The art is not legitimate and I always get the wrong frame. The staff was lovely except the auctioneer Lee, he was so rude and condescending. He continuously would say rude things on the mic and speak... See more

Avoid at all costs
As noted by previous reviewers, after sales service is absolutely diabolical. Once they have your money, they really don't care. A case of buyer beware! Please warn elderly family relatives not to pay inflated prices on cruises. I doubt a fraction of the price paid goes to the actual artist.
Our very own Beauty and the Beast it’s stunning
First time for my husband and I purchasing art from Park West Gallery whilst on a cruise with Celebrity Apex sailing from Southampton 24th April-3rd May 25
We visited the Art Gallery and found my favourite artist Thomas Kinkade and couldn’t believe they were selling the Beauty and The Beast Christmas piece of art (my absolute favourite piece)
So my husband made an offer which was excepted and there we were, with our first purchase of Thomas Kinkade.
We were quoted 6-8 weeks for delivery time from Miami, to our absolute delight, it arrived less than 3 weeks later beautifully packaged and protected with its stunning frame.
I can’t praise Park West Gallery enough we are so fortunate to have found it and to say a huge thank you for your care and dedication 5 STARS ++
Bought several times never had an issue
Thanks again Park West.
Once again we purchased artwork from Park West during our cruise on Celebrity Infinity ending 28th March.
Today we received the last two of six packages ( they quote ten to twelve weeks), professionally packaged & beautifully framed.
We have never had a problem with Park West : just lucky I guess!
my name is Frantz Turnier we bought a…
my name is Frantz Turnier we bought a couple paintings from your company with no problems but on 8-2024 we bought love of my life Romero Brito on a cruise the sale lady told me and my wife Nora Turnier that the piece on board would need touch up and if we change our mind we could do it within 15 days ,on 8-20-2024 i spoke to one of your representative name Rene he told me not to worry he would take care of the problem. now Synchrony Bank is telling me that i have to pay the full amount of the art piece were i never received with all due respect is park west and Synchrony bank is in the business of robbing the customers on the ships if that's the case I will write to all the cruises lines and better business bureau to explain to them of ur practice if that dont work I will lawyer up .I give you 30 days to correct this problem .And just to let you known u all could go to hell because i am not going pay a penny for the piece and thats all
Danger Danger Avoid At All Costs.
Purchased a group of paintings for a considerable amount of money in August. Park West then lost the order and invoice for the deposit.
The payments should have started in October through credit card installments.
They said they would start taking payments on 1st February which meant i would not receive the paintings until August which was far to late. They refused to cancel the order initially but now have said i can have a Bid Credit for $4400 and will not return the money. This company does not care about their clients once they have your money. If you go on a cruise do not get fooled by them. Keep well clear and read some of the other poor reviews on this web site.
We’ve had great experiences!
My wife and I have bought many works of art from Park West on cruise ships over the years. The value of the works were never misrepresented, and the artworks were never sold to us as investments. We simply buy pieces we think would look great in our home. They have a very good financing program that makes it doable.
Other than one Matt Beyrer taking much longer than expected to (eventually) arrive, we have never had a problem with our purchases or shipping.
I am not suggesting others haven’t had negative experiences. If I didn’t receive exactly what I had bought from Park West we would stop doing business with them as well. But it’s been nothing but great experiences for us.
Park West Gallery is a thief
Park West Gallery is a thief, a scam. It is totally a robbery. I purchased a painting for a few hundred dollars on a cruise last Christmas, I received a paper photo this February instead. Not the painting I originally saw on the cruise.
Park West is a Scam company
I purchased a painting at one of their land auctions on Sept 18th, 2024. It was intended to be a Christmas gift and I was assured that that I would have it in 8 to 12 weeks. 19 weeks later, well after Christmas and not hearing a word from Park West, I receive an email asking me which
painting I bought. They didn't even have a clue. I explained that I no longer wanted it as it had taken too long. After arguing back and forth, the conclusion was that I would still be charged 15% for the painting $570 even though the painting could be easily resold and probably even marked up more than it originally was.
These practices seem to walk the fine line of legality. I think perhaps the Attorney General in the company's home state should be advised about these sketchy transactions and dealings.
