Puralator Driver Lied

Puralator Driver Lied. A company sent out a package inadvertaley to me wihtout my consent. Upon discussion, they told me I could refuse the package.

I cancelled other obligations just to wait around to refuse a package, I dont feel I should be responsible for.

The Driver lied to the front office and said he spoke to me, and I told him to leave the package at the front desk.

This has inconvenienced me and now I have to got through the rigors of getting a return label and waiting for a driver to pick back up the package.

With the driver lying, I was given no opportunity to refuse the delivery.

I have called and place a complaint with an agent, I won't put her name here.

She advised that she would sent it to the driver's manager. I also asked to speak to managment.

I asked her for a call back in a couple of days, as i have to get things done I postphoned today.

Its really a bad look when a companies driver lies so they can leave delivery with anyone and have anyone sign for it, without my consent.

If I could give this a minus rating I would.

They just lie to deny a claim

They dropped a package I sent to a client. We double boxed, added corner guards, 1" air bubble wrap and 2 layers of foam to protect and still they completely dented a corner (must have dropped it from at least a 2-3 foot height to acheive that). Submitted a claim, got the run around for weeks. Sent them pictures of packaging etc. They basically just said it was not enough - I asked where and how as it was clearly packed as what they said they needed in the picture. They just lied. Total scam. Never will use them again. Stay away.

You can see they responded to this review so I did contact them again. No kidding....they said there is nothing we can do. Why bother replying... other than just to look the part of a company that cares. Stay away.

My experience

My package was sent from Vancouver an hour drive and a ferry ride away heading to Victoria where I live. That's approximately 115km distance. My package last scan was 4 days ago in Ontario roughly 3400km by air or 4300km by road. Canada post (who owns purolator) posted 1.5 billion dollar loss last year. Makes me wonder how many maneuvers like this purolator makes. That's lots of resources wasted and you can see from the reviews on this site things are bad for many people regarding purolator. Please better yourself Purolator lots of other delivery companies doing good business and satisfying customers and making money. You could be too.

Never on time

This is the third time this month I’ve had a parcel shipped with Purolator and the 3rd time it hasn’t arrived as scheduled. We’re now two days past the delivery date and according to the tracking, it isn’t even in my province yet.

I was suppose to get my package of live worms and trout roe
These can spoill and die if not refrigerated

I work alone in my store is close at 8 pm have no time to pick up

3 failed delivery attempts to an…

3 failed delivery attempts to an accessible house. No explanation, no door knockers or anything. Was home each time. 'Receiver not home', a no show the next day (despite being on the truck for delivery) and then 'receiver inaccessible' the third day. Pretty sure no one attempted delivery any of those days.

Requesting they keep it for pick up but i'm not confident this will go smoothly. Absolute incompetence.

Purolator staff are incompetent to make an address change and get a shipment to a hub

Synopsis:
I despise Purolator. It took over a month to get a shipment to me. It was the perfect storm having my FlexDelivery address (Canada Post PO box number) with The Shopping Channel (TSC) for this item and not knowing that the manufacturer would be shipping it through Purolator instead.

Review:
My neighbourhood gets a power outage now and again. In February, there was a power outage for over two hours. I used my cell phone as my hotspot to work on my laptop, which I nearly depleted the battery before the outage was over.

A week later, I was watching TSC with my mom. An EcoFlow portable power station was 50% off. It felt right to buy it after enduring this power outage. I can continue to power devices and more.

The description didn't say that PO box addresses weren't accepted. I use a FlexDelivery address, as Canada Post isn't great delivering packages to my home. For some reason, similar to UPS, drivers fail to ring the doorbell, knock on the door, or even leave a note like they used to say that they had attempted a delivery.

The FlexDelivery address ensures that my packages go to my local post office. Everyone knows me there and are great holding my packages, even longer than the maximum 15-day limit.

March 11 - EcoFlow shipped this item out. I was stateside the following day.

March 16 - I got a voice message from Purolator. Allegedly, a delivery was attempted, but they don't delivery to PO boxes. It stated that I needed to call Rogers, which was confusing.

TSC is owned by Rogers. I'm guessing that's what the person meant. I could not make the address change with Purolator because EcoFlow put an address restriction on this order. Such a pain.

I called TSC to explain that I needed the delivery address changed to a local Purolator location. I was in Minnesota and did not want this delivery to happen when I'm not home. The woman was great specifying Peoples Drug Mart in Scarborough. She sent off the e-mail to Purolator. She also shared my home address with Purolator

Later that same day, I got another voice message from Purolator from another woman. She said that she needed my home address. Well, that detail was shared by TSC to you.

