Generally ok, but...
I'm Louis customer since over 10 years and I bought there many, many items as: small and big tools, helmets, clothes etc.
In "+"
*Quality of products is very high and many times they have cheaper offer then the other ones.
*Never had any issues with customer care and free returns. Easy procedures.
*I don't know any other shop which offers return up to 2 years - it works, I checked it myself.
*They sell items which are in stock, otherwise there is info when will be available.
In "-"
Must be careful in case of order any liquids, especially bigger sizes. Unfortunately I received 2 parcels during C-19 time, which were totally damaged due to improperly packed/not secured liquids. That's why I gave 1 star less.
Luckily, I refused that and got money back.
They have to work on better packing system:-)
So, generally strongly recommend.
Bad customer service
Bad customer service. Had to contact 4 times.
First time was promised a call back, did not happen.
Second time i had a rude agent on the phone that told me to call back monday.
Third time i got rude service without solution.
Fourth time i sent an email on which i got a very strange response.
Besides the bad customer service be aware that if you live in a country where shipping costs are included then to exchange an item for a different size they will again charge shipping costs and to re-order the same item in a different size you will again have to pay sending costs. XLmoto.eu that is also based in Germany has free shipping above 100 Eur order.
The products that were delivered were of good quality, unfortunately the wrong size. I ordered some Boots with size 43, my normal size is 42, they were still to small. They could mention on the website if an item size is not accurate or falls small so to say.
FIRST TIME WAS BAD, 2ND TIME EVEN WORSE…
This is stupidly the 2nd time I have ordered from them. Their very expensive "dhl" courier service is a sham. I order a lot from Canada,Europe, chromburner, mosko, off the road etc and their items are very well tracked, updated and delivered to Australia within a week or so. I have been waiting for nearly a month now and I have been told the item is still in Frankfurt since May 4th. I wish I had learned from my last order and read the latest reviews. Terribly unprofessional service and they charge$$ like a wounded bull. I will be contacting PayPal to get involved and will never recommend or purchase from them again. I can recommend mosko moto, off the road, chromeburner and camel adv - they are highly organised, excellent customer service and their couriers/delivery service is/are brilliant.

Paying quite a lot for a DHL Courier…..it transpires it was sent DHL / Snail service after 2 weeks I’m still waiting fir my parcel to arrive.
Surely Louis.de want repeat customers so why not use a proper quick courier.
So my advice until they can sort out quicker delivery is to avoid buying from Louis.de

Parcel not arrived
Parcel not arrived, tracking is lie, phoned for help got bad info had to call back, greeted by same woman with "what" got a new tracking number and "call back if any problems ", there was so called back, phone answered with silence this time how rude is that, asked her to chase up my parcel " i can't do that" she replied" oh other companies have done that for me" i replied, she stated the woman for that was on at 12 , i asked for her name and guess what her story changed she would email her.

Wrong spark plugs have been sent and they are asking stupid questions on my emails how did that happen and why and what's my original Yamaha tracer 9 GT spark plugs etc.

They don’t have the products in stock as they claim in the site. Ordered 2 same helmets different sizes and sent only the one without telling me that the other isn’t in stock. After few hours I placed my ordered asked to change the size of a pair of gloves and said can’t be done!!!

Delivery time is way too long
Delivery time is way too long. I ordered on Monday and now 5 days later the package is still in Germany. That is unacceptable for a webshop.

Ordered twice from this company and have always received a prompt service for half the price than here in the UK, however my second order involved a noco genius 10 battery charger the website uses a .co.uk web address so I didn’t have any hesitation in ordering this product, however when the product arrived it had a euro plug and I can’t change it, the fact of the matter is it didn’t state this on their website, if it did I wouldn’t of ordered the product, so for the sake of a few quid I purchased a eu to uk adaptor instead of the hassle of returning the product. So the moral of the story is even though they have a UK web address they’re actually based in Germany and so their products especially electric ones will probably come with an EU plug.
Top Service
Ordered a Visor on tuesday for a Shoei NXR 2 which is currently unavailable in the UK. Kept me up to date with delivery etc and Visor arrived today (Fri) all charges paid and visor was competitively priced. 5* service and highly recommended.

Second order, top notch service
Second order, even better service than last time. First order was a helmet which arrived in the UK, halted by the bandits purporting to be HM customs, paid the ransom and was refunded by Louis within 3 days. Second order was for luggage, again intercepted by Dick Turpin on the border. Paid this ransom and contacted Louis this morning. Refunded this afternoon! Incredible. Will definitely be purchasing through Louis again - not only is it cheaper than the same exact product in the UK by quite some way, but their service is second to none.

Contacted the company via the email address given to me in case this should occur at 4.30pm, received a reply that I would be refunded this at 6.30pm and received the refund the following morning.
