This service has tremendously helped me to remove my personal information from the data brokers and search engines. I think their service is wonderful and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Outstanding customer service, which is hard to come by in today’s world. Thank you!!!!

So far it's been great. I search for my name and all I find is other people with the same name. Four months ago mine was all over the search results. Now I can even find it when digging. If it stays this good I'll be resubscribbing. Definitely worth the added safety with all of the cybercrime of today. I retired with almost 30 years in I.T, support at all levels. GET IT!

The firm provides feedback on the progress to date and gives details of the sites where exposures exists. This allows the user to do self-removals, which speeds up the process.

Optery found sites I never knew existed.
took me off many sites.
I'm cancelling my Gmail, which allowed all the junk mail and scams.

My data remains exposed on Over 55 data brokers sites despite paying for Optery's Ultimate Plan for over two years now, including giving them Power of Attorney for removals and reaching out to their customer support numerous times on the matter. Their service did manage to get my data off a few hundred sites but as my data remains exposed perpetually on dozens of public data sites, it seems irrelevant that Optery was able to remove some of it. It's worth noting that there are 2x more exposed data sites today (August 2025) than when I first posted this review at the one year mark (July 2024). So I've given them an extra year and ended up worse off. So it's hard not to confirm their removal promises are misleading or at best disappointing.
I've been an Optery customer for about 2 years. This company is a huge part of my peace of mind and quite literally, my physical safety. I'm a clinician, and it's vital that my physical address is hidden from unstable clients. Data brokers make this virtually impossible to do on my own. I found Optery after looking at comparison articles...and have never looked back. My digital footprint used to be out of control, even though I didn't use social media - my address was everywhere. It was a horrible feeling - and for me, quite literally unsafe. Within months of being with Optery, that changed dramatically, and 18 or so months later, there's no trace of me on the web. For me, this is security, this is peace of mind, this is freedom. Optery's customer support is fantastic, and they're also a highly ethical company - they regularly make statements when data broker stuff hits the news, and they stay clear of conflict-of-interest relationships with the data brokers. For me, being an Optery client is also voting with my hard earned money - I want companies that conduct themselves like Optery to thrive. In a wild west digital landscape that laws can't keep up with well, we need Optery's clear, strong ethics and efficacious protection very badly. I'm incredibly relieved to be their client. I've looked at the mediocre and poor reviews here and you can read Optery's responses for yourself. It seems to me the folks who are leaving less than 5 stars may not have enough information on how data removal works. It's not instant, and that's not because of Optery - Optery works as quickly as possible, using tools that are a lot stronger and more sophisticated than anyone else. Data brokers are pernicious and have their own process for letting go of your information; Optery has a system that requires them to let it go as quickly as possible and it takes time for the brokers to respond. That's not on Optery and any removal service encounters data broker resistance. If you don't want data broker resistance, we need to pressure our lawmakers. With Optery, you can trust them to stay on it and get the job done - think of it as a lawyer who goes to bat for you. There is no universe in which a lawyer wins a case within a few hours (though sometimes Optery does, and that's incredible). It's just a normal reality that it takes a little time. For me, that meant there was all the more reason to get Optery sooner rather than later and to let the company go to town on the data brokers throwing all my sensitive information out there. I couldn't be more glad I did.

Optery helps reduce your online data and footprint well for a process that takes too much time to do on your own. Technically, their free plan helps find the site locations for you to remove yourself, but where they make their money is working to contact, remove your data, and ensure it remains removed. Their dashboard excels in showing you their progress understandably and helpfully.
Even though I paid for a yearly plan, removing me from all the sites took a bit too long though. 6 months later I still have some removals in progress. Perhaps this is the norm in the industry.

I've been using Optery for about 2 years now. I have searched for my name everywhere and I can't find it. I'm also getting less spam calls, less spam emails and less physical mail. I know it is working! It takes time but this works!

Operty is a total scam
They only work with made up brokers, that they have a relationship with. They have you sign up for months and never actually remove anything.

Been using Optery for 7 months now and I am very satisfied. Most of my info has been taken off all people's search, and phone number search sites. I have used a few other search removal sites and I find Optery to be the best. Keep up the good work Optery!

Could not find proof my name was removed from any sites but did get a notice about the dark web from my credit agency, was told operty does not deal with dark web issues or hackers

Seems legit to me so far, I just finished 30 day trial with removing me from a ton of websites. We'll see if my scam emails and phone calls go down.
