Rip off merchants

I rang the Belconnen store and they said 'we'll have a look at the globe because there are different types'

But when I went into Mitchell, they didn't need to look but then sold me the wrong type.

I then had to return the bulbs.

It's only tonight I realised they've sold me the most expensive headlamp globes, for a 15 year old runabout car.

Instead of letting me know there was a cheaper option, they sold me the most expensive type of globe.

$28 for one headlamp - the exact same brand and model that is available online, for $9 each. I'm not a mechanical person, I'm an ex-veteran and a pensioner.

The difference is half my grocery budget for the week.

If you can't trust people to give you a range of options, including the lower priced option, you can't trust them at all.

Wouldn't recommend Repco, and will never use them again

Tried to open a trade account with…

Tried to open a trade account with Repco. You would not believe the hoops you have to jump through and the personal information you have to supply. I have credit cards and trade accounts at other companies, and not one has asked for half the information Repco wants. in the end it just became a nightmare and I gave up even saying ok just give me a cash account. all I wanted was access to the trade website and trade pricing. If I could give them lower than a one star I would.

Bought a bulb at Repco botany

Bought a bulb at Repco botany, they gave the wrong bulb.... Took it back and the manager was so rude, even throwing out threats and telling my husband, if his gay ☹️ I rang spoke to head office and they passed it on to general manager and told me, will get back to me. I'm waiting patiently. Poor poor service.

Customer service

Rang Repco branch regarding Timken bearings and was told Repco does not stock this brand (website says otherwise). Salesperson then asked for the bearing part number and said it does not exist (Timken would beg to differ). I decided it was time to end the call. All in all, rude disinterested customer service. Pity as I have usually found Repco staff to be quite helpful.

I rang to order a waterpump at Mildura store because none was in stock was told over the phone they could do a store to store transfer I said that would be great went in picked it up played went home and on the invoice I'd been charged $20.00 for inward freight I wasn't told about this when I ordered it and a little box 20 dollars that's wrong you should be told up front contact

When I drive away from Repco

When I drive away from Repco, my Mitubishi Challenger (MC), has a noticeable spring in it's step. The drive train, the electrics, everything seems better and I cannot decide if it's just purring because it knows very shortly with a new lower front left suspension control arm and joint being added that it's humming excitedly with relief or if MC is glad its not a sleep-over in a surgical ward (garage). I explained that no...Repco is more like a dispensary where you get healed by being treated in advance, but, if that were to happen, MC's mum and dad will be there too. Thanks Cheyanne for inspiring MC to admit this to me.

From the moment we walked in , Michael could not do enough to help. He was courteous, knowledgeable and awesomely friendly. He needs to be told what an asset he is to your team. We were chasing a few annoyingly small parts that he patiently helped us find.

Disappointing Experience with Repco Kwinana

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Repco Kwinana. I purchased a set of windshield wipers less than two months ago, and to my surprise, they split and became unusable in such a short period of time. Understandably, I reached out to their customer service team for assistance. However, I was met with a complete lack of empathy and willingness to rectify the issue.

Despite providing details about the faulty product and explaining the circumstances, the staff at Repco Kwinana flat-out refused to replace or refund the windshield wipers. Their dismissive attitude and refusal to acknowledge the quality issue only added to my frustration.

As a consumer, I expect reliable products and fair customer service. Unfortunately, Repco Kwinana failed to meet these basic expectations. The lack of accountability and apathy towards resolving a clear product defect is unacceptable.

I urge potential customers to reconsider purchasing any automotive products from Repco Kwinana based on my disappointing experience. It's disheartening when a company prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction and product quality.

In conclusion, I sincerely hope that Repco Kwinana reconsiders their approach to customer service and product quality to avoid disappointing other consumers in the future. As for my situation, I remain without a resolution and deeply unsatisfied with the outcome.

Customer Service - I don't think so...

Ordered over $200 products online which were dispatched from the Repco FTG store. On arrival some of the products had leaked and were removed from the box from Aus Post. The remaining goods were covered in the stuff that leaked.
I contacted the Ferntree Gully store who couldn't have cared less.
Thier advice - Pack it back into the box and take it to your nearest Repco store and explain what happened.
I should also mention that Aus Post had to remove the leaking bottle.
The Repco sales assistant went on to say, I am not sure what they might do as Aus Post could have dropped and damaged the goods in transit.
Box was in good condition, so it wasn't dropped, this was simply a leaking bottle.
Absolute waste of time..

Thanks Repco.
Might need to work on your customer service.

Unprofessional customer service

Ordered an item online but the shop actually didn't have it. They emailed and told me to pick it up but turned out that they didn't have it in stock. The shop people said the stock would come in in the next few days. But later when I contacted them via email, the guy said it was a clearance item, and they would not restock it.

Terrible customer service!

I‘d give zero stars if I could for that terrible customer service. What a rude lady serving me. They were nice when my partner was there and when I went back alone to check because they didn’t take off 25% Boxing Day sale she told me lies that the policing compound is usually $260 even though we know that it’s only $67 normally as well… she was super rude just because I’m a young female thinking I don’t know my detailing products. Absolutely ridiculous, talking to customers about how great her pay will be today, she should not get paid at all for that service.

Below average service

Garbutt Store Townsville, not very customer friendly, some days you feel like you're an inconvenience.
There is a feeling of unhappiness, very few staff smile, other are zombie like in actions. Even when phoning the store, the responses can abrupt and very unprofessional. In such a competitive market, one would think that customers should be treated how the staff would like to be treated.

While I would like to shop at Repco as I have done most of my life, the other Repco shops are not as convenient, so I generally shop with the other businesses that are of a happier disposition.

Poor promotions with bad taste

I went to purchase 3 tins of engine cleaner on special for $10. When I went to pay for it the cashier said its only for club members and I can join. I find this extremely in bad taste. I don't go to a fuel station or Farmers and be told I cant get a discount unless I am a member. I will never step into a Repco again as I have for the past 18 years. Super Cheap for me now.
