I am not usually inclined to leave company reviews, but my experiences with Mailboxes Etc. Ruislip deserves recognition. I have used their services on several occasions, and each time the customer service has been exceptional. Most recently, earlier this week, I was assisted by Alec, who went above and beyond to resolve an issue that was outside the scope of the service I had requested. His professionalism, dedication, and cheerful manner ensured the matter was handled smoothly. The final delivery was carried out with care and a smile. Thank you for consistently outstanding service.

I contacted MBE to arrange for an auction lot to be collected and posted to me. I asked for an estimate before the auction, and knowing that this was possible, I went ahead with bidding and won the auction.
All communication was prompt and relevant. My item was wrapped securely and professionally, with no risk whatsoever of damage in transit. The receipt from the auction was also included in the box, which I hadn't thought to check about and ask for.
I hadn't known about MBE before, but would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others. Thank you.

The shipping process at Mailbox in Farringdon Road was excellent and the service & support provided by Ling over the next 5 weeks was above & beyond the norm. What was wrong my 5 day delivery turned into 5 wks.Italian UPS got in touch with my sister eventually & told her he couldn’t deliver it to her home. Arrangements were made by driver to drop parcel in a Grocers in Camaoire. When she went there on arranged date - no parcel. In contacting driver again he said there was money due but didn’t know how much & would ring her the next day. Before that Ling very kindly looked into the matter providing us with amount due & a link to pay it online. Why I have to pay duty on what is a gift to my sister for Xmas I can not understand. Anyway my sister paid online & let driver know & another date arranged. When she visited Grocer no parcel again. On checking with the driver “his van had broken down”. At this point she insisted that he brought parcel to her door which he should have done in the first place & she could have handed over payment there & then. It is completely ridiculous the amount of time my sister & I & Ling at Mailbox have had to put into the delivery of one small parcel. It has put me off from sending any further parcels by UPS/FEDEX or DHL. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE ITALIAN DELIVERY SYSTEM?

Being a slightly complicated order - pick-up of some antique works won over auction from a location in the Isle of Wight and delivery first to Portsmouth, and then onwards to me in Mumbai, India, I was initially skeptical of how this could be accomplished.

With an intermediary courier, this took some time, as we had to wait until the person was able to go pick it all up, but communication was consistent, and after all was said and done, the package reached me in very good order.

I would highly recommend utilizing the experience of MBE Portsmouth, and the diligent correspondence / updates from their team member Ansa.

After being let down by a large online company it was great to pop in to the Borehamwood branch and manage to source just what I needed quickly with no delays, clear instructions for what I needed and great communication. Helpful staff, with nothing to much trouble. Will definitely use again.

I purchased two small prints in a recent Sheffield auction. I paid for them during the evening of 12 November. The following day I ordered, received and accepted a quotation from Mailboxes Etc.. The company uplifted my prints, packed them securely and despatched them on 14 November via Fedex. I received them early on Monday 17 November . Delighted !

I am amazed by how spectacular the service I received was. The scanning and print job I had was quite big, but the guys managed to pull through and print everything on time and helped me organise the files to an excellence. Our company works with many carriers—we purchase antiques at auctions and are heavily reliant on the quality of work from the people who pack very fragile antiques. We have been in this business for many years, but this is the first time we have encountered the level of professionalism demonstrated by Mail Boxes Etc Newcastle.

We specifically contacted them to find out the name of the person who performed this great work. His name is Chris. Any company would be truly proud to have such an employee.

I want to explain why we were so impressed. First, the porcelain was wrapped in tissue paper. Then, it was encased in bubble wrap. After that, it was wrapped in corrugated cardboard. And this cocoon was then wrapped in bubble wrap again! But that's not all. All the packed items were very tightly placed into an inner box. This inner box was then placed into a larger box and padded with packing peanuts!

Everything was done so well, it was as if Chris was helping to move his beloved grandmother's possessions! If you add to this the fact that the price for this work was absolutely reasonable and acceptable, you will understand that we will be returning to them again and again.

George was extremely helpful, explained what he thought best to ship a fragile and valuable parcel which I agreed with. Would come back again!
