Paid $3,200+ – Faulty Product Returned, Replacement Never Sent, No Response
I purchased a Rotimatic machine (Order 76845) for NZD 3,038.30, which was delivered in January 2025.
Unfortunately, the unit became faulty and had to be returned in September 2025. I was then advised to upgrade the machine, and I paid an additional NZD 243.68 in December 2025, with confirmation that a replacement would be dispatched in March 2026.
It is now well past that timeframe:
• No replacement has been dispatched
• No tracking provided
• No meaningful response to multiple follow-ups
At this point, Rotimatic has:
• Supplied a faulty product
• Failed to provide a replacement within a reasonable time
• Taken additional payment without delivering anything further
This is extremely disappointing given the premium price point. I have now formally cancelled the contract and requested a full refund of NZD 3,281.98.
I would strongly caution others considering purchasing—especially international buyers—until this matter is resolved.

Terrible machine
Terrible machine. Even worse customer service. A total scam. I paid over $1,500 for this piece of garbage. Hardly worked for a couple of months without issues. Had to return and get a replacement. Same problems. I have been trying to get a refund for over a month and they do nothing but send emails through AI chatbots. Keep your money to yourself and don't buy this piece of crap.

I purchased the latest Rotimatic Next, and after receiving it, I used it for a few days but found it not up to the mark. Within a week, I decided to return it.
Once I initiated the return, their customer service began offering multiple incentives to avoid taking the product back—extended warranty, $100 to $250 discounts, even sending a replacement unit with an additional year of warranty.
After several rounds of emails, they finally provided a return label. I shipped the unit back, and they confirmed receiving it. Yet again, instead of processing the refund, they tried to push a brand-new unit.
I’ve been clear from the start—I want a refund. As of now, I’m still waiting for it.
I’m confident I’ll eventually get my money back one way or another. But I’m sharing this to genuinely help anyone who is on the fence about buying this product—think carefully before you invest your time, money, and energy. This is ALL HYPE and NO GOOD

I believe this was a complete fraud. I placed an order from Australia about 3 months ago, but only received it after a delay of around 3 months. From the very beginning, the product did not work at all.
I have been trying to contact the company, but there has been no response through any channel. It’s extremely disappointing and frustrating. I really wish I had checked the reviews beforehand.
Broken machine, no support
I bought the Rotimatic in November 2025, and it was delivered in January 2026. From the moment it arrived, it never worked—issues with the flour system. I contacted support persistently, and after over a month of pushing, they admitted a part was defective and promised a replacement. Since February, absolute silence. I’ve tried every channel—chat, app, emails, forms—with no response. It’s now over five months, and this expensive machine has never worked. I even bought a two-year warranty, but they aren’t bothered to honor it. Meanwhile, they keep selling new products but won’t support existing customers. It’s infuriating and unacceptable!

I have been facing issues with my Rotimatic machine since January 2026, and my experience with their customer support has been extremely frustrating.
From the beginning, it has been very difficult to even get in touch with their support team. Each time I contacted them, I was passed from one advisor to another with no resolution. At the end of January, I was told that my case had been transferred to a “senior team” and that I would be contacted within 48 hours. This never happened. I followed up multiple times (at least 3–4 times), and each time I was given the same 48-hour promise with no response.
By mid-February, I was still waiting. Whenever I asked to speak with a manager, I was told they were unavailable or not working—responses that felt dismissive and unhelpful. In some cases, chats were simply closed, leaving me with no way to follow up. I even have proof of these interactions, which I shared in my previous review.
Only after posting a public review was I contacted by a manager. Shockingly, he informed me that my case had never actually been transferred to the senior team before, despite what I had been told multiple times. He then said he would escalate it properly.
By March, I was finally told to send the machine back for a replacement. I specifically asked whether I would receive a new machine quickly, since I had already been unable to use it for nearly two months. I was assured that I would.
However, after I dropped off the machine at UPS, I received an email from the CEO’s office stating that the “new” machine would be shipped on March 25. This was surprising and disappointing, as by the time I receive it, I will have gone more than three months without a working product.
Later, I realized that they are likely repairing the same machine and sending it back, rather than providing a true replacement as implied. This feels misleading.
Additionally, I was offered a three-month warranty extension. This does not feel like compensation—it simply covers the time I was unable to use the product. It adds no real value and feels more like a token gesture than a genuine effort to resolve the issue.
I replied to the CEO’s email immediately, but as of today (March 26), I have received no response. I also have not received any shipping confirmation, despite being told the machine would ship on March 25. I currently have no idea when—or if—I will receive it.
The company advertises a money-back guarantee, but this situation is not just about a refund. It’s about accountability, transparency, and customer care. Unfortunately, the communication I’ve received so far feels generic and insincere, rather than focused on actually resolving the issue.

