How holidays should be.
Our second visit with Simpson Travel to GK Hotel, in Kalyves, Crete. This is a small, homely, hotel where all the staff work so hard to ensure everyone has an enjoyable holiday. The Simpson Hotel Concierges were a source of very helpful advice on the local area, travel and so on and before and during the stay, we received several emails full of helpful information. The flights (via TUI) were on time, the airport meet and greet and transfers smooth and efficient. Praise to Simpson Travel for their behind the scenes work to ensure that holidays are enjoyable and repeats / returns are keenly anticipated.

Couldn't have asked for more
Great service overall. Accurate and timely pre- and post-departure communications from Simpson Travel, which instilled confidence in our holiday arrangements. There were no nasty surprises and everything was exactly as described. Excellent concierge service whilst away, with lots of advice and recommendations on local restaurants and places of interest - nothing was too much trouble. All in all, it was a highly successful, luxurious trip for our large party of 10. I would book again with this company.

Villa Mare stay - September 2024
I enjoyed a fabulous holiday in Corsica last summer staying at the Villa Mare at Calvi which was idyllic.
The villa is very spacious with four comfortable bedrooms which had a lot of storage space. There was a well -designed kitchen and dining area and a comfortable outside seating area where we relaxed and ate out under the stars.
Wonderful views were had from the roof terrace where we enjoyed sundowners most evenings.
The swimming pool area is very private, ideal for sunbathing and taking a dip in the spacious warm pool.
The villa is in a quiet location within a short stroll to the beach and nearby restaurant. The sea was calm and pleasant for swimming.
There are a lot of historic and fascinating towns nearby to stroll around and beautiful countryside to explore.

Customer service is faultless - someone 'there' at all stages of the holiday from meet and greet at the airport, quick and efficient car hire pick up and drop off, booking restaurants locally and other hints and tips on places to go and things to see and even a surprise birthday cake!

Fantastic villas & service
We’ve used Simpson Travel (ST) twice now for villa holidays in Provence, France and Dalyan, Turkey. Their villas are really high quality and provide all the essentials you’d need on a self catering holiday plus extras like local olive oil and coffee.
But what really stands out is ST’s customer service and how they look after you before and during your holidays; from booking our airport transfers inc kids car seats, to sorting out our grocery shopping so that we have everything we need as soon as we arrive. We’ll absolutely be using ST again!

Return to San Stefano
Return to San Stefano - after a great experience last year and were not disappointed on our return.Superbly maintained villa (and pool) within easy walk of San Stefano's lovely tavernas. As usual, all engagement with Simpson staff (on booking, at the airport, car hire, concierge for holiday arrangements) was fantastic.
Would suggest visitors consider airport transfer (and car hire delivery) as it can be a crush in the car if you are more than 2 and with luggage and some villa approaches as the villa description states are steep - but that is the price of the fantastic views!
