Had a consultation with the Kendal branch which was brilliant. Really smooth and reassuring appointment with no pressure to book. Secured me a great deal for 4 weeks time. From the initial phone call to my no-obligation consultation today, I have been consistently impressed by the exceptional level of customer service provided by the team in Brighton. They were incredibly accommodating and reassuring in addressing all of my questions. The entire experience was remarkable; the whole team consistently appeared happy to assist and were very attentive. As a result, I have scheduled my surgery for the end of July, and I genuinely cannot express enough gratitude to the team in Brighton. I can assure you that I will be recommending your services to my friends and family in the future. Additionally, the facility is wheelchair friendly.

The team at Leicester were phenomenal in the whole process, from start to finish, giving professional advice and aftercare second to none.
There was a slight hiccup at the Nottingham branch with communication which led to a delay of two weeks in getting surgery, however once the surgery was completed the surgery and their aftercare was great too.
Overall I would rate this whole process 10 out of 10 and wish I’d had it done sooner.
I’ve now got perfect vision better than 20-20 and no longer need glasses or lenses. Superb, 5 Stars from me.

Can't fault my experience at Optical Express, Newcastle. Had laser eye surgery and have been for a number of visits. Extremely well organized, knowledgeable and efficient. On my last visit, I was helped out by Laura, Jess and Dean, all were polite and friendly and just made the whole experience a pleasure.

Firstly, I was not given a mild sedative before treatment even though it had been requested and the surgeon agreed. Secondly, my 4 week check was booked at Leamington Spa, whcih I could not attend. I rang to change the appointment 5 days before to the following Tuesday. I was told it was not possible to change the date until the diary opened 48 hours before i.e. 9 am but that there was definitely an appointment available on that day so I could cancel the Saturday appointment and phone up at 9 am Sunday morning to book the Tuesday appointment as itt could not be booked an earlier. When I called at 9 am, all appointments for the Tuesday had gone. I was unhappy as I had been assured that the 4 week check could be re-booked and was told that it was a new client attending a consultation so that could over-write post-op checks. I feel this is putting potential new business ahead of those who have paid their money and seems cynical and not in the interest of the patient. It would seem that once Optical Express have secured yoyr business, they are not too interested in prioritising paying customers.

I had a great experience with the consultations and aftercare for my LASIK surgery. Alisha, the optician who looked after me, was friendly, professional, and communicated everything clearly, which made me feel comfortable and welcome throughout the process. The care and attention to detail gave me real confidence, and the overall service was of a very high standard. Thank you, Alisha and the team at Plymouth, for making the experience so positive! I can’t recommend this clinic enough to anyone considering LASIK surgery. Highly recommend!

I booked to have cataracts removed. They done all the tests. The day of my surgery I had more tests. Everything seemed ok! Then when the surgeon checked just before the operation. I had a detached retina! and was rushed to Kings College hospital! to save my eye. I didn’t need cataracts removed. Optical Express refunded my money straight away. With all their new machines, not one person noticed or could have checked properly. My appointment was 5.11.2020 for the operation

I have been considering lens replacement surgery for at least 5 years finding excuses to not go forward. I needn’t have worried. As soon as i walked into the Chester clinic, i was met with a friendly smile from Ann who looked after me so well that i was all in within 10 minutes. The team in Chester were amazing and i came away with clarity on appointments, procedures costs and an invaluable booklet of information. Then onto the Liverpool clinic for further eye test and the welcome and professionalism continued at the highest standards. All of a sudden procedure day came round and i went to the Manchester clinic. Again the standard was of the highest level of professionalism and personal care. Everyone is so friendly and looked after me so well in every site and every stage of the process. To cap it all off, i am writing this review 4 days after my procedure, on my phone without glasses. So so so happy i did this and that i chose Optical Express to fulfil my needs