Worst customer experience
I've bought the product in December, I was promised the delivery by 1st week of March. Never got any update since 1st week of March, the chat bot they have is useless, the 24x7 customer support they promise is bogus. You always get a standard response from them - that a customer agent will get back in 12 to 24 hours. They never get back. I paid 1800 euros and its like flushing that through a toilet.
Defective Product & No Refund for 100+ Days
I purchased a RotiMatic last year, but unfortunately, it was defective right from day one and never worked. We were unable to use the product at all. After multiple follow-ups, we returned the unit in December, and the company has confirmed that they received it.
However, since then, I have not received my refund. It has been over 90–100 days, and despite continuous follow-ups via email, there has been no response from their side. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable.
What makes this even worse is that while my refund is still pending, there has been absolutely no delay in the monthly EMI deductions from my credit card. I am still being charged for a product I never got to use, which is completely unfair.
I have all the necessary documentation, including purchase receipts and UPS return proof, and have shared everything with them multiple times. Still, there has been complete silence.
This is my hard-earned money, and the lack of accountability is very concerning. At this point, it feels like customers are being ignored after returns are processed.
I am even willing to share my order number publicly if it helps escalate this issue. I strongly urge the company to take immediate action and resolve this matter.

I had a very disappointing experience. The machine I received was defective, and the serial number provided didn’t even match the one on the unit I got.
I spent an entire day troubleshooting, only to be passed between 3 different customer service agents. Eventually, they agreed to send a replacement machine. However, it has now been over a month, and despite multiple follow-ups, I have received no updates on the replacement or its ETA.
The lack of communication and accountability is extremely frustrating and unacceptable.
I would not recommend buying from this company, save your money and avoid the hassle.
UPDATE: SCAM ALERT. No response to emails or chats after they agreed to replace the defective machine. It’s been over a month now. Avoid at all costs.

My machine was delivered to me on 24th December 2025. And it is not working from 23rd March 2026. So effectively the machine has worked for less than 3 months!!
The Catcher is not working - the spring on one side of the catcher is not working so both sides are not coming together to catch the dough . The catcher is not moving from the back to front as well and thus the Rotimatic machine doesn’t work at all. No rotis being made by machine!!
I have reported this issue over chat 48+ hours back. There is NO response on chat (even though they write they will respond within 1 day!)
I have sent an email yesterday (24th March) on both their Support emails from my registered email id and there is NO reply or even acknowledgement from them!! Not even an automated case or ticket number assigned.
There is NO contact phone number given so basically I am left with NO way to reach them, outside of the chat and email they have given and chosen not to respond on!
I have visitors visiting from overseas and this was the only reason I bought the Rotimatic Next to help me at this time with the roti making process and I’m having to cook roti every single day -3 times a day- myself, because the machine has failed!!
I have mentioned this on chat and in emails too. Apparently no empathetic human listening on the other side!
We buy premium products like Rotimatic Next and pay through our nose so that we have uninterrupted service and this is far from the experience I’ve had with the Rotimatic next, with it failing within 3 months!!
And pls note I placed the order along with purchasing 3 year extended warranty, precisely for the reason of peace of mind and 3 months is all it lasted!

