Buying kit for my new campervan, Outwells gave lots of choice and a quality product. Light weight and great colour choices. Purchases arrived in great time too.

*STAY CLEAR OF OUTWELL TENTS* Would NOT recommend any Outwell tent after our experience. Went to Cornwall for a camping holiday during half term with our children. The first bit of rain and wind it absolutely poured in through the seams on the tent and 5 poles broke like a warm knife through butter. It ruined everything within the tent including a new electric cool box and power point. We also had to cut our holiday short due to this appalling tent failing on us. The tent wasn't cheap either.

I wouldn't recommend purchasing any Outwell tent due to our experience. They charge an absolute fortune but the quality is absolutely appalling.
If it helps just one family or anyone going through what we have then that makes us feel a happy.

I'm sorry to give this 3 stars only as I have no complaints at all with Outwell and the courier contact GLS. It all went wrong with GLS partner company Parcelforce. My order was sent out immediately on September 1st, going through UK customs September 3rd, and reached Parcelforce national distribution centre Coventry on the 4th. The tracking message then was it was being sent to my local Parcelforce delivery centre which, as I live in East Sussex, is Gatwick. Instead it was sent to Chorley, Greater Manchester. Instead of it going from there directly to Gatwick it was returned to Coventry. It finally reached Gatwick at 2am Saturday 6th where, due to timing and their not being open on Sunday 7th, meant it wouldn't be dealt with until Monday 8th. Come Monday the tracking suggested nothing else had happened. Only at around 1pm did the tracking show it had been received at the Royal Mail default centre, whatever that meant, at 4am and was being delivered 'today'. However, the tracking date hadn't changed so whether 'today' meant Monday or the previous Saturday I couldn't tell. I tried calling Gatwick to see if they could help but hung up after 45 minutes waiting. Fifteen minutes later it arrived. Just as well I was in since otherwise I'd have missed the delivery. I know my delivery was on the fifth working day if Saturdays are excluded but what went on behind it was a shambles. Perhaps Outwell might consider a different delivery company, especially as Parcelforce have a very bad reputation with a 42% 1 star Trust pilot rate.

We bought an Outwell Idaho 5 Air Tent, and are happy with the product when used as a 2 person tent. The compartmentalised design is great, but I can't imagine trying to fit 5 adults into any one of the compartments. Outwell give the tent a "comfort factor" rating of 4 people, but that would be intolerable in the central living space. The tent is full of features and promises real versatility. The one down side is that Outwell provide the "Hooktrack" system on only one air beam, so the idea of the design is completely lost, e.g. you can only hang lights, etc, on one beam, and thus not in the centre of the ceiling.

I purchased two Dreamhaven mattresses
After 18 months and only 10 nights use both are leaking from the air valves

I contacted Outwell via their website to see if I could buy replacement valves
After 1 week I received a reply apologizing for the delay in responding
After another week I sent another message asking for a response
Another week has passed with no reply

I would not recommend purchasing as the valves are not fit for purpose and the poor customer support

I'm really pleased with this tent. It took a while to arrive but I was happy with the fact that it's from Denmark and not China.
It's just as easy to erect as they said. Nice quality, very pleased

Bought a 12V/240v Power cooler I’ve run it on both power supplies and it works well. It’s pulled the initial temperature down from 22 oC to 6 oC quite quickly and maintained that on our car journey. It also does hot cycle and brought the temperature up to 50 oC.
The unit seems quite sturdy and not too noisy when running. Seems a good chiller and does what it’s designed to do.

Haven’t received it yet. It’s taking a long time!

First time buying with Outwell. They were excellent. Replied to my queries promptly and helped out with my delivery-time questions. And I absolutely love their products. Best in the world for camping. Happy customer :)

Very good product, fast delivery!

Quick delivery and love the Formby beach tent! So quick to set up and loads of space.

Put our tent up for the first time in preparation for our first trip away and the elastic within one of the poles snapped. Customer service told us to purchase replacement elastic cord. No offer to do so themselves as a courtesy for supplying shoddy goods. My faith in this tent has been severely eroded already. Should have stuck with Vango.

The cooler works fine but there is some discolouration on the lid.

Excellent quality, easy to assemble and fast delivery. The fremount lake chairs are extremely comfortable and good quality.

All Outwell products are of excellent quality. I have purchased 4 Tetons, two sun loungers, a camping table, two small side tables, a large camping cupboard, a cooler bag and everything is great. BUT I was very disappointed with my intermediate order - I ordered another Berland L camping table from the Outwell website, which I read was resistant to all weather conditions. When I received the table, upon opening the package, I found that it had several defects, without any damage to the packaging, which means that it was not manufactured with quality. The table top was swollen at one end, and the edge along the edge of the table was so crooked, as if it had been done by someone who could do nothing. I immediately took photos and sent them to the Outwell complaints department with a request to return the table and get my money back or a new table. They also asked for photos of the box in which the table was packed. I also sent pictures of the packaging and have been waiting for two days for them to answer me about the procedure for returning the defective product. I really like everything about Outwell and have recommended the products to many of my friends, who were also satisfied. But this time I am disappointed by the poor workmanship of the table and the slow communication with the Outwell team.

They dont answear my emails because of spare part for my chair. It is very very disappointed that i cannot use my chair. That is not a good customer service.
