I've been a keen follower of Property 118 for many years and the forum gives an insight ( positive and negative) into the real life issues facing landlords. Quite a few post have defiantly put me ahead of impending legislation and I've learnt a lot from others peoples experiences. I recently took on some mentoring from one of the property experts at Property 118 and its been a very useful experience and giving me a real plan for the future of my career as a landlord and branching out into other sectors.

If you are considering different strategies in order to reduce IHT and improved cash flows don’t consider consulting with anyone else in the first instance.

I am MD of a medium sized family property Company (Ltd) incorporated 40 years ago. I would recommend this format for any number of properties above 5. I also strongly recommend acquiring and - if necessaryupgrading small commercial units - with all, fast IT, fire safety, heating, toilet, parking... et cetera. There is a demand from individual entrepreneurs for such. A greater turnover- but a lot less legal-and-replacement aggravation than residential. Thanks for fighting for us all. RRD