When i posted about the issue and terrible customer experience, i got a response on this platform.
On public platforms, your team is quick to respond with polished, reassuring messages, promising prompt resolutions and support. But the moment the conversation moves to your own support channel, there is complete silence. No follow-up, no accountability, no effort to actually resolve the issue.
This creates a very clear impression that your public responses are nothing more than a façade to manage brand image, rather than a genuine attempt to help customers. It feels like you are more concerned about how things look externally than actually fixing real problems.
I have been following up consistently, yet your team has chosen to ignore the issue after making commitments publicly. This kind of behavior is not just disappointing—it’s misleading and deeply frustrating.
If your team promises something on a public platform, the least you can do is stand by it and follow through on your own support system. Right now, there is a huge gap between what you say and what you actually do.
I expect immediate action and a proper response on your platform. This pattern of making commitments publicly and then abandoning the customer privately is completely unacceptable.

Worst customer service and ethics the Rotimatic teamhas demonstrated to us. The machine works fine but as soon as there is an issue get ready to say goodbye to it.
We reached out regarding a technical issue and after waiting for 2 weeks for a technical assist call. After many email exchanges and back and forth with so many service agent still stucknin the same loop. The 24x7 service does not exist and responses are driven by their teams availability.
There are no follow ups or progress updates even when you request for the same. I am regretting buying the machine and investing money in it as there seems no way to fix it or replace it as the Rotimatic team is absolutely complacent and customer service or support is not their priority.Has been almost 2 months without any resolution.

I purchased the Rotimatic Plus expecting a premium product with reliable support. What I received has been the complete opposite.
Shortly after purchase, the machine developed issues. I contacted support and was told to replace the unit immediately. I followed their instructions in good faith. Since then, there has been no response, no update, and no replacement.
I have sent multiple emails and messages. Not a single meaningful reply. No timeline. No ownership. Just silence.
This is unacceptable for a product in this price range. When a company asks a customer to take action, they must follow through. In this case, they have failed completely.
The most frustrating part is not just the faulty machine, it is the lack of communication. Delays can happen. But ignoring customers is not acceptable.
I am now left without a working machine and without any support. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the Rotimatic Plus to anyone. If after sales service matters to you, think twice before buying.
Wrost customer care support -chat
We used our Rotimatic for four years, and just before the warranty expired we reported an issue. Unfortunately, customer service didn’t resolve it, and once the warranty ran out a week later, they refused to address the problem any further.
We then decided to return the machine and purchase a remanufactured unit instead. Although remanufactured Rotimatics are clearly shown as available online, customer support repeatedly insisted that none were in stock and refused to acknowledge what we could see ourselves.
Now we’re stuck with a non‑functional machine and no clear way forward. The only way to contact them is through chat, and the support agents keep insisting that no remanufactured units exist. We genuinely wanted to continue using Rotimatic and would have been happy to buy another one, but what can we do when customer service won’t even allow us to purchase a replacement?

This is the most dreadful customer service I ever experienced.
Not only does the interlocutor keep changing but they keep the customer in an infernal loop as to not deal with the issue.
We purchased a rotimatic next after enquiring about the material trying to make sure no PFAS or PFAE were used, which the staff confirmed only to say the opposite later on after the purchase around the end of 2025.
We demanded to return the machine which they dragged passed the return policy to even reply to that query.
After a dreadfully long exchange, once we had a response, one of their staff finally agreed on making an exception for us to return the machine and get a refund.
We proceeded to return the machine as per their instructions, the machine is now at their facility. They confirmed it and confirmed a refund is being processed. Weeks later and after several enquiries about the refund status which was confirmed to being "processed: we still have NO REFUND and they DARE offering "an alternative" to get a new machine instead.
We insist on getting our refund as agreed upon weeks prior and then end up with automatic emails asking to fill up a stupid form and have yet again No refund to this day.....
It's been MONTHS and the situation remains unresolved.
So I will be blunt spare yourself a headache: avoid this company and their products like the plague!
