Absolutely useless at delivering post and packages in Bridge of Don. Often get message stating "unable to attempt to deliver" so it's not that they lied about trying to deliver which used to happen. N... See more

I definitely do not recommend Royal Mail, especially in situations where something goes wrong. My package sent via Tracked 48 did not reach the customer. As a result, I incurred double costs, refunding the customer and losing the shipped item. The company drags the matter out, and as compensation, they offered me eight first-class stamps, which is simply ridiculous and unacceptable for a service with a compensation guarantee of up to twenty-five pounds. Avoid them at all costs!
Would give zero if possible
Would give zero if possible. Simply - never use if you can help it. Legacy technology, inflexible service. I have been trying to sort the deliver of some medicine and the experience has been woeful. The company should cease to exist.

My letters and small parcels usually delivered by my usual post man, but if it’s a big parcel it’s always someone else who claims they can’t find my address and attempt to send back my parcel to the sender. Then I have to chase up Royal Mail customer service to have it re deliver
One star rating is one to many.
One star rating is one to many.
Fri + Sat they claimed they tryed to deliver a 24 tracked delivery.
They didnt as i had a gardener in my front garden on fri and saterday my wife was in, and the elephant in the room is my security cameras that record every thing.
They are a completely dishonest company with no shame.
I dont blame our postman but his management whom would blame false delivery claims and make the postman look terrible.
Take they're royal warrant away.
Dishonest liars.
Absolutely useless
I have refrained from posting a negative review of RM but enough is enough. Delay after delay and today apparently the package couldn’t be delivered because the address was inaccessible. The address has a 24hr concierge!!! As always there is no way to contact anyone. Zero customer service. Completely useless. I will be using anyone but RM from now on. Waste of time

TWO birthday cards posted 1st Class from different parts of the UK on TUESDAY had not arrived in FERNDOWN (West Moors) by SATURDAY.
We are lucky to get mail deliveries twice a week. Come on our government, sort it out!
Royal Mail Tracked 24 parcel took 77 hours to be delivered
Royal Mail can you explain why when I paid for Tracked 24 the parcel took over 77 hours to be delivered?

The worse delivery company according to what i experienced. I would not recommend it.
"Attempted Delivery"
Ordered an item for RM Tracked 48. Had a delivery window between 17:30 and 19:30. Item never showed up. At 21:58, the tracking updated to say "Delivery Attempted - Sorry, we were unable to deliver this item at 30-05-2026 as the address was inaccessible."
We have cameras everywhere and a parcel box, no attempt at delivery was made.
Next day I called them expecting to file a complaint, since nobody had attempted to deliver. The response was that "Delivery attempted" can mean basically anything, like if the van broke down and they never intended to deliver it, that means delivery attempted. I asked if they could bump it up to Sunday delivery as I had paid for 48 hour delivery and they said no.
I paid for 48 hour delivery, they didn't even try to deliver it within 48 hours, then updated tracking to blame me by saying that they attempted delivery when they didn't, redefined what "attempted delivery" means and then refused to do anything about it.

They keep you informed on the status of your delivery and so far have delivered on the day and time quoted. Our postman Dan is always smiling and polite
Parcel was due for delivery today got…
Parcel was due for delivery today got an email from royal mail saying so then 3 minutes later got an email saying attempted delivery phoned royal mail and they said it must have been a mistake but it will still be delivered today. It wasnt delivered. Seems like royal mail dont want to do the job they are supposed to do
Unbearably unthinking and incompetent
Unbearably unthinking and incompetent. Yet again they didnt leave my parcel in my safe space. No doubt they will redeliver on Monday wasting more time and resources and disturbing a terminally ill resident.
Their endless email updates dont reflect what actually happens.
I can't reach them
I can't reach them, they dont leave you anything even with the phone number its impossible to contact them, parcel is stuck on the same missed delivery window and thats their perfect 24 hours service!!! I dont know whats wrong with companies that hire them when there are services like Evri
I paid for a next day 24hr tracked…
I paid for a next day 24hr tracked delivery, they blatantly claimed to deliver my parcel but that 'there didn’t seem to be anyone in' even though I was home and there was no sight of them whatsoever. Camera evidence available to show they haven't attempted delivery. Pure incompetence and wasting people's time
I ordered a parcel to be collected on…
I ordered a parcel to be collected on Tuesday and was told there was no parcel to collect, so had it redirected to be collected on Saturday and told no labels and yet it says do not print a label they will bring it. I contacted Royal Mail and the person was so rude & arrogant, he kept interrupting me and telling me to listen when I was trying to tell him what had happened. I would never ever contact them again terrible, terrible service and absolutely no customer tolerance.
