Had a full knee replacement and from the initial consultation to the discharge after surgery every person was friendly, helpful, professional, reassuring, informative and caring. This was an exceptional experience for something that could be so unpleasant

My daughter had laparoscopic surgery to…
My daughter had laparoscopic surgery to remove her gallbladder. When she came back to the ward after her surgery, her blood pressure dropped dramatically and she became very pale and clammy. The nurse in charge of her care laid her flat, her blood pressure began to rise, but was still on the low side. My daughter was monitored regularly by the day shift. My daughter was told that she might have to stay in overnight.
As soon as the day shift handed over to the night shift, a sister came in and told us my daughter could go home.
We were rushed to pack up her belongings and hurried off of the ward.
The following morning my daughter was experiencing a lot of pain and couldn't even stand up.
I telephoned the ward twice, the call was unanswered, just a recorded message asking me to try again later.
The pain seemed to ease after a while, then became really bad again by the evening. I rang the ward 3 times and was told each time that a doctor would ring back. Eventually we had no choice but to go to A&E.
My daughter had blood tests and a CT scan. She had been bleeding internally and was admitted for an urgent blood transfusion.

Terrible Refund Experience
If you’re thinking about booking Nuffield Health’s physio services, just DON’T.
I booked a physio session back in April and later no longer needed to attend. Since I had already paid £79 upfront, I was due a refund. What should have been a simple process has turned into over a MONTH of chasing my own money.
I have now been told at least THREE different times that my refund had been processed or that their credit control team had issued it, yet I am STILL waiting. Every time I follow up, I get reassured that it’s been sorted, but somehow nothing actually happens.
How does it take this long to refund £79?
At this point, I’m about to go into my SECOND month of waiting for money that should have been returned a long time ago. The communication has been poor, the misinformation has been frustrating, and the whole experience has honestly been exhausting.
It should NOT take this much effort to get your own money back.
Nuffield Health, I’d really appreciate an actual resolution because this level of service is unacceptable.
If you’re considering using their physio services, I’d seriously think twice.

Lucky enough to have 2 tremendous support staff who were very patient and helpful. Conor and Erin should be commended for their continued support to all clients as they are the ambassadors for Nuffield at Didsbury. Well done to both
I had minor knee surgery 6 months…
I had minor knee surgery 6 months before I started the joint pain programme at the Nuffield in Chichester. Our trainer Victoria was superb. She really took the time to get to know everyone in the group session. Victoria gave individual advice to everyone in the group, understanding the different symptoms of each and everyone of us. Some of us needed pushing and others needed to do not so much. Victoria is a great motivator and a real credit to the Nuffield.
Joint Pain Course-excellent trainer Roshan
I attended the 12 week Joint Pain course at Friern Barnet Nuffield. The personal trainer who ran the course-Roshan was excellent. Roshan is a good listener and listened to all participants and adjusted exercises to take account of individual needs.
My shoulder pain has reduced since completing the course and I will continue to do attend gym and do exercises I learned on the course.
Would highly recommend the course and Roshan as a trainer.
Hip Replacement Surgery at Nuffield Bournemouth
I recently had hip replacement surgery at Nuffield Bournemouth. My surgeon was Mr Michael Kent. I can't speak highly enough of Mr Kent. From the first meeting, everything was explained to me to make an informed decision. On the day itself, Mr Kent's calm manner made me feel at ease and confident I'd made the right decision. Also, I found all the nursing staff on duty on 13th / 14th May to be superb. I also found the physio support to be excellent. I can't remember his name but remembered he was Italian. He was so encouraging to help me get mobile again. Massive 'thank you' to all the staff at the Nuffield Bournemouth.
This company is a scam, do not engage with them,
This company is a scam. After cancelling my membership over a year ago, they tried to recollect it without authorisation, and have no sent my details to a debt collection agency.
You can’t write it.
Nuffield Northampton is run by clowns.

