AVOID

AVOID, AVOID. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS!
Having dealt with the company before and having received good service, I decided to order a helmet with them. The order was accepted and shipped. However, the shipment was held at the customs office until the import duty was paid. Louis Motorrad emailed me saying that I should send them the invoice and they would pay the import duty. So I sent the invoice and their response was that they were not going to pay the fee required. I raised the issue with one of the directors, who just fobbed me off with some pathetic excuse that their credit was no longer accepted. When placing the order I was not made aware of any potential importance duties. Stay clear from them unless you have money to waste. Being of German origin myself it makes me ashamed to be associated with those liars.

Stolen 400 euros!! fraud, lack of help

This company just stolen money from me!!! I transferred money for my exhaust and they claimed that they can't see the order, but my money left the account!!! I send them the receipt from my visa card and they said they would refund the money but the WHOLE finance department is apparently ill and I need to wait another week it has been going for ages now, what a fraud!!!!! I will go to other social media if you don't pay me back!!!! scammers!@!!!!! 400Euros stolen!!!!

Recommended, I would buy again.

Ordered and paid for a pair of Alpinestars Supertech R boots. Took around 5 days to dispatch which was a bit long to wait imo, was kept updated with progress and from being handed over to DHL on the 3rd or March, the package arrived at my address on the 14th March. I paid import duties on the 12th and was refunded on the 24th March. Can't fault communication as every email was answered. Can thoroughly recommend shopping here and really like the good prices.
Some reviewers who give low stars yet complicate the process with their order changes have to manage their expectations better in my opinion.

Terrible, Terrible Service

The products I actually received were okay, but the whole experience was ruined by some of the worst customer service I've experienced

Item ordered in October as part of a larger order. Asked them to replace the item with another of a lesser value.

That for some reason isn't possible. My only option is to refund that part of the order and order the item again. With another 8.99 delivery fee.

Customer service wasnt even interested in understanding the request. Never mind offering a solution. Genuinely infuriating to deal with.

Won't be using them again.

Very happy customer

Really happy with my order and experience with Louis Moto.

I placed my order on 19.02.23, my parcel arrived on 03.03.23 and today (16.03.23) I got my customs refund as it stated on their website. Item was exactly as described and the price was very good. Thanks

Very poor service

Ordered a cardo packtalk when the unit arrived it had marks on it and was missing velcro pads, unit was clearly used before, would not recommend this company and i wouldn't buy from them again

Selling not existing items

Selling not existing items, we will see how they del with refund- as money costs these days and I do not want to to keep money at their account. 0 stars so far.
Additionally I recomend for all sue this company at the European Consumer Centre immediately if you already been fraud from Louis.de, Louis.at
Otherwise- do not try your luck there at all.

Louis.de is practising illegal…

Louis.de is practising illegal "Unjustified Geo-blocking", whis is discrimination between EU customers to segment markets along national borders.

It means that Louis will not allow you to order in Germany, if they have a webshop in your country of residence.

This may be reported to the European Commission.

Recommended

Just purchased a two piece alpinestars kit from louismoto. Very impressed with the whole process. Arrived in a week to the UK, emailed when it was dispatched and had a hassle free transaction. Would use again and recommend.

No delivery, no refund!

Like many of the reviews here, I ordered products 6 weeks ago and I’m still waiting. In fairness when I email I get a response but they keep saying “we will investigate” then another week passes and nothing happens. I have asked for a refund twice but they refuse saying the goods will be with me soon. I’m going to start a legal small claims.

If you see what you want and it’s a little more expensive somewhere else I’d spend the extra with a reputable company if I were you!

Slow to refund promised Customs charge

Ordered a motorcycle seat which arrived in good time. When I placed the order they promised to pay the VAT and Customs charges (I would not have ordered otherwise) but a month passed with not even an acknowledgment from their financial department (despite several reminders from me). Finally, after placing this (now edited) review, my refund arrived. Thanks Trustpilot :)

Ordered a helmet, the visor was broken. Several emails sendt, no reply, no updates, no refund or a new visor sendt. Poor customer service.

Ordered a Schuberth helmet which was a lot cheaper than in the UK and had my reservations. It arrived after I had to pay customs/VAT charges. But true to their word, they refunded these costs when I provided proof of my payment. Would definitely order from here again.

Trustworthy and customer oriented

Ordered equipment, they did partial delivery as one item was out of stock.
I immediately got informed and not charged for the item.
They reply on the same day to emails and were very helpful in finding alternatives for the missing article.
Trustworthy!