DON'T EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM PARK WEST!!
Park West Fraud. Ibought what was promoted as an…
I bought what was promoted as an original painting at a Park West VIP event. I personally viewed it. I had pictures taken of me with the painting and the artist. I didn’t receive it for 3 months. The painting I received was not the original that I purchased. Park West gave me an incredibly hard time about returning it. They charged me a return fee. I disputed with them numerous times and they refused to refund me. I do not have the painting but I still am being charged over $3000 for it on their credit card. It has been a nightmare. They admitted it was not the same painting I bid on that I received. I am at a loss and they do not help at all..just repeat that they can’t do anything about it. That’s insane..rip off. Never again.
Another good experience dealing with Park West
I purchased another piece of art from Park West after previously purchasing 3 pieces of art from them. This time like the last time the ordering process was smooth and the galleries level of communication was spot on. I’d highly recommend anyone looking for fine art to give them a try.
Deliberate sales pitch confusion in order to sell Art
There is a deliberate sales approach to lead guests to believing their art is worth more than it is and I saw significant confusion among guests thinking they were looking at original, one of a kind art pieces. They NEVER us the word “print” in a deliberate effort to have people think they are buying originals. One associate told me that they were all originals because it there was an original signature on the piece. I said that it is a print. That is not an original. Then she dictated a very rehearsed speech saying “oh you mean unique not original, if the artist signs it then it’s original. I saw many people looking at enhanced giclee prints, thinking that they were original, one of a kind oil paintings from a famous artist. many prints are not numbered so people were thinking they were originals because they didn’t see numbers. Very intentional confusion. I don’t understand how cruise ships allow this.
Norwegian Cruise Sun
Norwegian Cruise Sun. So sexist.... am a male.
Nothing new here from 5 years ago. Appalling art.
53 artists guess what ...only 50 are male... what 3 women?? Art boss was like Wall street..when broached he said ooh we have no room for more... female assistant said we are over saturated with male artists. Ok so what. The boss likes Di Caprio maybe mimics him in Wall st.
SAD
High pressure sales
High pressure sales, false advertising and they do not try to help if your painting gets lost. I ordered a $500 painting and waited all day for fedex because they require a signature. The painting never came and now they're saying I can't get my money back. They're crooks. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this company.
Terrible company
Terrible company. Bought art during a cruise first week of September 2024. Got confirmation that artwork had been received at their facility in Miami Oct 7. Yet as of Dec 5 I have not received anything. They do respond to inquiries via e-mail, but their responses have no useful information. I would think very carefully before doing any business with them.
Stay away!
Stay away!! Complete liars. Purchased a package of 7 pieces, when we received the art, 2 of them were paper posters! Fought for 2 months and got completely hosed. Terrible experience, horrible customer service. Will never buy from them again.
Don't Trust Them
We bought a painting around 4 months ago and have not received it. All it needed was the frame replaced. We purchased 3 other pieces of art, and we received then in around 3 weeks. Every time we call them, we are told they don't know where the painting is, we asked for a refund, and they say because it was purchased at a VIP event it is non-refundable. We have purchased many pieces of art from Park West over the years and this is how they treat us. We will no longer purchase from Park West.
They are very deserving of the horrible…
They are very deserving of the horrible rating they have. If you aren't spending 50k they couldn't care less about you.
Better save your money and don’t buy…
Better save your money and don’t buy anything. The sales people are incompetent and would often lie to your face just to close the sale. ALL the art is way overpriced, you can find it 80-90% cheaper online, especially the masters they sell like Picasso, Rembrandt, Dali etc. There are Facebook groups with thousands of pieces that nobody can resell and people offer them for close to nothing just to get rid of them. Not worth buying anything from a cruise, a land gallery, an online auction or especially their VIP events. Save your money! You’re welcome!
BAIT & SWITCH
BAIT & SWITCH
Their auction on carnival cruise is deceitful and immoral. Constantly stated throughout the auction "framed and shipped at no charge", but that's lies. Also They refused to honor the $100 credit certificate that we won in their raffle.
Shame on carnival cruise lines for perpetuating this con on your guest. Worst cruise ever!! They ruined my vacation.
