Delivery men don’t ring the doorbell

Hermes keeps dropping messages into my post box instead of ringing the doorbell. It’s very annoying because I keep having to go to Hermes to pick it up. Pay your delivery ppl. better so that they don’t have to rush and leave messages to save time instead of actually delivering the parcel

Everything that could go wrong went wrong

Everything that could go wrong, went wrong first, the courier claimed. I refused the package despite him never even ring my doorbell as a result of which or must decided to send my package back to the UK to the person who sent it only after spending five hours on the telephone with her message did I get them to retry the delivery then they tell me it’s gonna get delivered on a date it’s now been two weeks. Still haven’t received my parcel. The communication is atrocious. Good luck trying to get an answer out of the people on the hotline, the order tracking is I guess at best it seems so. Yeah I would stay very far away.

In germany

In germany, hermes is incapable of bringing packages to your address, either they cannot find the address because the drivers are blind or they dont have legs or arms to bring it to you. I blame hermes for underpaying their employee for them to pull this "cant find address" move!!

Received someone else's package instead of mine

I was expecting a delivery day today from FedEx. I received a notification that it will be delivered from Hermes. Today, the Hermes delivery man came and tried to deliver a package for someone else to me, but I told him it wasn't my package and it clearly has someone else's name on it and it was a very small brown envelope without any FedEx logo. I refused delivery.

This is the second time FedEx/Hermes has done this to me. FedEx switches to a lower-quality delivery service once it arrives in the country after customs processing, and this causes confusion between FedEx and Hermes, and Hermes has a lower quality of service.

Now I must assume that FedEx/Hermes might have also delivered my package to the wrong address, who knows what that person will do with it.

Shold change the name to "Germs"

These guys have no idea about their own business. I don´t know if it´s a archaic ancient German managing the business or if their main business is something else like "gardening" and the courier service is just a diversification, but they have a divine gift of screwing every single delivery. They are completely lost in their own burocracy and process. A case to be studied.

Hermes Germany is by far the worst…

Hermes Germany is by far the worst delivery company I’ve ever dealt with. Their service is pathetic, their so-called “customer support” doesn’t exist and their robot system is a joke. It’s nearly impossible to reach anyone for real help.

Every time my delivery goes through Hermes, it ends in delay, frustration or no delivery at all. This company seriously needs to fix its system it’s a total waste of time and trust.

Hermes is an absolute nightmare.

Hermes is an absolute nightmare.

They claim to have delivered my package “to a neighbor,” but no one rang, and nothing was delivered. I was home the entire day.

This isn’t the first time either — the last time their courier came after 11 PM and just dropped the package in front of my door like it was a bag of trash.

Hermes is the worst delivery company in Germany. They lose packages, mark them as “delivered,” and expect customers to just deal with it.

Never again. If I see a store uses Hermes, I don’t order.

Hermes kept my parcel for 12 days and delivered in wrong place

Hermes kept my parcel for 12 days because the chosen pickup point was closed — and they didn’t give me any option to change it.

Then, after all that waiting, they just dumped the parcel in a random shop on the opposite side of Munich.

No notification, no choice, no logic. Just “wait and deal with it.”
Completely unreliable service — zero flexibility and zero communication.

Never delivered

My packet was just delivered to someone other.
I was complaining with them several weeks and they didn't admit that.
No information provided about who is receiver.
My advice: Always avoid to use this service if possible.

HEMES delivery service is by far the…

HEMES delivery service is by far the WORST delivery company I have ever used. They came to my address on Monday while I wasn’t home (because of an appointment), and instead of telling me where to pick up my parcel, I kept getting daily emails and texts saying I wasn’t at home.

I stayed HOME for THREE DAYS waiting for my packages, and what do they do? THEY RETURN IT BACK. Completely incompetent, disrespectful, and unreliable. Avoid this service at all costs!

Dreadfully unreliable company!

Dreadfully unreliable company!
Been waiting TWO days for a delivery . The courier is „economical with the truth“ when filing his report.
First „delivery attempt „ was 21.43 . I was home!
Second attempt was allegedly at 12-13hrs.
Again I was home.
Next time I want DHL!!

Hermes is an international company and they can't even provide service in English xD

They are really bad at their work, basically they hire lazy and unqualified people. They reject to speak English even if they are an international German company. They only speak German, they can't speak any other languages. Service is really really really bad. I called them 6 times in the last 1 month because they sent my package to wrong city in Sweden so they sent it back to Germany. My items in the package were worth of €8000 and there were my documents in it. If they won't re-send my package to me, I will seek for fining them through law. Just do not prefer Hermes for your packages. Their attitude is genuinely frustrating and they will probably fail delivering your package. Funny thing is that Hermes is an international company and they can't even provide service in English xD

The worst delivery service ever

The worst delivery service ever! When I get message that my parcel was shipped with Hermes, I already brace myself for the hell coming. Always few days late because “address is wrong”, never updatr the tracking and only send message the same day as the delivery which is too late already, nobody responding in their “customer service”. I have been dealing with lost package right now because of their oncompetency.

Hermes could be a symbol of everything…

Hermes could be a symbol of everything that's wrong with Germany. Delivery drivers neither speak German or English, probably came here after 2015 and have a work attitude that, at least, lacks some sense or urgency. Not one single time I get an order delivered by them, never voluntarily, something's off. Either it's delayed for days or weeks, or it gets tossed in the hallway the second I let them in the building. God beware if I ever got something delicate delivered....

The worst company I’ve ever seen

The worst company I’ve ever seen, if I could give zero starts I definitely would. I’m waiting for my package which couldn’t be delivered because no one was home, we tried to contact them and ask for other delivery options but we just didn’t receive any response. So we just decided to change the delivery date(it was the only one option in the app) to Saturday because everyone will be home and will be able to receive this damn package and guess what? They changed it to Monday WITHOUT a reason. I am so pissed off because it’s a really important package which should’ve been delivered already on Tuesday and now we need to wait even longer. The organization is at its worst, delivery man are the worst without any understanding how to talk to people and how to deliver packages right way(I mean if there’s a sticker „carefully glass“ and they’re throwing it like a football ball cmon). The worst of the worst.

Not a single time was a package…

Not a single time was a package delivered on time, or at the correct address. Each time the package is delayed by at least a day or two. Which would be fine if it was actually then delivered to the correct address but no, it’s usually left at an abandoned house that is two minutes away from where I live. This time the package is absolutely nowhere in my neighborhood. I have driven around and walked around everywhere. A few times packages are sent to the package shop, but at least I’m able to pick them up then and know where they are. Customer service is useless. You tell them that a package was delivered to the wrong address and they literally respond with something like “the driver said it was delivered to the right address.” Like OK cool does the driver have any proof of this because I have taken photos of both where I live and where the package was actually left. Also, why are you trusting them over the customer? And at the very least they could apologize for the inconvenience, but no. I try and tell everywhere that I order that I don’t want things delivered with Hermes, but sometimes it happens. Can’t wait until I live somewhere where Hermes is not an option. DHl, DPD, Amazon - all have zero problems delivering things to the house, only Hermes sucks. Plus one time when a package went lost and I told Amazon so I could get a refund (of my like 20 euro order of cat food) probably because they delivered it to the wrong address. They sent the driver to my house and he actually threatened me. He barely spoke German or English but that time he showed up with like three or four people yelling at me about how I was costing him his job. Interesting how he could find my house then but not when he had to deliver something. It’s just so ridiculous I can’t believe it’s even true but I lived it so 🤷‍♀️😩 It’s not my fault if you don’t deliver packages to the right place. Stop being awful Hermes please. K thanks.
