DO NOT BUY FROM THE UK

DO NOT BUY FROM THE UK! Utter scammers.

They promise to refund your customs fees but they won’t, what they WILL do is keep fobbing you off and ignoring you. It’s been a month since I sent over the customs documents and they’re doing nothing, so a stove that should have been a reasonable cost and was bought as a gift has cost me an extra £50, which is £50 that I didn’t have to spare.

Appalling customer service and they should be ashamed.

Ripping off UK customers

Trying to get a refund after purchasing from UK and also being stung with import duty, they have not responded, their Facebook is not in use and no other means of contact. Thieves taking advantage of Brexit

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. I ordered a pair of trousers and hip protectors. The trousers were out of stock but they sent hip protectors anyway, which I had to return. The returns service doesn’t work and they don’t refund. I assume they hope you will give up. Had to contact bank to get refund. Very disappointing.

Amazing experience

Amazing experience, compared to other internet shops! The helmet came double boxed, and shipped to Latvia in 4 days! Absolutely happy.

What an excellent experience

What an excellent experience. A German supplier that delivers a Caberg Duke 2, all duty paid within a week to the UK at an amazing price. Would definitely buy from them again (if confident with the sizing of the helmet). Great helmet, fantastic supplier.

Poor customer support after Louis sent the wrong parts.
On the Louis web page you can enter the details of your motorcycle. I entered my bike (2017 BMW R 1200 GS), and ordered a pair of Puig Enduro Foot pegs. The Puig foot pegs comes with an adapter set for your bike. On the original order confirmation it just says “Puig Enduro foot pegs”. When they arrived I tried to install them, but they didn’t match. Then I noticed on the invoice (that I received 3 days after placing the order), it stated that the adapter set was for a Yamaha 700 Tenere?! When contacting customer support, asking them to send the correct adapter set, I was being told that I had ordered the wrong parts (which I don’t agree with as I had entered my BMW GS). So I guess my only option now is to try and return the whole package and try ordering again hoping that Louis will get my order right the second time? I don’t understand why we couldn’t have worked it out over the phone (or mail which I also tried), and Louis could have sent me the right adapter set, and I only returned the wrong one.

Fast shipping, great customer support

Ordered a Scorpion helmet, shipping was very dast and only took 4 days to Croatia, but it came without the cover for the intercom slot. Thankfully the customer support is great and they sent the missing part for free right away. A very positive experience.

I buy something was broken

I buy something was broken , i send that to them...the package its lost ... now I wait 2 months to my money back almost 300 euro... they never pick up the Phone!!!!dont buy enything!!!

Delayed and then cancelled order. Shambles...

Ordered some luggage for KTM Super Adventure. Noted as 7-14 days delivery. No updates. After 10 days chased, advised 'Item delayed, due that week would be shipped the following day'. No further updates. After 28 days received an email cancelling the order as item to large to ship. Utter shambles. Touring trip severely hampered with no time to get a replacement.

Excellent buying experience

Brilliant company to deal with. Prices are extremely competitive, ordering is easy, communication is fantastic and delivery is very fast. Item purchased was top quality. Packaging was very good and tracking updates were spot on. My 2nd order is on its way and it certainly won't be the last. Highly recommended on all counts.

Import taxes 😞

I live in the UK and I Bought some motorbike boots from this company but when purchasing it wasn't made clear or wasn't obvious that once the boots were in the UK that I had to pay customs tax but after some emails and sending them proof I was able to get a refund on the customs tax. The prices for this company were good just bare in mind the potential customs tax when purchasing. 👍🏻

I ordered and haven't receive my order. Called the contact center, no one is replying. They show in their website service till 22pm but the phone says 18pm. Rude service and unprofessional. I am still trying to get my money back

Ordered an AlpineStars hoodie as I…

Ordered an AlpineStars hoodie as I couldn’t get the size and colour I wanted in the UK. I was a bit sceptical about the promise of duty and VAT being refunded but I decided to take the risk as I really wanted the hoodie. After a week I got an invoice for the customs charges which I paid, the clothing arrived the next day, well packaged and in perfect condition. I emailed Louis about the charges and had a response in a couple of days, I sent a picture of the invoice and the delivered box with duty paid sticker on and had a full refund in 3-4 days. Not quite as straightforward as ordering in the UK but the service from Louis was actually very good, I would happily use them again.

Received opened used items instead of new.

I purchased two new high-end mirrors for a motorcycle, and received items that had obviously been opened and returned.

Both items had different protective covers removed and both were damaged.

I have contacted Louis Motorad and expect to have return shipping paid or receive a full refund, used items cannot be sold as new.

BEWARE I ordered a Schuberth helmet C3…

BEWARE I ordered a Schuberth helmet C3 which is still in Post Office waiting payments of VAT and extra fees, after reading another Trustpilot review that’s where it’ll stay and be returned to Louis Motorrad as the previous reviewer didn’t get his money back from them even though they told him to pay and he’d get a refund. I called the Post office who advised me it was the customs and excise that correctly added the VAT and fees, I’ve tried to talk to Louis-Motorrad but they don’t pick up left my number for a call back still waiting, I will not use them again as something is obviously fishy with this company.

Disappointed beyond belief.

Disappointed beyond belief.
Took 20 days to arrive, not to my house, but to a local post office. Had to pay £81 import tax to get the boots!
Never ever again.
Communication was non existent.
Customer care lacking beyond belief.
Not happy.
AVOID AVOID!!

Puig downforce spoilers for zh2

Ordered Puig downforce spoilers for my zh2. When I ordered I was a little apprehensive that they would arrive.
I was given a tracking number and that was updated daily.
Customs did hold the package as they wanted an additional £41import tax. I paid the tax and they arrived the next day. I contacted Louis and they refunded the £41 within 2 days.
Great company and highly recommended as the parts were cheaper to get than from the Uk.
