I had refractive lens replacement…
I had refractive lens replacement surgery 10 months ago. Constant problems after, have developed PCO as a result, with blurred vision. The aftercare is the worst I have ever experienced. They charge £100 per visit and do not want to offer support. They booked me in for an appointment. I arrived and they said there is no appointment. They offer exceptional attention before they get your money. I would avoid at all costs and go elsewhere.

A rip off
I had to cancel a day before my appointment for a family emergency. This still cost me £50 despite the company giving me false hope that I may not have to pay during online communication. No discretion used at all. They ask for your bank details on booking. My own silly fault for giving them.

Great service
I am an optometrist and I came in for consultation at Harley St today. I have to say, my experience has been phenomenal. The staff are absolutely fantastic. Arti, Syma, Yousra were extremely kind and patient and Oliwia was really sweet. My optometrist Nektare was extremely knowledgeable and as a clinician, I feel really really good about the clinical service I recieved.

My experience with OE
I have just had my consultation at Optical Express on Great Portland Street and from the moment I walked in I was treated like a person, not a customer. After I was made comfortable and offered refreshments, I was welcomed (delightfully early btw) by Celine into the room where she very confidently and reassuringly explained the entire process of laser eye surgery and all my options in a way that I could understand perfectly. She was very attentive to my concerns and answered all my questions and turned what honestly could be a nervewracking appointment into a fun but informative sit down where I feel confident to even explain the process to other people myself! She wasn't pushy or 'salesy' which was a breath of fresh air and allowed me to feel comfortable taking my time making what is such a big decision! I was then virtually connected to my optometrist Amrita who was equally as helpful and informative and with people like Celine and Amrita, I can see why so many people choose to proceed with Optical Express! I will definitely recommend them to anyone interested in anything to do with your eyes, I'm sure they'd love a chin wag haha! Amazing experience, dont hesitate to get in touch!
