Cost was much better than airalo (used last year in France - I didn't need unlimited GB). Mostly 4g (don't know if I ever got 5g service), but was in the mountains mostly. Sometimes service was slow... See more

Internet was very easy to install
Internet was very easy to install, but I thought was faster, some times internet was not very good.
China eSIM
The service was fairly reliable and it’s helpful to not be subject to the great firewall in China and not need a VPN. At times I noticed locals around me getting service when I did not. Both times I left and re-entered China, it took a long time for the service to reconnect. This is very inconvenient and stressful because one of the times you need service most is getting from your plane to your hotel. I’m not sure how to fix this, maybe an offline troubleshooting page in the app or instructions like that in the intro email? You can’t call customer service about not having service when you don’t have service.

USA esim worked a treat!
USA esim worked a treat all over Florida. Hot-spot used for my better half with no issues. Will definitely purchase again.
Easy to use and good

Quick and Easy
Easy and fast installation. I used wifi to pay for the esim during my layover in Manila and it work immediately when I got off the plane in New York. I had no coverage issue.
Poor coverage, constant disconnections, and no real customer support
I had a very disappointing experience with Nomad eSIM. The internet connection was extremely unreliable and kept disconnecting throughout my trip. When I traveled from one state to another, the eSIM completely stopped working.
I tried contacting customer support, but I couldn’t reach a real person. The responses were only from an AI chatbot, which was unable to solve my problem. Because of this, I had no choice but to purchase another eSIM from a different provider.
I cannot recommend this service if you need stable internet while traveling. Reliable connectivity and real customer support are essential, and unfortunately, Nomad failed in both areas.

A trip to China and used Nomad
A trip to China and used the Nomad e-Sim with very simple documented configuration before leaving the UK, landed in Beijing and enable the e-Sim and worked perfectly for our 28 day trip around the country. An e-Sim is essential in China as mobile payments require a network connection. Many retailers only take AliPay or WeChat. Also to use Facebook or Google services you will require an e-Sim or VPN as these are blocked in China.
It was terrible in UK
It was terrible in UK. It didn’t work in the area we stayed ( Bath, Bristol and London) which were major cities and it was constantly SOS. Very disappointed.
