Customer service at Rat & Boa is almost…

Customer service at Rat & Boa is almost impossible to get in contact with. Even after 4 follow-up emails, we are still waiting for proper answers and an actual resolution.

This case has now been ongoing since May 13th without any real compensation or refund being provided — despite an active dialogue and promises that management would respond within “1–2 working days”.

I honestly understand the many negative reviews now. These dresses cost a significant amount of money, and when something arrives damaged and is purchased for an important occasion like a wedding, it is incredibly unprofessional to handle both the customer and the case this way.

The lack of urgency, accountability, and communication has made the entire experience extremely disappointing and stressful.

Think twice before ordering

I am updating my review because the experience has unfortunately become even more frustrating.

I ordered two dresses from Rat & Boa for my wedding weekend, including the Francesca Dress, which unfortunately arrived with visible black ink-like stains on the fabric. As my wedding is this weekend, I did not realistically have time to return the dress and receive a replacement.

Instead, I have now had to send the dress for professional cleaning at my own expense in an attempt to save it in time.

What has made the situation even worse is the customer service experience. Rat & Boa publicly replied here stating that they had been in contact with me and provided a resolution, while in reality I was still waiting for answers and repeatedly chasing their customer service through multiple emails.

I was told on Friday to allow “1–2 working days” for management to respond. It is now well beyond that timeframe, and despite repeated follow-ups, they are extremely difficult to get in contact with.

The lack of communication, delays, and misleading public response suggesting the issue had already been resolved have made this experience incredibly stressful and disappointing - especially given the importance of the occasion the dress was purchased for.

I will happily revise this review should Rat & Boa finally provide a fair and proper resolution to this situation.

Really disappointed with Rat & Boa…

Really disappointed with Rat & Boa customer service. I placed two dress orders — one was a pre-order that stated it would ship on 19 May, which is why I bought it. The next day I found the same dress at Selfridges, so I immediately contacted them to cancel the order before shipment.

I sent multiple emails and cancellation requests and received no proper response at all. And i urgently need to cancel my order and get a refund .It’s now past the estimated shipping date, the order still hasn’t shipped, and I’m leaving the UK soon, so I have no idea what’s happening with my order.

I also returned another dress because although it was an XS, it fit extremely oversized. The return has been shipped, but due to the lack of communication and support, I’m now genuinely worried about whether I’ll even receive my refund.

The dresses are beautiful, but the customer service experience has honestly been extremely frustrating.

I ordered the Antheia Dress (XXS/XS)…

I ordered the Antheia Dress (XXS/XS) for €340 under order EUR135149, but instead of receiving the dress, I received a completely wrong item. This is unacceptable for such an expensive order.

I immediately contacted customer service and requested a refund because I never received the item I paid for. No response at all more than a week!!!! Very disappointing experience and poor quality control. Buyers should be careful.

I would never order anything from this…

I would never order anything from this company , I think it’s a scam , they do not answer any e-mails for returns , I bought my dress for my wedding and it came faulty , I have e-mailed them more times than I can count , no response, if you look at all the reviews every1 has the same story , I am going to report this company , and I really hope they go out of business, they don’t deserve to be in the industry, and I also think they are over priced for the money , scammers !!!

Being ignored despite multiple ticket requests and emails!

I have contacted customer service multiple times regarding my pending refund and I am being ignored. I am yet to receive a refund for my order (#323168) and it has been longer than 5 working days. I have also asked them to confirm which card the refund will be returned too and that has also fallen on deaf ears. I have raised multiple ticket requests and sent multiple follow up emails and no one is helping me. I am very disappointed and this experience has seriously put me off ever ordering again. Avoid!!

Never received an email of confirmation…

Never received an email of confirmation or shipping after ordering (yes I checked the junk). The money was taken out of my account and the only way I could see it was through the shop app. I emailed them on the Monday at midday and still haven’t heard back from them. I placed my order on the Friday and the shop app is still saying that it hasn’t been shipped, and I ordered for an event this Friday. Extremely frustrated.
