Sorry post bank
Sorry post bank. I was for about 4 years custemer. But since i start to use the online banking. They really make me stress. And to the point when i call to the custermer service. They told me we can not speak English. Online App i can say it is the worrest App. Because of the finamceassistance and bestsighen app i forced to change another bank. Custemer service no respect to they custemer. Sorry post bank for not considering respect to your Customers. A big Elephant with out grass.

Post office and bank this does not work well They are diverted me from another bank that gives the car loan, but after a week the Postbank does not give a loan. Meanwhile, the already approved loan is also lost from the other bank.I had to look for a new credit bank again (Santander). Unprofessional & Unethical Postbank
Such a waste of time with this bank as I had to postpone my notary appointment 2 times despite clearly communicating the date. What is even worse is, they insist me to go ahead and sign the house registration documents without the financing contract. It has been more than 3 weeks since I made an application for home loan with them. They are yet to provide an yes/no approval and wanting me to sign the registration contract. My biggest fear is, what will happen if I sign the registration documents and later to my surprise, bank changes their credit conditions. This has happened already once during the application process. Postbank's financial consultants are not professional and do not stick to their commitment. Above all they are selling a bunch of insurance products combined with home loan stating that only then you get a better rates. Total waste of time, unprofessional & unethical people.
Extremely slow service
Extremely slow service. Waited 2 weeks for my account to become active. I then could not get a Postbank ID because they thought the signature was pasted.
I tried to explain that I used modern technology.
Thinking about writing everything with a feather dipped in ink and sending all documentation via a white dove...
Amazingly old-school and useless
Amazingly old-school and useless. Being the "post"bank, they seem to love Post. Everything comes in the post, excessive use and waste of paper. It took 2 months and 3+ attempts to open an account because they kept lacking information even though I had all the forms and documents checked by the Postoffice and Postbank staff on all occasions. When I finally got an account, I got sent a lot of mail to log in, but then you cant actually log in without requesting a pin for the app - which will of course be sent to you in the mail in about a week. Finally I got that and logged in, now 3 months later. I wanted to set up some ETF saving plans, but that was also unsuccessful because they need some other sign in code (Meldeschlüssel gemäß MiFIR Art. 26). The message tells me to call the call centre - and wait indefinitely on hold.
In the meantime I set up a Depot Konto with Consors bank (much more efficient) so have given up on Postbank and will continue with Consors. But the whole experience with Postbank was so ridiculous and a huge waste of time (and very un-environmentally friendly) so I´d like to warn others against it.
N26 is a great bank for a regular account - super easy to set up, very digital and user friendly. Triodos and GLS are great green banks for sustainability (not investing your money in Fossil fuels) and for saving plans there are better options than Postbank too. Your time is worth money too so no point wasting it with Postbank.

Negative experience!
Agreed conditions were simply changed by a factor of 100(!) without notification. Of course to our disadvantage! Even after consultation, there was no explanation or arbitration offer!
Last straw, i just can't take it anymore
Today was my last straw i just couldn't bare it anymore, too much is too much. Besides all the problems you guys have, which are totally real. Personal doesn't want to speak English (although they understand). Passwords and ID numbers are done by post and for each you have to wait for weeks and than weeks again to activate your account. For me it took 2 months to actually start banking. Ok, i could take that, big whoop, registration is done. I hoped it was only this part which will abuse my patiance. Then i needed to send money and receive money, well this took postbanks end of transaction 2 days to other country in EU. Yes, you read it correctly 2 days from postbanks side to deliver money to other country and than it was 1 H MAX for other countries bank to make that money appear in my account. Ok I decided so what I wont send money. Now today I urgently needed to recieve money from my other account in Other EU country, I sent it as express means I pay my bank so the transaction is instant. I did it in 5:30 in the morning. My Other countries bank assured me that money has been delivered to postbank at 6:30. Now i am here i was 2 times to postbank ATM cause we know how postbank internet bank is not working for anyone. Although they say it does work. Sorry it doesn't, telling me that in different languages won't make it work. It is a software and banks inner problem. As i promised here is he update. This is now precisely 25H since money should be in my account, now i have been to ATM 6 times. 6x 6.80 = 40.20 € i have spent because Internet bank is not working and there is no other way to check my postbank account. I allready see postbank people laughing at this post, it disgusts me to the bone. This is the worst i have ever been treated, even Army training was more humane than this attitude, and nothing is done about it, no one is picking up phone and there is no way of me knowing what has happened to my money. I advise you if by any chance someone is asking you to register in postbank, Or you are registered in it please leave, your health wallet and time is more important, than this circus they are making here, and i am one of theyr atractions by force not by will. I don't know i am in a corner now. On one hand i have to have my money and i can get it only by pulling the ATM with my car. On the other hand it will be illegal, to do it. But i am just a human being and my right is to have my expenses reimbursed. Postbank os the worst institution in the face of the world. I am furious, berserk, and very very angry. I am not living in africa, that i have to pay extra almost 50 eur just to check my account. I will be looking forward for postbank to contact me and clear this issue, as allways i will update you people on how much postbank really cared about theyr client, Disgusting. I want to puke from this incompetence. Talking about Germans being punctual. Now it has been 32 Hours since money should have been arrived in postbanks account, but it is not there Postbank i will file for goodbyes. I am not an animal.
Customer Support is useless
Delayed my bank opening for months, then for over 1 month they can't solve my problem using the bank app............Useless customer support!! We're now living in a digital world!!! Rude, Lying, disrespectful workers
I just now called to get my account unlocked. Mrs. Wierner was so rude on the line. Didn’t want to answer questions. Lied about a supervisor being there. And we accomplished nothing. Horrible telephone service. And Branch service is even worst. They are not aware of what are to do. They know the basics about their job and that’s it. I’ll be leaving the bank next month.

Munich, Münchner Freiheit: Abysmal over the counter service, rude staff, and I couldn’t pay with credit card in a bank (?!). I suggest some investment in customer service training and adjusting your payments options to the 21st century.
Awful over counter service
Awful over counter service. Not helpful over the phone also. Try ti get the online banking and they take forever to respond and months wait still nit secede. Staff at the counter is mostly unprofessional and not well trained. Open the bank account somewhere else! If you have to pay for the bank service is better to go with the real bank and not the post office try to play banking.

Complaint
The bank did not give me access to the account and e-banking without any explanation. They need forever to respond. In my case, they prevent me from providing support to my 87-year-old and sick mother in Germany by handling her financial matters.
The whole process to set-up e-banking was terribly complicated and not guided properly. After having it set-up, they now shut it down on their own perception. Hard to believe this is possible and feasible for a German bank in the 21st century.

terrible online banking experience. their servers and services can be down for days, leaving you stranded and unable to pay or transfer on-line. If you travel this is not the bank for you
Telephone Banking???
I've been a customer of Postbank for well over 10 years. The worst thing about Postbank for me is the so-called telephone banking. All you get is someone with no idea of customer service giving you one 'leider' after another (leider is the German word for unfortunately, it also appears to be German for sod you). They should check out the service that First Direct has been offering in the UK for well over 25 years. THAT is telephone banking. Postbank are way behind the times.
A start in the right direction would be:
1. Customer service training.
2. Study what First Direct are doing. Learn from it.
