Now resolved following proactive customer service.
Tyres fitting was booked and paid for 4 days before appointment. Unfortunately the tyres were not delivered to the garage on the booked day and we had to come back the following day. Protyre are normally much better than this.

Booked in for MOT
Booked in for MOT, it failed, had to wait 4 days before it could be retested leaving me without a car. Guy on reception was very stressed, clearly needed some time off, not sure the company treats it's staff well or it's customers. Took the car elsewhere for the work to be done to speed up the process, was told it was failed unnecessarily on a tyre. Not sure I'd trust them to touch my car again. Still had to wait till the following week for a retest.

Poor customer service.
Made up stuff to get more money out of me. Following this I went to a different garage and they reviewed what they had said and told me the problem was completely fine. Secondly once I had mentioned my name they treated me completely differently and in a rude manner.

What a great team
What a great team. Turned up with no notice on 2nd January and they sorted a complete set of tyres for me, no bother at all. Moreover, despite being relatively busy, they turned it around in less than half an hour.

Pushing for sales
Went in for replacement of one tyre, got told all 4 needed replacing and that two were bald, when asked where, as tread was in excess of the tread depth indicator and asking if they were illegal I was told no, which was later confirmed when I received the tyre condition report which stated that I had 4-5mm on the tyres. Prompt service though and stuck to allocated time.

Very polite, helpful and professional. I made a mistake on what tyre I purchased for my car before my appointment. The garage helped me very quickly and were able to get it sorted that day.
