to salt and chilli myself to make them taste sorting other than bland.

Given the cost, too hit and miss and not elgood enough

Satisfied customer here. I placed order for advent calendar and snaffling pig were sadly let down by the courier service. The advent calendar was delayed by over 10 days in the couriers warehouse. Not ideal when it’s a timely gift. I reached out to snaffling pig on day 11 and they swiftly dispatched another advent calendar that arrived the next working day. The original calendar was also delivered. I did offer to return one of the calendars but the company haven’t taken me up on that offer. Thank you very much for your generosity in sorting out the situation.
My husband was delighted with his alternative advent calendar as he doesn’t really like too much chocolate. He loves this calendar though!

Deeply disappointing. These pork scratchings were massively overpriced for what turned out to be a bag of burnt-fat disappointment. Advertised as double cooked, they tasted exactly like that — an overwhelming flavour of scorched fat rather than anything remotely meaty or savoury.

Most pieces were puffed-up, artificial-looking husks with no proper meat attached, just odd dark patches that looked more suspicious than appetising. Every now and then there was a strange hit of sugar or sweetener, which only made things worse.

Overall: bland, burnt, artificial, and nothing like real pork scratchings. Definitely not worth the price. 2/10.

These guys are legends, not only are their pork scratchings in a class of their own, when Evri were their usual useless selves these guys went above and beyond to ensure the overgrown child in the house still got his advent calendar.

Excellent items fast delivery excellent customer service would not hesitate at ordering again.

The idea of an advent calendar is a good one, but I was a bit disappointed in the product, which was much harder than it used to be (I haven't bought anything from them for at least a couple of years). I also rather expected that there would be varied flavours, which there weren't. On the whole, rather disappointing.

Received order damaged contacted customer services (AI pig) who informed me they would move me to a “human” 6 days later no response from said human.
Disappointed as gift box bought and this was damaged due to shipping, unable to use so now have to just use a gift bag not the box which I asked for a replacement rather than send the whole order back. Not impressed with customer service at all.

I'm so glad I found you....I purchased a porky avent calender for my daughter this year...it was an amazing sight yo see her face she was so happy ....she has been a type one diabetic since the age of eight years now reaching her 33rd birthday, this was the very first advent calender she could eat without thing about injecting for carbs....Thank-you...service was speedy and great communication....brilliant...

Used to be very good. But they have gone downhill rapidly. Customer service these days is non existent as they no longer have a phone number, no one responds to online chat. And email you just get an AI automated response. The ordering system is terrible and the products ever limited these days. I now remember why I cancelled my subscriptions a 2 years ago. After my current experience.
