I thoroughly recommend talking to Reeves about pension planning. They are approachable, hugely knowledgeable and yet able to communicate in simple clear language.

Early doors for me in terms of working with Reeves to improve my pension pot. However, the free review service has been outstanding and I’m instantly reassured I’m making the right choice in asking them to manage these going forwards to give me the best growth results.

I was cold-contacted on linkedin by a young lady from Reeves Independent, she was offering a free pension review and was very polite and helpful. I went ahead, despite reservations based on the thought that you "don't get owt for nowt", because it was at the point I was looking at options and trying to work out whether I could stop work, so I figured what's the harm in another opinion.

I submitted data and went through a few calls with an advisor (sorry, I meant salesman) and was shocked by the service - it was a blatant attempt to move my funds onto their platform and investments, and as soon as they realised that I was financially literate and have used advisors for many years, they stopped responding and gave up trying to switch me over.

I do not believe they had my best interests at heart and I don't believe their advice was correct.

My advice is to avoid them at all costs.

Had a rare first class customer service experience with Reeves. Initially nervous about sharing information and being scammed I was very quickly offered reasurance and opportunity to do some further due diligence. Once into the process, communication was excellent throughout, provided information to enable Sandeep to deliver a really visual and impactful presentation on my pension summary. Could easily have tried to get fees out of me but they were transparent and advised nothing to do at this time and that I was on the right track for now. Really impressive experience and congrats to Sandeep and her wider team. Highly recommend.

I have received two entirely unsolicited messages form different reps at this company, via LinkedIn messages. At least one had "scalped" my name from a specific (and entirely unrelated) interest group on there.

I find this approach baffling - why would any sane adult accept such an offer rather than using a recommended/local/referred pension adviser? When I (politely) declined their bizarre "cold-calls" neither of them even had the grace to respond or acknowledge, making me think they are just a factory farm trying to get as many leads as possible.

Thank you very much for the useful retirement information provided it was most helpful to understand my various options at retirement age.

Reeves have been great throughout. I have now been with them for going on 4 years. As things change Chris my advisor listens and understands my circumstances and adapts to suit my situation. During my reviews many scenarios going forward are explored with only my best interests considered for not only myself but also for my family in the future. The meetings are never rushed and all questions and possible issues are always fully discussed and explained further where needed.
