This is the 2nd time I have dealt with this "company" this time with a different disguise, ie: trading name.
I discovered them through Tesco Marketplace (Tesco please don't deal with these people you are surely better than this?) posing as Lancaster Holdings.
After a bit of digging found their email address, oh dear Go Shop Direct.....knew it was going to be bad.
Of course they didn't ship on time, of course they blamed their courier who hadn't even received the goods from them, of course it's been an awful experience.
Everyone do your homework and just don't go there!!!!!
As it stands I involved my bank and told GSD I was claiming my money back under the 1974 Consumer Credit Act.

Bu I sign up in very account there shown purchase and return .They didn't get bank details. Now 10.55 pound shown credit pending history ,that means missed payments . I don't know how to resolve this. Then at last I paid this amount . But still in my Experian credit history. Every month 10.55 shown on very website.

Ordered a heated clothes dryer via Debenhams on 1st September and still haven’t received it. Even Debenhams don’t know what has happened or where my order is. The shipping company hasn’t received it yet and I paid for express delivery which meant it was supposed to take 2 days, 16 days later and it’s in the wind. Now I’m supposed to wait for this company to ship a replacement. I wish I never heard of this company and if I’d have known that the product wasn’t from Debenhams but a company with a bad reputation I would never have ordered

Ordered a fridge that was to small, company happily let me return it, and theRefund was quick. They were quick in responding to my messages. I ordered another one, the wrong item was sent however it was quickly resolved and my order didn't take long to arrive.
21 years of hell
Ordered a fixed bracelet watch which did not fit and returned. Apparently it was never received and 21 years later I am being pursued for the debt I have repeatedly settled. Half of my life has been spent being chased by all because I was naïve not to ask for a proof of postage.

Ordered a 'Lumilux' infrared light product and also received a fake contraband product, with fake promises of 'refund' from 'ukshopperdirect'.
Very corrupt company
Very corrupt company. Avoid them at all costs if you do need high interest credit for any reason i wouldnt recomend these crooks. Credit account set up by someone else. When I called to query it they told me it's quite possibly someone I know after we rattled of a few names of possible people it could've been they confirmed the last person I mentioned so they basically knew it wasn't me that set it up. Then told me there's nothing they can do because I know the name of the person that set it up and the account continues. You would expect far better fraud assistance from a company owned by barclays.

A fabulous service especially from the after sales team,Anna in particular, they could not be more helpful,as well as being friendly and professional.
Unfortunately the product arrived damaged clearly not the fault of Shopdirect it appeared to have been damaged in transit. The returns process despite it being a large electrical item was so easy.

They lie and refuse to refund a bad conditioned item. It is their lie against your truth.
Mobile phones seem to be refurbished. Sealed are loose. They then refuse to make a refund of the phone in unsuitable condition.
Massive interest rate of 44.9%, another indications of how they might be ripping off their customers.
Would not be dealing with them again.

Fraud
I found from my credit record that someone had had a search carried out by shop direct and set up and account. I called them to check what had happened. The lady was so helpful she gave advice on how to check everything was correct , took my information and completed a form to investigate. She was extremely kind and understanding. Within 15 minutes I had a call back directing me to the fraud team. The person I spoke to was brilliant. Explained what happened what they had done amd what would happen next. Everyone I spoke to knew what needed to be done and it was handled smoothly leaving me confident it has been resolved. Thank you so much x

Delivery driver was lovely and carried my large items into the house, as my partner was not here and there was no way I could lift myself. Very friendly.
