Poor coverage, constant disconnections, and no real customer support
I had a very disappointing experience with Nomad eSIM. The internet connection was extremely unreliable and kept disconnecting throughout my trip. When I traveled from one state to another, the eSIM completely stopped working.
I tried contacting customer support, but I couldn’t reach a real person. The responses were only from an AI chatbot, which was unable to solve my problem. Because of this, I had no choice but to purchase another eSIM from a different provider.
I cannot recommend this service if you need stable internet while traveling. Reliable connectivity and real customer support are essential, and unfortunately, Nomad failed in both areas.

A trip to China and used Nomad
A trip to China and used the Nomad e-Sim with very simple documented configuration before leaving the UK, landed in Beijing and enable the e-Sim and worked perfectly for our 28 day trip around the country. An e-Sim is essential in China as mobile payments require a network connection. Many retailers only take AliPay or WeChat. Also to use Facebook or Google services you will require an e-Sim or VPN as these are blocked in China.

It was terrible in UK
It was terrible in UK. It didn’t work in the area we stayed ( Bath, Bristol and London) which were major cities and it was constantly SOS. Very disappointed.

In France
In the Paris suburbs, the connection is very unstable and keeps dropping out. When it is connected, it works well. There is only one provider: SFR.

The service is good
The service is good, but getting the eSIM to work can be a bit of a challenge. I was connected to a support agent in the UK, and I was able to get it working by following their instructions. However, for someone who isn't very familiar with how eSIMs work, the process wouldn't be very user-friendly.
