Exceptional Experience at MCAN Health – Istanbul, Turkey

My name is Faisal, and on April 13th I underwent a major facelift procedure with Dr. Dundar, including a neck lift, lower eyelid surgery, and lower eyelid rejuvenation at MCAN Health in Istanbul, Turkey.

Before making my final decision, I researched and contacted several hospitals and cosmetic surgery centers in South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Shanghai and Egypt. After careful consideration, I chose MCAN Health in Turkey — and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

From the very beginning, the entire process was organized professionally and with great attention to detail. My coordinator, Arda, was excellent. He arranged everything smoothly and ensured that my appointments and travel arrangements were convenient and stress-free.

About a week before arriving in Istanbul, I was contacted by Sara, who became my main point of communication throughout the entire journey. She explained every detail clearly, answered all my questions promptly, and remained in constant contact from the moment I landed in Istanbul until the day of my surgery and throughout my recovery. Her care, kindness, and professionalism made me feel safe and supported at all times.

I traveled to Turkey alone without any companions, but honestly, I never felt alone or in need of an escort. The medical team, nurses, drivers, and support staff took exceptional care of me throughout my stay.

Dr. Dundar is truly an outstanding surgeon. His professionalism, experience, calm demeanor, and attention to detail gave me great confidence before the surgery. His assistant, Harun, and the nursing staff were equally remarkable and provided exceptional care during my recovery.

Even after surgery, I was monitored closely and supported continuously. I was comfortable enough to enjoy walking and light hiking during my stay before leaving Turkey.

The level of care, hospitality, professionalism, and patient support I received cannot truly be expressed in just a few lines. MCAN Health exceeded my expectations in every aspect.

My Surgeon was Dr Dundar, he is a very knowledgeable and kind, and will advise honestly on what is best for your specific face for the best outcome.
The hospital was clean and the nursing staff were very professional, even though some of them spoke little English.
The care from the MCAN Nurses was excellent. I would like to mention Cansu, and Ece. They both are very caring, compassionate, and professional nurses.. also Sara my main contact who's been looking after me from the beginning to present,has been a blessing she has been very supportive, caring and professional. She goes above and beyond. She is a great asset to MCAN, as well as Arda my case manager, who organised everything for me.
You won't have to worry about anything when your there, MCAN take care of everything, from driver's, to Nurses, to appointments.
The hotel the holiday Inn, staff very friendly and helpful. The food, the people, places Instanbul is a beautiful place.☺️

My results are lovely and I’m very pleased altogether.
The surgeon was knowledgeable and courteous. The hospital was clean and professional.
The aftercare nurses were efficient and friendly. They all spoke good English.
The hotel was great too.
The recovery was longer than expected but I got there in the end. ‘Trust the process’ as they say. I have booked my next surgery in October, tummy tuck and breast augmentation with MCAN as well as I have a lot of trust in them now.

The surgeon is very skilled and friendly . Nurses are really friendly and passionate.

Had a couple of hair transplants here now. Got 4000 grafts on the front of my head in 2022 and just managed to get back to get the crown done. Great service and very knowledgeable would definitely recommend.

What i have to say about Mcan this end of March beginning of April was my third time having treatment with Mcan this last one i had done a dental treatment.

Sara has been my nurse throughout all my post-operative process with Macan, and she has truly been wonderful. She has been incredibly professional, attentive, and kind at all times. She made me feel comfortable and well cared for every single day. Without a doubt, I would absolutely request her again as my nurse. Highly recommended.

At first, I was a bit nervous about getting this procedure, but the communication was of a high standard from the first moment to the to the aftercare. All the staff were really helpful and friendly and very professional. The surgery was impeccably clean and to the highest of standards and all the people were lovely. Facilities & Care
The clinics themselves were beautiful and very modern. My hair transplant at ALANA felt high-end and professional, and the dental care really stood out to me. I appreciated that the providers focused on preserving my natural teeth instead of pushing unnecessary treatments. Communication was also never an issue—they spoke excellent English, and I always felt understood.

Hilal was honestly one of the best parts of the experience. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and supportive the entire time. What could have been a stressful trip felt comfortable because of her. By the end, it felt like I had someone genuinely looking out for me, not just coordinating logistics.

Istanbul
Outside of appointments, Istanbul itself was amazing—beautiful, historic, and full of incredible food. It made recovery feel more like an experience than just a medical trip.

