My small move was excellent. Communication great, the two guys who did the move were wonderful- phoned prior to arrival, were quick and efficient and polite. Would definitely use them again!

I had a very mixed experience with Movee. The removalists themselves were friendly, efficient and did a great job. However, they are merely contractors to Movee who act as a booking agent. Movee repeatedly advised they have no hidden fees and it was only $150 per hour with a minimum 2 hours, nothing more. From arrival to departure, the move took 5 hours and 5 minutes, yet I was charged for 7 hours, plus an extra $225 travel time, plus an extra 10% service fee, plus a steep credit card surcharge. I calculated I should have been charged no more than $825, but I was charge $1428! I called their account department, who pointed to some fine print in an email I received post the booking, and they admitted they had charged me an extra 1.5 hours and will receive a refund within 24 hours. 5 days later, still no refund.
Beware of hidden fees, and know that you are dealing with a booking service who outsource the removalist service.

I had a disappointing experience with Movee and would not use them again.
I was contacted via an email campaign offering a 10% discount, as I had previously made enquiries during an earlier move. I responded and booked both packing and moving services, paying deposits for each.
When I asked for confirmation, the booking dates were wrong. I requested corrections, but the revised confirmation still showed incorrect dates. Eventually I received a reply where the dates appeared to be manually edited in the email itself, rather than coming from their booking system. This did not inspire confidence.
I also asked about the advertised 10% discount. I was told the pricing already reflected the discount, but there was no clear evidence or breakdown showing this.
Shortly after booking, I received repeated calls from the same company encouraging me to purchase moving insurance, which required full upfront payment. I asked for time to consider, but they called again before the agreed time to follow up.
At this point, due to concerns about professionalism and reliability, I decided to cancel both services via email. After waiting about a week without confirmation, I had to follow up again before receiving cancellation confirmation.
Despite this, just two working days before the scheduled packing date, I received an automated reminder email as if the service was still active. I then had to contact them yet again to ensure the packing service was actually cancelled.
Overall, the experience was disorganised and undermined my confidence in their ability to manage something as important as a house move.

We needed a move at short notice. They called us back almost immediately after out online enquiry. Outlined everything. Called on the day prior to arrival and everything went very smoothly. This service was very easy to use. I would use them again.

THE WORST moving experience I have ever had (and I'm a seasoned mover)!
Do not use this company, ever.
The communication was fantastic until the booking was made, but it was abysmal from then on. Having heard nothing for weeks since booking, I emailed Movee 10 days before our date to confirm, but still heard nothing back from them. So I called and emailed again. I only got confirmation 48hrs before our date! Stress.
Then, they sent a team from Melton to our place in South Gippsland. Not local at all (as they advertised).
So we started late. Then they sent a truck which was too small and could only take half our stuff. The subcontractors said they could come again the next day for a cash/reduced price, but this wasn't acceptable and caused an enormous amount of stress.
The men who came then didn't know how to properly disconnect the washing machine and caused the laundry to flood. They left the tap running, put a bucket underneath and closed the cabinet door ready to walk away. My daughter saw it, and when I approached them, 1 blamed me for not turning off the mains properly! (Which I had done, but then I went into the laundry and simply turned off the tap properly!)
Meanwhile, I had to frantically ring around for another company, and found one last minute... amazing. But stressful!
While the Movee subcontractors were still in transit, I received multiple phone calls from 2 people in the office, and the subcontractors, demanding that I pay before my belongings were delivered. Total harassment! And more stress. I paid, thinking "they're not going to deliver my stuff otherwise", and I was honestly getting ready to call the Police.
At delivery, they damaged a wooden table, and bashed my new walls when coming through doorways.
And they were slow to load up and then unload!
All up, A TOTAL SCAM! Please never hire these people. And reputable movers; please don't sign up with these con artists!

Communication wise, this has got to be the worst moving company I've ever worked with. 3 days I waited for my things to be moved out. 3 days of back and forth calls, pushing back work to meet YOUR time frame, only for you to tell me you're going to be here 2-3 hours later than OUR AGREED TIME. I told your team so many times I couldn't move on Australia Day, and even told you to keep the deposit because I wanted nothing to do with you people, yet you talked me into a minimal discount, which I should've just declined and walked away without, but the staff member quite literally sat there on the phone repeating "pls maam pls no we pick new day and give discount." Then over the span of 2 days, I've got your team all calling and messaging me to see what the plan is as if I haven't already discussed it with one of you, and you haven't communicated the new time and date of the move with each other. Constantly calling your office to ask for an update when you were 2-3 hours late, to get radio silence. Having to leave my apartment to rush to work, only for you guys to call me and say "we're on the way now" when you should've been there hours ago. Only pro from this entire thing, was that the move was swift. You guys tried to charge me full price, after we agreed on a discount for your tardiness. 350$ PLUS 50$ deposit for just under 2 hours is OUTRAGEOUS and WASNT the agreed price. Had I not been extremely overwhelmed and just wanting you out of my house, and off my phone with the constant calls I wouldn't have paid you at all. DONT hire these people if you're western Sydney based. Their final call to me was 30 minutes ago "maam pls give good review, I'll stay on the line while u do it, takes 3 seconds". The sheer audacity. Here's your good review, have the day you deserve.