Knee replacement surgery - I recently had knee replacement surgery…
I recently had knee replacement surgery at the Nuffield in Clifton ( Bristol) this was my second attempt as on the first occasion I became very unwell whilst waiting to go to theatre. I had a stress related migraine, so with the help of my consultant ( Mr K Shahid) and my anaesthetist we decided to postpone the procedure. I only had to wait a few weeks for another date and Mr Shahid made sure I was first on the theatre list that day to reduce my time worrying. It worked perfectly ….. everyone from booking in to discharge was amazing !! My consultant was professional and extremely knowledgeable - he explained everything and was a genuine caring person . I would highly recommend him to anyone considering surgery. He also made time to visit me twice following the procedure before discharge and I only stayed in overnight !! The care I received from the anaesthetist ( can’t remember his name ) was also amazing , he also visited after the procedure. The room was well equipped and very comfortable - the staff attended lots of times during my stay and were all very friendly, professional and caring. Would just like to mention Wendy and Jo ( nursing team ) who were very caring and helped with everything from pain management to personal hygiene care, two physios I had , who got me up and around on crutches !! Finally would like to thank Jim from catering - he was such a ray of sunshine and nothing was too much trouble - food was extremely good too.
Thank you Nuffield Bristol !!!
Avoid the swimming lessons.
Avoid the swimming lessons.
They are terribly managed and after my last lesson, I decided to cancel my lessons due to the teacher not turning up and me being told that I didn't have a lesson even though I had confirmation with 2 remaining lessons.
Since then it has been even worse. I have had to chase and chase to get the refund, I then only got part of the refund and they are now not getting back to me with the remaining amount. I have spent far too long chasing as this has been going on since February but I will not allow Nuffield to steal my money.

I had my surgery at Parkside Hospital Wimbledon. I’m so grateful I chose to have the surgery there.

Joint Pain Programme
I have just completed my 12 weeks on the Joint Pain Programme and am feeling a lot stronger and fitter.
Our instructor was Varsha . She took note of our particular joint problems and made sure that we did exercises that would support mobility and strength.
The programme also speaks about diet and the importance of eating foods that would support muscle
growth and fitness,.
An enjoyable and educational experience.
Breast cancer treatment
Throughout my treatment, the care that I received was wise, caring and compassionate. I had great confidence in the expertise of the Oncology team.
An Isolating and Uncaring Overnight Experience
Communication throughout the stay was minimal and impersonal. Staff carried out the necessary tasks but made very little effort to make me feel reassured, informed, or cared for. Once the sleep equipment had been fitted, I was effectively left alone for the entire night with almost no human interaction whatsoever.

LONG TERM CONDITION PROGRAMME
LONG TERM CONDITION PROGRAMME
This is a specific review about the Long Term Condition programme at Nuffield Health. For me, it has been a great experience and of great benefit to my health. I am 77 years of age and was introduced to the programme by my GP surgery as I have some long standing back problems and developing arthritis. The programme is run over 24 weeks - the first 12 being devoted to teaching various excecises with two sessions weekly and the next 12 as graduates with one session every week. I have just finished my 24 weeks.
I found all the staff at the gym very friendly and polite, ever ready to help with problems. The trainers running the programme are excellent, patient with all the participants and pointing them in the right direction. While each individual has an individual problem, the whole programme is designed to help with the overall health benefits for all. It may or may not resolve an individual issue, but the overall benefits are just brilliant. Considering the issues I had at the start of my programme, I have found that I can manage my back problems a lot better than I was able to. I had pains in my shoulders (especially the clavicle bones) and these have disappeared. 'Restless leg syndrome' too has gone. Arthritis in the right hip has grown worse, but I still sleep a lot better. I have a problem with my ankles and balance, but this has certainly improved. Overall, I feel a lot better and feel positive about life.
I believe that you couldn't ask any more of the programme. I have also been informed that LTC Programme is available through all GPs, but there may be a waiting list. So why wait? Suggest you ask your GP for a referral

Huge thank you to I think her name is Lianne Bolton on the MRI unit Ipswich for helping me through my scan - I was very apprehensive prior to this scan and she came into the room and talked me through the exam. I don't think i would of be able to do this without her support - thank you
Bloomsbury branch - very helpful staff
re: Bloomsbury branch
My query was dealt with professionally and courteously. One assistant called Elie was particularly helpful - very generous with her time seemed to genuinely care about my needs. Very impressed.
