I am furious and feel insulted. Last year, I bought a Ford Ecosport at the Darlington Branch. The sales were friendly and the service good, but after 3 months the exhaust broke. I spent 300 pounds to repair it, which was fine. Then came the coil ignition issue, and in the same year, near Christmas, the fuel filter started leaking petrol. Today, I went to do a part exchange for another car at the same place as last year, and they had the audacity to offer much less than the value. I completely understand that I am trading in, but if I bought a car worth 7,000 and they offer me 2,069, that is a joke. They also pointed out problems in the car that were never there. I have been a customer for years and have always bought cars from you, and we always know we will lose money on part exchange, but insulting me like this is too much. Not only have you lost me as a customer forever, but I will also be spreading negative publicity about you. I have already informed 12 friends who have family members that buy from you. Now, about the used car you are also selling, it has scratches on the right side and the rear trunk, in addition to losing paint...hmm, strange, you really overvalue your used cars.

I suddenly needed to buy a new car and had three days to do so. I did the round of Japanese / Korean brands' showrooms, finally arriving at KIA / S G Petch. I was immediately taken by the showroom and its contents. The service afforded me by a totally non-pressurising salesman soon lead me to the hybrid KIA Sportage. Guided by the salesman on matters like the luxury car tax and plug-in hybrids I knew I had reached the right decision on model & spec. Two days later I collected my new Sportage and was given a thorough 15 min tutorial in the car explaining all the key functions and switches. I felt the 3-year service package, the package of protective coatings in & out, plus the alloy wheel repair package were reasonably priced and, furthermore, would greatly enhance any future trade-in deal at KIA/S G Petch.

Had a mix up over a loan car, they couldn’t have been more helpful and took time to find a car for me, friendly with no fuss

This is the first time using SG Petch Ltd at the Middlesbrough branch. It was a very pleasant experience from walking in to leaving. The staff was so welcoming and didn’t make you feel uncomfortable like some other establishments. Our sales person Liam bent over backwards to help and provide us what we wanted. The process buying the car was very smooth. There was one small glitch regarding the SD Card which was rectified very quickly. Would definitely use and recommend this branch.

This is the 3rd car I have bought from S G Petch and I must say the young salesman Ben was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and just had a lovely attitude. The day I picked the car up he talked me through everything and a couple of weeks later he rang to see if everything was ok and did I have any questions. Total pleasure dealing with this garage.

Fantastic service from sg Petch Middlesbrough , I knew what I was looking for on arriving but it wasn’t on for court then speaking with mark he had a look at the stock found what I wanted had it brought over s couple of days later perfect loved the car mark answered all my questions will defiantly go back next time and will definitely refer 10/10

The team at S.G.Petch are always polite, considerate and welcoming. Having time to accommodate a cranky old widower who woffles with ease.

Had an engine management light on early May and booked it into Darlington for a mid May appointment. They told me they needed to order parts and would let me know when they arrived. After a couple of weeks of hearing nothing, I rang and was told someone would ring me back. They didn’t and this happened a few times. When eventually spoke to the service desk they said they would chase it up and ring me back. They didn’t and this happened twice. Over a month after the initial appointment I rang and was told that the part was in and made an appointment for the following week.
I took it in to be told later in the day that it was the wrong part but they had ordered the right one which was coming the next day.
You know what I’m thinking, why didn’t the original one come the next day?
They’re rude and their communication is terrible. I emailed to say that they have a don’t care attitude. They didn’t reply 🤷‍♂️

Friendly staff in service department. Booked my car in for repair of wing mirror which was covered by Kia warranty. Completed work on time and car was washed as well!

Very helpful very considerate in general a good reliable service

Took my peugeot E-3008 to sg petch for its service, they kindly supplied me with an electric courtesy car and 5 hours later I collected my car back from them, they were even kind enough to wash and hoover my vehicle, I was kept up to date with my cars progress via a video they sent me and overall the service I received from them was first class, I highly recommend sg petch to anyone.

Car was purchased and had problems with bodywork/paint from day 1, car has been in about 6 weeks in total, 3 weeks the last time and still the finish on the paint is very poor. I have accepted now that they do not have the expertise to resolve the problem and other than take it elsewhere and pay for it myself I will have to live with it.I must say the staff have always been very good to deal with, never a problem its just a pity the end result was so disappointing.

We were looking for that needle in a haystack, Low mileage Kia Sorrento diesel that wasn't white, black or grey. Found it at SG Petch on line and put the £99 hold on it. Arranged a visit with Tegan to view the car on the one day we had spare and then made the 3 hr trek to Richmond. Tegan recommended a varied route for a quick test drive and then took time to value our trade in car. Quick, simple process to do the swap on the day saving another trip north. Excellent personal service with the feel of a proud family business. Well done

Fantastic service, third car from Sg Petch Durham. Second time having Ray as our salesman. Great help, very knowledgeable constant communication and advice regarding the car we are getting and the one we are selling on.
