This review is about the Cambridge branch.
This company was cheaper than our original quotes but we now realize it’s because they keep cost down by doing the bare minimum. So you can buy beautiful quartz - but that’s about all you will get. The communication with the subcontractors is poor and the boss of the Cambridge branch doesn’t come to inspect the work. If you have a question during the process they just say ask the boss who of course isn’t there. The installation and templating were both messed up in our case. They moved both the oven and cabinets to the wrong place and templated the quartz in an offset between the backsplash. This has all resulted in an unprofessional finish. We paid in good faith assuming they would fix their mistakes and got only a halfhearted and begrudging effort to adjust the hood to make the mistakes less obvious. I’m really disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this company.

Following your comments, we have thoroughly reviewed the project details with Colin and the Cambridge team to ensure we have a clear picture of what transpired.
Our goal is always to deliver a high-standard finish, and our team undertook significant structural and layout corrections on-site that went well beyond the original scope of work. During the initial survey, we discovered that your existing kitchen island had been fitted incorrectly, which our team rectified free of charge so the quartz could be safely installed. During the fit itself, we also lowered wall units for better access and repositioned the standalone cooker so it aligned correctly beneath the extractor hood. This positioning was discussed and agreed with you at the time, and all of this extra corrective work was completed at no additional cost.
Regarding site management, our trained installation teams handle the day-to-day fitting, with franchise owners stepping in if issues are flagged. Colin visited the site upon completion to review the kitchen with you, and the only point raised was some minor making-good where the cabinets had been adjusted. While this was outside the contract, Colin completed it as a gesture of goodwill, after which the project was signed off and final payment was made. We also understand there was an issue regarding the sink tap, but as the sink was sourced independently without a necessary waste pack, this specific part was unfortunately outside of Colin's control.
We frequently carry out extra work behind the scenes to support a project, and we are genuinely sorry that the final result did not live up to your expectations despite these efforts. Ryan has been very accommodating, taking my preferences into consideration and fulfilling them. Joe is most pleasant and skilful in installing the cupboards to a high standard. He is also very neat and tidy and ensures everything is tidied up before he leaves. They are both a pleasure to work with. I will not hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

Rob turned up punctually and worked consistently throughout the two days needed for the makeover. The work was complicated by the fact that the kitchen and cupboards are old and irregular in shape and outline, but with skill and patience everything was tailored to a perfect fit, without fuss or delay. An excellent job, and fully recommended.

A beautiful new kitchen for a fraction of the price, and a great company
We heard about Kitchen Makeovers from a flyer placed in our mail slot, and we soon called for a free estimate. Greg Fisher gave us a reasonable price to reface our existing kitchen cabinets and replace our dated laminate worktop with quartz. We needed some time to work out what we wanted and also needed to change the layout for better flow. Greg came with great suggestions and a flexible nature. We ended up deciding on the beautiful sage green paint flow cabinet fronts and a white sparkly quartz counter. We also replaced most of our appliances and the sink and taps at the same time. Additionally, we added a clever breakfast bar and new storage cabinets at the previously underutilized other end of the kitchen, creating a cohesive and functional space. We are thrilled with our new kitchen, and everyone who sees it, loves it as much as we do. Greg and his team (particularly installer Richard) were great to work with, and he was generally on site on important days and also provided us with clear communication, and always checked in to make sure we were happy. We were especially impressed with how Greg handled an unplanned plumbing complication that would have left us without a functional kitchen over a bank holiday weekend...Greg called in a plumber in his network and had him come straight away to address the matter and get us up and running again. We highly recommend Greg Fisher and his entire team, and the Kitchen Makeover Company.

Fantastic Kitchen Makeover — Highly Recommended
We recently had our old kitchen refurbished by Kitchen Makeovers Peterborough, and the experience has been excellent from start to finish. They completed the entire project in just three and a half days and delivered a kitchen that looks completely new.
Faizan and Rob were both a pleasure to work with. Faizan visited four or five times before the work began to go through the design and ensure everything was planned properly. Rob, the fitter, worked with real skill and efficiency, and he kept the site clean and tidy at the end of each day.
We are very happy with the quality of their work and the professionalism they showed throughout. Highly recommended.

Honest, reliable, no drama, no fuss
From the first visit by Richard, to discuss what we wanted, we were impressed with the open and honest chat about what we could or couldn't achieve within our budget.
This was particularly refreshing as we'd just had a quote from another company who used scare tactics to try and push us into signing up straight away.
Dave, our kitchen fitter worked like a trooper every day, paying attention to detail and tidying up after himself every day. We're very happy with the end result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to get a kitchen looking like new, on a budget.

We underwent a partial kitchen makeover, as our units were still in good condition. New worktops,sink & taps, gas hob, & integrated fridge. Sales person Andy came out and explained the process, and we chose our replacements. We brought our own plug in electric oven & replacement handles to save on costs. Tony the fitter done a cracking job on the insulation. His workmanship was second to none. Would highly recommend Kitchen Makeovers (Stourbridge).
