We have a box with a deposit mark and the delivery person doesn't put the package in there they just leave it in sight for anybody walking past. That is not good enough

Paid for home delivery, ended up carrying a 6 kg parcel myself in pain
I paid extra for GLS home delivery specifically because medical restrictions prevent me from carrying heavy objects.
The driver photographed my parcel outside my door at 10:05 and marked the delivery as unsuccessful, claiming nobody answered. However, I and other household members were home, and nobody heard a knock or doorbell.
GLS redirected my 6 kg parcel to a ParcelShop almost 1 km away and refused to redeliver it, even after the seller intervened.
I was forced to collect and carry a large, awkward box without handles for nearly 1 km, stopping every 50 metres because of the pain.
Despite my formal complaint, GLS refused to help and simply declared the case closed.
**I paid for home delivery, received no home delivery, and suffered physical pain as a result. Extremely disappointing service and complaint handling.**
