Excellent advice and very efficient

An excellent service from this shop. As cyclists themselves, the owners are very knowledgeable and always carefully explain things to ensure the right products are purchased. Their customer services is very valuable. They carefully explained which tyres I needed which prevented me from purchasing the wrong type of product. A fantastic service and I would recommend to anyone to go there before considering anywhere else, beginners and experienced cyclists alike.

Excellent and professional customer service , good price

Very poor service ordered a Iki baby seat, a week with no update so I decided to message on Google. They did reply about my enquiry but clearly forgot so I then had to message again. They did get back to say the product was nonin stock and issued a refund. When highlighted the service was poor got a okay. Was referred to the companies from BoB but defo won't be using them again.

I bought a Krypto Combo Unlock from Ladypool cycles online. The default code did not open the lock so I got in touch with Ladypool cycles who offered to help over video call. The guy could not work it out so he said he would contact the supplier and get back to me. I waited but he did not get back to me and has ignored multiple emails and Whatsapps leaving me with a useless lock and him with my money

I used Ladypool Cycles for the first time last week to have a tyre replaced on a child's bike. This was done quickly and at a competitive price. In addition, realising I didn't know much about bike maintenance (yet!), the helpful gentleman serving me also gave the bike a good 'once over' and offered some useful advice. I would not hesitate to return. A great independent shop.

Unfortunately my experience at Ladypool cycles was not a good one. I went to the shop to pick up some bearings for my mountain bike headset.
When I walked into the store the assistant was already in conversation on the phone and there was one more customer inside the shop. When the call finished the assistant walked past me and started dealing with the customer that was already there, I have no problem with that at all BUT, I was stood there for a total of nine minutes which is an awful long time without acknowledgment of my presence. Yes, I could've interrupted the conversation they were having but I thought it more polite to wait. I'm a big guy and was in line-of-sight and the assistant wouldn't have not been aware of me being there.
He could've said " I'll be with you shortly" or something similar, I would've been happy with that, but nothing. Eventually I walked out of the shop. The shop assistant couldn't have been unaware of me being there so I can only thing I can conclude is that he didn't care I was waiting for so long without acknowledgement. Where was the customer service I keep reading about regarding this store? Because it was certainly absent in my case. The sad thing is, that I live less than a five minutes walk from the shop. I ended up driving to BikePro in Kings Heath where the customer service was impeccable. Friendly, courteous and helpful. I am not an overly sensitive person or one that likes to complain, but I really felt I had to convey to others what happened to me. Chances are I won't be going there again even though I pass it every day. Hopefully no-one else will have my experience.

Laydypool cycles is one of the few cycle shops I haven't had a problem with. They've done good work on my bike, a Cannondale trek 7, repairing a broken hydraulic line for a reasonable cost without it taking forever. They are professional and helpful, and as importantly careful about social distancing. Can't recommend them highly enough.

My bike needed a new right shifter for a bike with Shimano 105 gears and Ladypool Cycles sourced this quickly and fitted it expertly. They discussed options with me and were knowledgeable and helpful at all times. They also fixed another bike of mine that needed attention to the right derailleur. Top people and top shop. Highly recommended.