This woman went on about not being able to deliver to a PO box. Yes, I know. I specified through TSC that I wanted to pick it up at Peoples Drug Mart. In the voice message, she seems confused.

I contacted TSC again to ensure that my home address was specified in the e-mail. The woman confirmed that it was there and also sent another e-mail to Purolator.

Guess what? Purolator sent the package back to EcoFlow on March 19. Why? Purolator cited not getting my address. That issue is between Purolator and TSC. I know that TSC did it. It's sheer incompetence on Purolator's part.

March 20 - I got a call from Sarah at TSC. I am super annoyed that the description for this item does not spell out that no PO boxes are allowed for the address. Purolator as the carrier is a huge deviation.

I basically told her that if I can't get this shipment delivered to Peoples Drug Mart, I'd be more than happy to cancel this order. As a customer, I shouldn't be dealing with Purolator and TSC to orchestrate fixing my home address and getting this delivery to a Purolator pickup location with an address restriction placed by EcoFlow.

March 31 - Props go to Anchal at TSC for getting the reshipment done. She let me know what the new tracking number was and that it would be heading to Peoples Drug Mart.

Excellent! Well, so I thought.

April 9 - Yes, Purolator called me again. It's apparently missing the unit number for Peoples Drug Mart and asked me to provide it.

This Purolator location is in their system. Why can't you pull up the unit number?

I call Purolator. I got a woman. She says that she needs the unit number for Peoples Drug Mart.

My response? "Oh, you can't do a search online for Peoples Drug Mart like I did?"

I heard a slight snicker. How about you take that snicker and put it to good use by doing your job?

I find that every Purolator staffer that I have dealt with for this shipment has been incompetent beyond belief. I should not be doing your dirty work to provide a unit number for your Purolator hub location. It's in your system. Figure it out. Leave the customer, me, alone.

Of note, the drugstore doesn't have a unit number. Purolator = Pure incompetence.

I get this woman to get Purolator's act together. The address on file is correct. There is no unit number at this drugstore and your hub. Get on with it.

April 10 - Shipment is at the hub.

April 11 - I picked it up in person.

It took a over month from placing the order to picking it up.

Purolator is inefficient. Staff are incompetent. Simply a horrific experience. Reaching out after getting Purolator's comment is futile. It did nothing to resolve its issues and was a waste of my time dealing with more incompetence.

Delivery driver to lazy to deliver the…

Delivery guy too lazy to deliver the package. I dont want to go to any store to buy the item so i ordered online and have it delivered. Today, my wife had to book an uber just to pick up the item simply because the delivery guy is too LAZY TO KNOCK OR RING THE BELL

Incompetent drivers

I gave my whole address. The package was on a truck. Suddenly, they say I never gave my unit number, which is false, and now I cannot get my order delivered on time. When contacting customer service, the only answer I get is that they can’t do anything for me to get my package on time. My package was already on a truck, the delivery guy never even tried to contact me (he had the address, I don’t get why he didn’t even try, unless he’s too incompetent). Every time one of my package is handled by them I have some kind of issue and it’s really annoying. The person at the customer service clearly doesn’t care at all.

Absolutely the worst courier experience…

Absolutely the worst courier experience ever. Driver rang the lobby bell but didn’t give us time to open the door. He must have had a note already prepared because there was nobody on the camera when I turned it on less than a half minute later. The note said the package would be at a store located far from our home three days later at 11:00 am. We went there at 12:20 and it wasn’t there yet. The man in the store (A Plus Convenience Store) was inexcusably rude about it.
We are still trying in vain to obtain our package.

Worst service

Driver lied

Supposed to get a delivery through Purolator. Instead, driver wrote "Road Blocked, Unable to deliver". Problem with that lie is, we are on a major 4 lane road. I was home all day and the road was not closed. Driver just didn't feel like delivering on a Friday, so lied. I'm done with them. Do not use Purolator for anything. I plan on lighting up social media and getting the word out. Avoid them at all costs. If you order something online, make sure to tell the seller you do not want deliveries through Purolator.

