Repco is the biggest ripoff!!!

This place is the biggest ripoff in New Zealand. I brought a steering rack through them and they charged me $200 more then if i got it imported from the supplier they get it from. I will never buy items from them ever again..and i suggest no one else does...this franchise needs to be exited from New Zealand, we dont need money hungry suppliers like them..

Avoid shopping at Penrith Repco.

Avoid shopping at Penrith Repco.
I had the worst experience, 30 min click and collect is more like when they want to do it, I walked into the shop 2 hours later and my order wasn't ready and asked to wait at least 10 mins by a rude team member. A new team member helped me straight away and got the rude one to process my order. Never shopping here again longs as that rude team member is there, as they think the reno's are more important than customers.
I'm heading back to Super Cheap.

Repco Don’t Care

Hi, Tried to point this out to Repco but was told to go jump. Repco have three pricing levels(at minimum), retail, club members and auto club members. If you want the Auto Club members discount and are not part of say RACQ ,just show this price to Super Cheap and they will sell it to you at the discounted price. So in short you can buy cheaper at SuperCheap every time.My local SC store is only metres from Repco so I can do this all day without effort . I pointed this out to Repco feedback and they did not care at all. Only really posting this because of attitude I got for trying to help.

Inattentive Staff

⭐⭐ (2/5 stars)

While I wanted to support the local Repco at Kingaroy, my recent experience left much to be desired. During a quiet period when the store was empty, the staff members were engrossed in their own conversation and showed little interest in assisting customers. Despite being the only customer present, I had difficulty getting help with my inquiries.

What could be improved:
- Customer acknowledgment: I stood waiting for assistance while staff continued their personal conversation
- Professional demeanor: Staff prioritized social chat over customer service
- Attentiveness: Basic customer service expectations weren't met

I hope management addresses these service issues, as I'd like to support local businesses but expect a basic level of customer attention and professionalism.

Absolute worst service I've ever received

Absolute worst service I've ever received in your Mornington Store. I was spoken to terribly when I wanted to follow up on an order that was overdue. Now the item has been returned and they've accepted the returned goods but the refund payment remains overdue, without so much as a confirmation that it's been processed. I've sent numerous emails to follow up and still have not received a response. Don't bother with Repco they're a waste of time and don't have a clue. Supercheap and their competitors are much more competent and provide much better service.

Click and Collect 1-3 days they claim.
All good, I thought. Get an email and a text message saying my product had arrived in store and ready for pickup. Most folks would be of the belief that this actually meant that they could actually drive to the store and collect. But wait.. this actually means that it is sitting on a pallet somewhere and can be collected in another 4 days time. Silly old bugger I am. Who in their right mind would drive 30 kilometers one way to collect something that was supposedly ready for collecting??

I have purchased 2 of repo complete…

I have purchased 2 of repo complete struts I wanted 4 for a 2003 Camry.
Unfortunately they tell me that the only ones that are available are the left back and right front.
Apperatly the are 6 of one and 9 of the others on back order and the factory won’t make any more.
I would have thought that 2 more would not be that hard to add to the back order list.
So I could have a complete set.
I have disappointed that you are unable to help
Please contact me and explain the problem.

Thankd

Overpriced cheap stuff and bogus sales

This company is not what is used to be. In recent years I've had several of their products prove to be re-badged cheap stuff with a premium price tag. They seemed to have gone down the road of constant bogus 'sales' on products that are marked up beyond good value. As gold members we go through quite a few automotive products. The last purchase we spent $659 on "clearance" item for our truck. The same item was selling three months later at a new regular price of $200 less?? Feeling ripped off already? It's an increasingly common marketing trend that the likes of Kings and other retail peddlers use and it kills loyalty. Even as RAC members , one week you get a 20% special club discount, you look a week later and they're selling the same item to anyone at even less. Scammy. You may as well buy of ebay. We were loyal Repco customers for many years but it's just not reciprocated any more. Don't assume their huge discount 'sales' are good value. You can often find the same thing cheaper again elsewhere.

Needed a part for my 30 year old beemer

I needed a spart part for my 30 year old beemer and not holding much hope of finding one I called repco Airport west store and was told they had one in stock.
I picked it up took it home but it was the wrong connection for my model .
Calling them back asking for a exchange or refund they searched again and found another part they thought would be the exact part I needed I headed back.
I saw the part was exactly like my old one they apologised for the wrong order and allowed me to purchase it for half price which I didn’t ask for.
I was so impressed with their eagerness to ensure I was totally satisfied .
I will from now on try repco first from now on for any spare parts .
Excellent service and professionalism .
