Scam avoid at all costs! I mistakenly topped up my partners mobile believing it to be EE . I had clicked on an ad . Never received the £10 top up then days later they took £49 from my bank for a subscription fee ! They would not refund. Thankfully my bank refunded me the £49 and blocked them from taking further payments . I never received the £10 top up . Avoid these scammers

Warning with them, they will charge 49€ into your bank account without your consent after you buy small prepaid phone recharge, they are thieves

They are a scam. When you purchase a 1 time credit of £4.9, they will later charge you £49 in a separate transaction hoping you wouldn’t notice.

Avoid at all costs. Topped up £5 and days later received a £49 subscription charge that I didnt subscribe to. Subsequently refused a refund after contacting them. Thieving scum!

Total scam. I topped up my mother's account, for what I thought was a one-off. 2 days later I had a subscription payment requested. I had no idea that I had been signed up to any kind of subscription. I am contesting this and they have offered me a partial refund which is completely unacceptable because I apparently had a 3-day free trial and I cancelled the subscription well within this time anyway. I am still fighting to get my money back and reporting this company as fraudulent. Avoid at all costs.

I like many other people who have posted a review on here have found myself on the wrong side of this company's awful and misleading tactics in shadow "subscribing" by which has also cost me money for a service I didn't ask for or knowingly sign up to. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Will be taking this matter further, but avoid so you don't have to!!!

It's a fraud and scam. They sign you up for subscription without your knowledge. I once tried to top up my O2 number as O2 app is super difficult as well. But I didn't get that credit. I disputed it then suddenly I got a transaction of 49 pounds today saying I have subscribed and agreed to their terms and conditions. Avoid, big red flag. It's a scam company. I am gonna report it as well.

Scammers and thieves, avoid them. Subscription for £49.

Be very careful before using this website.
At first glance, it looks like a normal mobile top-up service. The page mainly asks for your mobile number and how much credit you want to buy, so it's easy to assume you're making a one-off purchase.
What I didn't realise was that I had apparently signed up for a £49 per month subscription. The information about the membership is displayed in much smaller text and is easy to miss, especially if you're using the site quickly on a phone.
Even the confirmation emails didn't make it obvious that I had subscribed to a recurring monthly membership, so I only discovered it after seeing the charge.
In my opinion, the website's design is misleading and could easily cause customers to believe they are simply purchasing a mobile top-up rather than enrolling in an ongoing subscription.
My advice is to read every page very carefully before entering your payment details. If you're only looking to top up your mobile, make sure you understand exactly what you're agreeing to before completing the purchase.
Update 10/08/2026
They have charged another £49 today, it is showing as pending.
If first payment they took was an autorised subscription what is the justification for today.
They have kept my bank details and charging it as they please.

I paid £15 on Saturday to topup my new EE simcard this is for a month. On Tuesday another £49 was taken from my account. I phoned and a foreign woman spoke very calmly its in the t&c’s you will get nothing back. I will talk to Argos and EE but I am sure they already know . I will now be careful where I shop .

I topped up my 86 year old aunty's very basic phone for 10 euros when I visited her in Ireland. 2 days later hit with a charge for £45.85. My bank text me to say probable fraud. Stopped payment then cancelled my card. Few days later another charge for £45.85 'appears on my card.raised issue with bank.
Contacted customer services by email told this was a subscription charge which I know I never knowingly signed up for.
Emailed to dispute told can cancel subscription but not issue refund as outside of 3 day trial.this company is stealing off people who just want to top up a phone. AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE THIEVES.
