Expensive item delivered smashed to pieces. Contact forms on Lego website not working. Really poor customer service given price charged
Great place and great sets but the prices of just small items are quite expensive. Although if you see one I would recommend checking out what they have available
I do not recommend buying gifts for children here, otherwise you risk leaving them without gifts. Even what they send you as an apology for the long delivery of your order may not reach you.
This is the worst place I have ever ordered gifts from. I ordered for the first Advent. For a few days after the order, there was silence. I started to worry and wrote a letter. They said don't worry, you will receive everything on time, we will send your order today. Of course, no one sent anything, neither tomorrow nor the day after tomorrow. I wrote to support again. They replied that they were sorry for the many orders, but I will receive additional bonus gifts due to the delay of my order.
Of course, my order arrived after the first advent, but I'm still waiting for the bonus gifts. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR NERVES AND SEE THE HAPPY SMILES OF CHILDREN - NEVER BUY GIFTS ON THIS SITE!!!!
The Lego store at Birmingham discovery centre is uncaring and unprofessional. Having purchased a £30 advent Lego set I complained it was missing pieces and my son had lost interest. Instead of giving me a refund they asked me to come in which was ridiculous given I live an hour away. Rubbish customer service.
Currently on my 3rd set now, now bear in mind I'm 52 and only started building 2 years ago.
I'm a big 80s fan so for obvious reasons the ecto 1 & the Delorean was a must, so now I've gone for my biggest and most expensive yet?
The Home alone house, so my grievance is every set I have purchased I've had missing bricks, now this will be my last ever Lego set as I am not happy with the company?
You would think the level of customer care considering how much we spend there would be a lot more emphatic than just saying we will send you out the missing parts, when your spending hundreds of pounds on sets missing bricks is the last thing you want.
Now every bag since bag 5 I've had to order replacements now delivery is also 9-15 days also not on, 4 times this week alone I've called them and moaned about the situation and there was only one out of the 4 that was really helpful and nice even offered to send a smaller set out so I can continue building whilst awaiting the parts.
I just feel Lego is a multi million pounds business worldwide too and you would think the level of care going into sets would be second to none considering the prices of them.
They say it is rare to have sets with missing parts but it does happen, not 3 times on the trot surely?
Nearly £900 worth of sets and every one faulty.
Oh then the final slap in the face is the send out of a $20.00 eCard lol what that will really cause a dent in the already overpriced sets.
I'm done with them disgusting if you ask me.
New hobbies are waiting and it certainly isn't Lego building I will leave that to the folk it was intended for!!!
I had the best experience in the Lego Store Bullring Birmingham from my hesitant approach at the front of store when I asked about the mini figurines to the final product. All the staff were so accommodating, friendly and so very very helpful. Answered all my queries and went out of their way above and beyond to help me make my personalised mini me figure. I have never experienced such outstanding customer service in such a long time. You made me have a greater appreciation for Lego but more importantly exceptional customer service. Forgive me if I get the names wrong but special mention to Hassan (who helped me at the start) and Aman (who helped me at the end) but, again to the other staff members who jumped in with their friendly suggestions and help (I’m sorry I didn’t get your names). Thank you from a very humble NHS employee. I love Lego! Keep up the amazing customer service.
I love Lego even if I scratch myself often, can't find a specific piece, mess up while building, etc. You probably get my point. One set in particular that I really really really love is the Lego Technic Bugatti Chiron set which has 3,599 pieces and is for ages 16+. This set is quite expensive ranging from $350 to $500. This price might go higher up because of inflation but even then, it is worth the hefty price. One attribute is the really nice body of the whole car. It looks detailed and has many realistic functions that the real Chiron has. For example, there is an 8-speed gearbox with Lego gears all around, a W-16 Engine from only Bugatti, a top-speed key that can make the wing/spoiler go up, and the rest is to see for the complete brick masterpiece. This set is perfect for kids, young adults, and adults all alike who are fans of Lego and Bugatti.
Preorder and have to wait longer than in the shops...
No more ordering from lego shop
Very disapointing
Duplo block broke apart in small pieces, while my 8 month son played with it. This is really dangerous!
Is it a defect or is it the quality to expect from Duplo to day?
I bought a box of Lego Star Wars and found out a piece was missing. Sadly, I didn't have that piece as a spare (it was quite special), so I went to the Lego website, where I found a form where you could write down if you were missing a piece.
I did this on Friday evening and got the missing piece in my mailbox yesterday! Without cost :D
Now, THAT's service!
