Appalling service , avoid at all costs

Absolutely appalling customer service, with total lack of communication - to the extent they have ignored over a dozen emails over a 6 month period requesting updates. My partner was involved in a very bad car accident in December 2024, not at fault (another car hit him at 50mph and sent him into oncoming traffic, involving a third car). Car was an instant right off, and a month required off work. 14 months later, he is still on light duties at work impacting his ability to perform his job, and continuing to visit the GP with shoulder issues (he has a manual job in a garage). He still can’t attend the gym!

We were last contacted in July 2025 with an update (which contained conflicting information). Since then, via both their portal and standard email, we have sent over a dozen emails requesting updates. Absolutely no reply!! My partner is urgently seeking his costs to be reimbursed. To be ignored for over 6 months is terrible. When this accident wasn’t even my partners fault, it feels very unjust to be left in the lurch having to chase the basics like an update, let alone a reimbursement of costs. Avoid!!!

When Your Child’s Case Truly Matters


We are incredibly grateful to Sana and the entire team for the outstanding care and dedication they showed while handling my son’s very complicated medical case. Sana took the time to truly listen, understood the complex medical and legal details involved, and approached the case with clear logic, compassion, and professionalism.

She made every possible effort to help us, never treating the case as routine, and consistently demonstrated genuine concern for my son and our family. Communication was clear, thoughtful, and reassuring throughout a very stressful process.

monika my guiding star

hi, my case handler was monika, i was rather nervous from the start of my claim as i have absolutely no computer skills and have no wifi in my house.
Not understanding a thing regarding legal disputes i totally relied on monika to guide me through each stage of my claim, and she often took the trouble to explain in more detail if i was not understanding properly, monika listened carefully to all of my questions and explained to me in simple easy to understand terms what my main chances were of securing a satisfactory outcome regarding my legal claim, basically monika held my hand and guided me through the whole process from start to finish, kindest regards and thanks to monika

Left us in the lurch

Left us in the lurch! Lyons were contacted on the 9th of December to assist us in a legal matter for our court case on the 19th of January 2026. Told us 1 working day before that they wouldn't represent us and left us to represent ourselves subsequently we lost the court case due to not being legally trained. As you can imagine we are massively out of pocket and this could have been dealt with properly and we could potentially have won the case if we had had proper representation. So far their only comment is to offer us £50 compensation which is verging on insulting due to their negligence

Professional and emphatic throughout a difficult process …

Having been involved in a serious car accident I was advised to seek support and guidance by my insurance company through Lyon’s Davidson Solicitors. Throughout the whole experience I have been made to feel at the centre of the process This has helped me to overcome my anxieties associated with having to relive the incident. My contact Christopher Kemp throughout was responsive, efficient and understanding .Timelines were set out simply and clearly with my options explained carefully. Overall I was able to course a journey which ultimately concluded what for me has been a very stressful and unpleasant experience with an acceptable closure which has helped me immensely Overall as someone sceptical of the process at the beginning I have been pleasantly surprised how supportive and efficient it was, although it did take a long time to reach its conclusion . Thank you to all at the company but in particular Christopher Kemp for his diligence , patience and efficiency

Outstanding Para Legal Agent Elizabeth Ward low from Lyons Davidson

The Para Legal Agent Elizabeth Wardlow for Lyons Davidson was excellent from the moment she took over my case. She explained matters to me in an easily understandable way and took care of everything in my case of damages following a road traffic collision. The other side's defendants law firm, having admitting full liability then proceeded to drag the case out up to two days before a Court Hearing. Elizabeth was having none of it and secured their agreement to settle my claim in full.

Kerry Smitheram - outstanding solicitor, thorough, clear communication and excellent outcome

I can’t recommend Kerry Smitheram at LYONS DAVIDSON highly enough. Kerry was extremely thorough and considerate throughout my accident compensation claim, and she always made sure I understood my options so I could make an informed decision.

Communication was excellent — clear, well structured, and grounded. Kerry kept me updated, replied promptly, explained legal terminology and next steps in plain language, and followed up proactively with all relevant parties. Communication is key, and this made a huge difference when you receive it consistently.

Negotiations can be stressful, especially for someone like me who isn’t comfortable with that process, but Kerry had a realistic and strategic approach and I felt she genuinely worked in my best interest. The final outcome was more than expected, and I want to thank Kerry for her knowledge and professionalism in making this happen. Thank you, Kerry!

It is also worth mentioning that my case involved a handover (my previous solicitor left the firm), and Kerry took over seamlessly. She read the full history and arranged a very thorough 1.5 hour call to confirm the details, understand what was important to me, explain the options, agree next steps, and then followed through on everything.

The process overall does take time (as these cases do), but I felt supported throughout. Before switching to LYONS DAVIDSON, I had made the mistake of signing with another firm (NAL), and the difference in service was huge. Because of Kerry, LYONS DAVIDSON will be my first choice in the future. Highly recommended.

Outstanding Service

I have no idea where to start, my case handler Sophie Miller has been nothing short but outstanding for the entire duration of my claim. She has constantly kept me updated, there was never a point where I felt in the dark, she was open and honest about the whole claim process and where in her professional opinion where she thought the claim was going to go. If I ever had any questions, I could email Sophie and she would reply to me usually within either the same day or at max a few days later. She always picked up her phone if I ever called and always made time to speak to me about me questions regardless of the fact she was likey very busy. She has worked tirelessly on my specific claim, arranging medical assessments, and liaising with third party companies for evidence, once she received the evidence she requested she always would phone me or send me a copy of documents so I knew where the case was progressing and what she had. My case went on for just short of two years, the fees that have been charged by Sophie for her time are extremely fair, and the sum of money that she had obtained for my successful claim is going to be a massive help to me. Words fail me for how thankful I am to Sophie and her colleague Oliver who have acted for me on this claim, and I would highly recommend her and this company to anybody who is looking to go through this process. To Sophie, I thank you and you are an absolute credit to your company.

Worst of the worst

Worst of the worst. Lazy lying scumbags. Never did any work on case unless repeatedly chased. Hirers "specialists" who discriminate against those with autism. Treat you as a criminal when your the innocent victim and have provide the case for them. Never answer their phones even to other solicitors. Will try to time out your case if you raise complaints, including by refusing to hand it over to new solicitors even after 3 month of dropping the case. Should be prosecuted and barred from ever working again for the horrors they inflict on their customers. Also actively conspires with Admiral Law as "sister" companies, while claiming to you their not connected. Never use them EVER.

Dragged our case out for so long ( best…

Lyons Davidson dragged our case out for so long (best part of three years), it gave the company we were suing time to go into administration, something I had warned them would happen a long time ago. We have been left destitute and broken, while these sloths shuffle off having made a tidy sum from our insurance providers. Think twice before you claim! Our insurance premiums have doubled since this claim was filed back in 2023. If only they could have dealt with my case as fast as they replied to my review!

From very first time I spoke to Jade

From very first time I spoke to Jade, she was very friendly, polite and most helpful & sincere.
Jade always kept me informed on outcome of my claim, nothing was every issues when I contact her, she got back to me straight away, she got me the best outcome for my claim, I would recommend Jade, to everybody, I didn't have to do nothing Jade done all for me,
