M&S Fish Pie for One, £7.
The packaging claims this product is ‘packed’ with cod, king prawns, salmon, smoked haddock and scallops, topped with mashed potato. Unfortunately, the reality was very different.
In the portion I bought, I counted four prawns, one tiny piece of salmon, no visible cod, no smoked haddock and no scallops. What I did get was a large amount of bland, under-seasoned mashed potato.
This is disappointing, especially at £7 for a single-serving meal. The product bears little resemblance to the description on the pack, and the word ‘packed’ is misleading to say the least.
A more accurate description would be: "Unseasoned Mashed Potato with Traces of Fish.”
Obtaining money by deception
I used the online service and bought 16 items. 1 day after purchase confirmation, m & s cancelled my order. NO advisory or reason that it was to be cancelled, just cancelled. There own terms state that I have the option to cancel the transaction myself, within 30 mins of the order being placed, which I didn't. This is clearly their error
They did of course keep the payment.

I paid for an order that was advertised with next-day delivery. Two days later, I have only received one item. I was then informed that the remaining items may not arrive until Monday, which is too late for my needs. Although I received a partial refund, the delivery charge was not refunded despite the service not being provided as promised. I would like to complain about the new sparks card account. I had £5 to spend on my sparks account and bought 2 dresses on line in different sizes as I normally do. However when you return an item half of the money is taken back and not taken off the one that is purchased. I made a complaint on Monday regarding this and was told it would be passed through to complaints. Still have not heard from complaints department.

Marks & Spencers and the paper shopping bag scam they charge you 40p for the most pathetically useless paper shopping bag which if it gets just a slight bit wet will literally fall apart spilling your shopping all on the floor you can't even swap it for a new one the customer service has gone downhill lately which is a great shame not to mention the quality of the vegetables as well

My wife and I regularly shop in M&S and recently seen their “World Cup Sticker “ promotion, as we regularly spend over £20 weeks started collecting the stickers for our grandson’s. After we had collected a few packs we decided to purchase the album, however they were out of stock at our local store. So we tried a few other nearby stores without success. It now turns out that M&S have totally run out of albums, when I questioned the store staff they just quoted “while stock lasts”. Absolutely outrageous way to treat its customers, will be shopping at Waitrose from now on.

Went for a bra fitting in the White City London store and was served by the lovely Paula. She was amazing. She made me feel super comfortable and I came away feeling super confident about my choices. No pressure to purchase either. Thank you Paula for making my day.
M+S Food
M+S Food. I shop at the M+S Foodhall in Morningside, Edinburgh. Absolutely delicious fruit and food in 94-96% of cases. A great example is the new Greek Salad marinated Antipasti - delicious - with cubes of white feta cheese and pickled onions. Loved it. Which is why it surprised me that the new Spanish Style Patatas Bravas were so disappointing, there was so much very strong chilli in it I couldn't taste anything else. Where was the tomato and roasted garlic sauce? It sounded great but didn't work at all. Never mind, I will no doubt find other delicious dishes!
Utterly useless
I’ve been trying to order for days but despite being forced to change password at least a dozen times I keep getting the message that my log in details are incorrect. My husband and daughter in law have also tried. We are not ALL getting it wrong! I used to love M&S but their current system is utterly frustrating. If the shops stocked the right sizes (I’m after underwear basics) instead of always being out of stock I could just walk in and buy. M&S customer service is now so poor it makes me want to cry! I really do hate your online ordering

Ordered some flowers for my daughter after her being in hospital. First lot died after a couple of days.Second lot delivered to wrong address. Wanted me to go and look for them which was impossible as I don't live there.25 pounds is not cheap. I will not be buying from them again.
Just visited M&S in Camberly
Just visited M&S in Camberly, haven’t been for a while as last experience wasn’t good. As usual cafe had large queue . The ordering is like McDonalds with those hideous screens. I noticed 3 weren’t been used & when I asked member of staff why she said they were only using 4 as too busy. This was early in the day on a Wednesday. Heaven knows what happens at weekends! Also clothes area wasn’t easy to navigate & looked a mess. A lot of other customers were saying the same, nothing was coordinated and as usual wrong sizes on wrong hangers. When you go online everything looks nice but try & find it in store is impossible. I am a fan of M&S but lately been very disappointed when I visit one of their big stores. Sizing all over the place & it seems no one in head office is reading the reviews on sizing because if they were this wouldn’t keep happening!!
Croissants with a fly garnish anyone?
We visited the M&S Sevenoaks store cafe mid morning for a croissant and drink. All the cakes including the croissants and cinnamon swirls were on a table. They were covered with transparent lids with the exception of the croissants and cinnamon swirls. There was a large fly moving between and landing on the uncovered items. We mentioned it to the staff who advised us that they were not permitted to cover the croissants or swirls because of condensation. They explained that they had raised the issue with management who had concluded that condensation was worse than flies.
Needless to say we didn't choose to eat the croissants.
If the management have taken the decision that flies on food are acceptable then something is seriously wrong at the Sevenoaks store. Removable food covers that allow for air flow but prevent flies from entering are available. I expect to see implementation of suitable fly prevention measures next time i visit.
Warning if purchasing from M&S overseas
Purchased pair of active shorts at M&S in Gibraltar. WARNING - if you are one of the many, many people who visit Gibraltar for a short break, don't purchase clothes in M&S unless you are going to waste part of the short time that you are there trying them on. Brought them home after the holiday only to find that that they have no pockets, so pretty useless as far as active shorts go. Took them to M&S in Newport only to find that you can't return them, even though I paid in GBP in Gibraltar. Annoying that same shorts were in the Newport M&S. Lesson learned and I won't bother with M&S overseas again.

We visited the M&S store in Anlaby. We.did the shopping then went to the coffee station. The women or men on the bakery part do the coffees but my concerns if they are handling bread etc then touch the cups for the coffees such as myself who has Celiac disease could be very poorly . Think this needs attention to make sure hands are washed before they serve the coffee plus other people with various allergies could've them very ill.

Ordered a pink bra . I opened bag in shop only to see a bright orange pair of shorts . Did get a refund but had to order bra again as not in stock . Assistant was quite rude and made me feel as though it was my fault . Not had second order yet so hopefully it will be okay . My sister & i popped into our local Taunton Somerset store yesterday , we noticed a man dressed in a suit helping out in the cafe , pushing in chairs ,clearing & tidying tables . Then noticed him again meeting , greeting & assisting customers . When talking to a staff member at the till it turns out he was the Store manager and all the staff spoke very highly off Graig (Store manager ) . It was nice and rare seeing a store manager out on the shop floor doing what he was doing rather than hiding away in his office . Craig we just wanted you to know , that it was lovely to meet you , and keep up the good work your staff really appreciate and respect you as rgeir store manager . M&S your manager has restored my faith in outstanding customer service .