I agree this is worse courier company maybe globally

Three experiences within 2 months, Two with bextbuy. First experience they delayed delivery claiming snow storm. There was indeed storm so I let it slide. The second experience was important package from Service Canada where they claimed they attempted delivery and no one was home yet no attempt slip was left so other than phone tracking update I had no idea where to locate package and no one cared that I had to be driving around to different depots to locate. Now after leaving hospital I purchased a mini fridge at bestbuy and yes as bestbuy is in bed with purolator they indeed shipped with them. They have package shipping back and forth to same location near my home, then past my home, then as I purchased item for my room where i should be on bed rest decided to pick up item at walmart instead and spent an extra $80 just to bring it home using uber. Supervisor request item be returned to sender yet even now they have it returned to depot near my home still attempting to deliver so maybe they can lay the claim to bestbuy that it was refused by sender. I have multiple recordings of both bestbuy and purolater supervisor and agents where they confirmed item request to return to sender processed yet still getting updates and notification where package is being attempted for delivery. I spent $80 extra to buy with another organization to show you purolator that even if you handed it to me for free there is nothing you can offer me than I will accept from you.

I can see you defensive you get in other reveiws making out customers to be liars instead of fixing your broken systems. Do yo think having free funding from Canadian govt and Canada post association will stop me from telling the truth that your company will not in any lifetime receive a dollar from me as your organization is undoubtably one of the least honest company I have witnessed and if you attempt to tie up my funds sending this item around and and around the globe before i can get my refund let this and the review left of bestbuy serve as notice I will post additional social media platforms reviews making this into series as well as share on my podcast which spans over 175 countries around the world should you choose to continue to lack operating without morals. I understand how systems work and you should not be in business with how you deal with customers.
I am a great reviewer and so if you continue to challenge forcing this package on me I will not stop at BBB but seek recourse as I have the time to do this.

Clearly you are allowed to continue without changing how you operate because of your alliances but karma does not miss.

I had a very frustrating delivery…

I had a very frustrating delivery experience with my Best Buy order. I was at home all day, but no delivery attempt was made. Despite this, I was notified that I need to pick up the package from a pickup location.

Why are they still in business

Why are they still in business. Worst delivery company ever. Absolutely no attempt to deliver my package to my condo even after I have given them all the info to get in. Notvgoing to buy from companies that use Purolator as there delivery system.

I just want to say how dissatisfied

I just want to say how dissatisfied I am with Purolator service, I have been waiting since Monday for my package, first delay was a sorting error, 2nd delay it was missed connection, third delay at 4:54pm its due to weather, I live in Halifax it was not raining or snowing not so much as a breeze and it was 5 degrees, I can not exept weather being a valid reason for not delivering, yesterday I was expecting a different package I was home all day, they failed to deliver saying I was not home they did not even knock and stuck the notice to my door handle that package came today, its the 2nd package I am still waiting for. it was shipped express and they have not met that expectation. I am very disappointed and have requeted a written apology.

Followed instructions

Delivery was quick, parcel was delivered when predicted, and the delivery person followed my requests as to where to leave the parcel and to ring the doorbell upon delivery. Simple requests but not always followed!

The driver marked my package as…

The driver marked my package as “delivery attempted”, but no attempt was actually made. I was home all day - no knock, no call, no door tag. This is misleading and unacceptable. It seems like the driver simply skipped the delivery.

Drivers are useless, literally will do nothing extra and even said "its not my job" Do not phone customer.

Driver stopped delivery of a critical cancer treatment drug package from a pharmacy stating simply in my tracking that "Street access blocked". I actually live in the country and have a driveway off a main paved Range Road. In fact, overnight it had snowed and a branch... just a branch.... broke off and was on the paved driveway. From this spot you can see my home. I actually drove over the branch the prior night in the dark, it was not obstructive to a vehicle. I had to get passed the virtual assistants to get a live agent. Only a Manager can authorise a second delivery attempt. IT was done. The same driver returned (I literally red carpeted the driveway by removing the few broken branches). When confronted why he didn't call me ? I would have met him there? Why didn't he just get out of his vehicle, remove the one branch to the side of the driveway, and continue up the driveway. His response was literally "Its not my job". Absolutely useless, zero extra effort for customer service, doing nothing over above just sitting and driving and listening to his bluetooth iPhone earpods. A company reputation is made up of its extra effort, its people, the image and reputation it portrays. This driver, and many like him, do not do that and are destroying the fabric of our society, businesses and reputations. I will never use Purolator in my life and do not recommend anyone ever use them. If I could give a zero rating, I would. I only thank the Manager at Purolator for authorising a "2nd delivery attempt". Funny how the same driver managed to call me at the 2nd attempt as he said he was at my house but didn't want to exit because our dog was outside. Fair enough. So I went outside and met him. He could have done the same with a phone call the first time.
