Have been with PE for several years then 12 months ago changed to a cheaper insurer. On renewal they had increased their premium significantly so did some quotes on comparison websites and PE were cheapest with decent levels of cover.
On checking documentation realised I had made an error and phoned PE, they have a callback system so no hanging on listening to tinny music. Few mins later I received a call and the error was quickly rectified for a small additional premium. Still worked out £70 cheaper than my renewal.
Never had to claim on any of the policies but service and price are good, so fingers crossed if I need to claim.

Went online to get home insurance; filled in details, got quote, accepted it, paid and Hey Presto! I have home insurance - took about 40 minutes. So straightforward I couldn't quite believe it!

This company jst tried to scam me, making rules up to sqeeze more money out of me.
Apparently!!!.. private, off road parking can be twisted into roadside parking.. because i havnt got a designated parking bay!!!..
This insurance company are employing people to pick over your policy.. then making rules up to increase your policy free.. then charged me for cancelling the policy.. even tho i am well within the cooling off period.. shocking

The whole process was very quick easy

Easy to navigate system. Clear information. Fair price (cheaper than existing insurer). Emails providing confirmation, information, timely. So far so good.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever had the misfortune to have dealings with. I have just found out today that I my house and contents have not been insured for the past 7 years !!!!!!!. They took my money every month though, criminal is all I can say. We put a claim in, our first ever claim with them, after months and months of never replying to e mails, being brushed off with "someone will telephomne u back in 48 hours" and then never did. Ultimately after phoning them again to chase this claim, they tell me, oh u are not insured and never have been. The senior member of staff who we finally got to talk to was rude, uncaring and not interested in how serious this situation was. I could go on and on telling everyone how bad this company is and having just read the insurance trade body reviewing their claim process, I was not surprised to find they were at the very bottom in the league table.
I had to give them 1 star but if I had my choice I would give them no star, they are a bunch of incompetent, unprofessional idiots. Be warned do not trust this company with your home and contents, they are beyond bad!!!. BE WARNED
