I was hesitant to use a company like this but hving been on the market for 5 months and not selling and reducing price 4 times I gave up with agents and thought I would give it a go!!! Sold within a couple weeks and would recommend anyne who needs to sell quickly or is fed up with agents like me. Cheers PPC.

The Property Purchasing Company
The Property Purchasing Company (not to be confused with the Property BUYING company who are lovely) offered us 25k less than our original asking price however we were happy to proceed and they even promised at looking at raising the offer once valuations were complete. Upon two valuations we received an email from their agent who confirmed they were happy with the reports and the offer still stands. All that was left was the survey (we’d had one done not long before and knew the house was perfect so this didn’t concern us). So we went ahead on securing our dream home...
They dragged their feet with the survey report till we were two weeks from our agreed completion date and then dropped the bombshell. Even with a perfect survey and two house valuations, they dropped their offer by 55k.. they threw endless nonsense at us telling us why it wasn’t worth as much as originally thought. One disgusting point raised was that because it’s a bungalow, a lot of the target audience have died during covid. Awful. They had absolutely no intention of paying the original offer and rely on their victims being so deep into the property purchase that they have no option but to accept their absurd offer.
I had heard horror stories of these companies and I just prayed they weren’t one of them… THEY ARE! Stay as far away as possible from these scam artists.

Left us in a dilemma
From the beginning offered us 85% market value of our house which we accepted. Months down the line after very little contact from them they contacted us saying the valuation had come back nearly 30k less than what the house is worth. Whenever we call them we never get through to anyone to provide us with information on the progress. Waiting for them to change their offer at which point will pull the plug. Just waiting days for any information and all ready to move. Left us in a bad situation. Un impressed which is a big understatement.

Be careful
Offered me a cash offer in November for my house which was obviously below market value, I took the offer and also had it in an email. Then this week at the last minute tried to offer me £55,000 less that their initial offer based on valuations...which I knew were incorrect. Staff were nice but there initial offer basically means nothing
