In all honestly I have not had the greatest experience at first with on the beach. However, a woman called Melissa literally saved my holiday and rectified the company's mistake due to system failure.... See more

Nikki got us a refund after spending one night in a hell hole. She was very quick about it and polite the whole couple of days it took. Thank you Nikki 👏

Poor experience with booking on the beach.
What's meant to be an enjoyable experience booking a holiday, has been extremely stressful. Still no confirmation after nearly 48hrs but being bombarded by emails saying book seats with Ryanair at an extra price even though we have not received a passcode for the airline yet and messaging constantly saying you will miss out on your holiday.
Live chat link non existent, so can't speak to anyone. Will not use again.

On the Beach are great at selling holidays, but terrible when something goes wrong. They moved our return flight forward by six hours, but we couldn't contact anyone to try to move times or days to get that part of our holiday back. Their automated system was useless and didn't help at all.
Once at the hotel we encountered nothing but issues with room doors not locking and safes not working. Our in resort rep refused to help and blamed hotel staff, who in return blamed the rep.
We have attempted to complain, but they pass us back to the hotel and take no accountability.
I would now always pay extra for a human travel agent to book my holiday.
I wouldn't recommend On the Beach to anyone. Absolutely rubbish

Overall it was a nice place to stay.
Let’s start with the positives:
- Good location with easy access to the train/bus station
- Walking distance to the BioParc Zoo & also Miramar Shopping Centre
- Beach nearby, lots of restaurants, pubs, cafe’s, supermarket shops, and shisha bars all near by within walking distance
- The hotel has nice staff that are helpful, the cleaners clean once each day and do a great job, the entertainment staff are lovely to speak to
- The buffet had a variety of food which was lovely
- Really cheap and affordable prices everywhere
The not so positives:
- The hotel being classed as 4 stars is a stretch it should really be 3 stars as it does look slightly outdated
- The room had practically no plug sockets except for the socket for the TV and mini fridge and then just the one in the bathroom so having no where to charge our phones / devices other than the bathroom or by unplugging the tv wasn’t ideal
- You need to pay to use and rent the Safe, I’m not sure if this a popular thing but I’ve travelled a lot and it’s the first time I’ve come across this
- The happy hour should include the pool bar as well
- The pool is small and there aren’t enough lounge chairs given the size of the hotel which is weird given that it’s a “4 star” hotel. You’d expect to be at least 2 pools or one big one but that’s not the case. So it was frustrating having to wait until someone left and quickly trying to find a lounge chair.
Overall I would recommend this place if you want somewhere budget friendly and aren’t too picky with things and if you’re someone that doesn’t mind too much where you sleep as long as your maximising your holiday stay with other things.

Hi have booked a holiday with yourself but when I try to sign up for an account to manage my booking the code I'm sent ,says number is invalid . Have tried numerous times but no luck, please advise
Not best pleased, feel the initial price is to get you in to booking, booked around midnight to recieve a email 5 minutes later saying the price had gone up £6 per person which I accepted and then before confirmation in the morning at 8 recieved another email saying the price had gone up yet again £42 per person which is a lot when there is 8 in my party… so it had gone up twice before I had even got confirmation which is abit poor and funny that love holidays had the same holiday on for the same price that night before (the price I ended up paying that is) I had decided to use on the beach as it was so much cheaper. So slightly annoyed but the booking process was straight forward so I have still given it a 3 star rating “.
From searching for our holiday through to booking the whole experience was straight forward and easy. Managed to get exactly what we wanted at good price. I checked other web sites but found On the Beach the best one for us.

Amazing support.
We had a holiday booked to go to Turkey with our children.
Unfortunately my husband was diagnosed with cancer and we were told that treatment needed to start straight away and flying would not be safe.
We contacted On the Beach and sent over a letter from the hospital team, explaining why we couldn’t travel.
Within an hour of sending the email we received an offer for the full refund! Minus £2.50 per person.
We have got our money back and couldn’t be more grateful with the support this company has provided us.
We would like to thank the On the Beach team again and we will be booking with you again in the future.
Many thanks
Victoria

Definitely not a 5star hotel
great location & site. Gardens immaculate but food is a let down.
Drinks all served in plastic cups (only lobby bar will give you glass and you have to stay there to drink it)
Ice creams is only available a couple hours of the day . No cocktails around the pool .
Main water slide was broken while we was there .
Most random breakfast options every day - roast potato's, rice pudding and soups !

Very easy to book and easy to navigate website. I like you can add bags at the beginning of the search for a true reflection of price, much better than the likes of love holidays!! Cheaper on price compared to Tui, EasyJet and Love holidays.

I tried to get support whilst in resort which was a nightmare. There should be better access to help. I felt me and my family were stranded in a hotel that wasnt up to scratch. Cockroach hotel

As we haven’t yet been I will have to review again on our return, however at this point we are really disappointed that after booking our holiday then wanting to upgrade the very next day to “all inclusive” online (as you can never get to speak to anyone) the stress of trying to get a chat bot to realise you cannot upgrade your board basis without being instructed to change your room type (the very room you have chosen and already paid extra for) then you are going to be charged even more for?
Honestly it is so disappointing that On the Beach do not have a system that allows you to receive a call from a human when clearly your chat messages are clearly not achieving anything.
A holiday is supposed to relax you!

I can't seem to sign in to my account I am using the password I chose but it's not accepting it I have tried to reset it but it doesn't let me can someone help
Explaining my enquiry to a Ai chat was the hardest thing I've ever done. It couldn't understand my problem and I tried to explain multiple times but got no where. In the end I gave up and vowed I wouldn't be using on the beach again
I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately I feel compelled to share my experience.
I booked a package holiday with On the Beach as a single parent travelling with my 9-year-old son. I had saved for several years for this holiday, so it was something we were both really looking forward to.
Unfortunately, the holiday did not reflect the description provided when booking. During our stay we experienced numerous issues, including advertised facilities that were unavailable or unusable, a leaking indoor pool area, spa and wellness facilities that were either closed or not functioning properly, unpleasant sewage-like smells around parts of the resort, poor maintenance of facilities, unreliable Wi-Fi, and a children’s entertainment programme that lacked structure and clear communication.
I reported these concerns while I was away and provided photographic and video evidence. Although On the Beach acknowledged my complaint and increased their offer from £150 to £250, this has still not been reflected correctly in my account, which continues to display a £150 voucher. This has only added to my frustration and has left me with little confidence in how my complaint has been handled.
The most disappointing part has been the complaints process. It has been difficult to communicate with the complaints team, there is no straightforward way to reply to complaint responses, and I have found the process unnecessarily stressful. As I explained to them, I do not intend to book with On the Beach again following this experience, so a voucher is not meaningful compensation. I requested a partial monetary refund instead, but this was refused.
I appreciate that On the Beach did review my complaint and increase their offer, but I don’t feel the final outcome fairly reflects the overall impact the issues had on our holiday or the amount I paid.
As a single parent, this holiday represented years of saving and was meant to be a special break for my son and me. Sadly, the experience and the way my complaint has been handled have left me with very little confidence in booking through On the Beach again and have affected my confidence in booking another package holiday in the near future.
Based on my experience, I would think carefully before booking through On the Beach.
Always book with on the beach but not always in my name as main contact always a great service