Overall, I would absolutely recommend MCAN Health and would return again in the future.

I cant pretend to know the standard for cosmetic surgery but what I can say is after researching countless clinics for a hair transplant and finally finding the one for me I then had a family friend get in contact with me and recommend mcan instead and im thankful they did.

I was nervous about complications in travel or being just another head in the door but mcan was there every stage of the way and honestly it was an easy experience from start to finish and im excited for the results.

My experience with MCAN was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I discussed my requirements for my teeth to arriving in Istanbul the service they provided was second to none. Cansu, was amazing in helping me with all aspects of my trip and surgery and she was absolutely professional in her approach and made me feel totally at ease and kept me informed of all the procedures information. My experience was brilliant and the surgery was amazing, I’ve finally got my smile back! I would only recommend MCAN as an option for hair transplants and teeth surgery as they have been brilliant on both of my visits. I cannot speak more highly of MCAN. From beginning to end of my experience was well organised, very profession. We are picked up from the Istanbul airport, taken to the hotel and everything after that is all finely organised, you don't beed to think or worry about anything else from that point on, whether you're havibg face surgery, body, hair or teeth procedures are all taken care of, you are always picked up and taken to your appointments and then followed by the procedure that you have come for. The surgeons are top class, very attentive to your concerns and will advise honestly on what is best for your specific face for the best outcome. You are also given your own nurse who will walk with you through all the after surgery healing. I was so impressed with the care my nurse Sara gave me, she and all the nurses were very caring and profession at all times. And it doesnt end when you finally leave to return home as if you have any complications, help or questions you still have one year to be in contact with your dictor. So all in all I highly recommend MCAN for a safe and worry free experience, not to mention that the cost is a quater of any western country.

I had a wonderful experience with Mcan . From my first point of contact with Arda, (fluent English) He then put me on a group chat for my procedures whereby I could chat with others, pre-op & post op to also gage results from those that didn’t want the world to know on social media. I found out vital information before committing myself to anything. Also lots of privately shared befores and afters.
After suffering really bad menopause I was left with deflated skin.
I went alone and met with others there at the same time that I had previously got to know through the community chat group. The main reason I chose Mcan was because of the community chat as it showed transparency, helping me make my own informative decision.
The Doctors ,MCan Nurses, drivers, were always so caring . I cannot fault my experience.

I was met by a lovely driver who took me to my hotel
Then in the morning I was taken to the hospital by the driver and my nurse called nursena who was such a lovely girl in fact all the MCAN nurses were wonderful they really look after me all the way though my procedure
My surgeon was amazing and very talented
I was then taken back to hotel to start to recover and every day a nurse came to my room to change my dressings
I am now 30 days post op and still in regular contact with MCAN Health wanting updates on how my healing is progressing which is very reassuring.
So I can't recommend MACAN Health enough

I was lured in by their smiles, promises, and “all-inclusive” discounts. But let me tell you the truth: they are liars, greedy, and ruthless. They claim discounts for one or multiple surgeries—but if you change your mind and do fewer, they completely take it away. They act like friendly shopkeepers… until they get your money. Then, they turn into total predators.

My forehead lift was botched. Persistent swelling. Foreign material under my skin that broke down. Pain, stress, and lies everywhere. Dr. Alhan? Shockingly unprofessional. MCAN manager, Friendly until the money is in—then he doesn’t care at all. Overcharging, ignoring emails, postponing responses for months. Their only interest is your money, nothing else.

I am now seeking legal action against the doctor, the manager, and the clinic. My time, money, and trust were stolen.
If you value your health, money, and sanity, stay far away. MCAN Clinic is deceitful, incompetent, and will ruin your self-esteem and finances. Don’t be fooled by their fake smiles—they are dangerous.

MCAN team is extraordinary group of people, they exceeded my expectations.
Everything went smoothly from the initial enquiry until I got home. Team takes care of your needs, takes into consideration if you have special health conditions.
Well organised and prompt people.
Staff is kind, knowledgeable and responsive. When you pay for your package they will take care of everything.
Big bonus for the hotel with 24hr kitchen.
Drivers are nice and respectful with you.
Clinic is well equipped and clean. There is a real doctor on the clinic who oversees the processes.

I choose Mcan having done nearly 12 month of research for my DPFL & NL, I also had arms reduction. My surgeon was Dr Dundar who was brilliant.
