Apparently, Millets don't like customers who use cash!
I took some walking trousers back for a refund as when I got home, I realised I had bought the wrong style. At first the assistant was happy to help but then informed me that as I'd paid cash, he couldn't give me a refund as there wasn'tenoughmoney in the till!. He didn't suggest away around this so I if they had a pair of the trousers I had intended to buy. He did so I said I'd take them and have the difference back as change. He asked me wait a moment went out the back, returned and told me he still couldn't refund the difference. I pointed out I was wearing my work clothes, which indicated I also work in a shop and am well aware, there would be more than enough in the till to cover the difference. He then said he didn't want his banking to he out this evening.. I was lost for words. I asked him what I was meant to do and explained I wasn't happy, at which point he relented and gave me the difference.. You need to work on your customer service. Appalling... Sadly, moving forward I will be going to another retailer for my outdoor gear.

Wanted a larger size in a top for sale in the shop. Assistant very helpful, he checked if a larger size was available. Told me how easy it would be to have the top by the following day. Top arrived the next day. Excellent

Friendly helpful staff
Friendly helpful staff. Good range of gloves in store - including for small women's hands. Although I did have to go to the men's section to get the ones I wanted. Put them all together in one place would be most helpful.

Friendly informative staff
I went to buy a sleeping bag and was assisted by a man named Ryan, he was very informative and helpful. I didn't know much about different sleeping bags and he explained it all clearly and politely.
