I was gifted a Kent and Stowe galvanised steel watering can 2 years ago.
Despite being marketed as durable outdoor/garden-grade steel, it has rusted through on the inside and is now rusting on the outside too, after just 2 years of light, normal use. It’s been stored in the shed when not in use and only ever filled with tap water, so there’s no excuse for this level of corrosion. When I raised this with Kent and Stowe, their response was to offer 10% off a future purchase, hardly adequate given the product failed to last. For a “galvanised steel” item, marketed on its durability, this is poor quality and poor customer service.
I would not recommend this product or buy from this brand again.

We appreciate that you would expect a watering can to provide reliable service for longer than two years, and we understand your frustration after experiencing corrosion and leakage.
Following your contact with our customer service team, we reviewed the information and photographs provided and explained that, while galvanised steel is designed to help resist corrosion, it is not completely immune to rusting over time and under certain storage and usage conditions. As the watering can was over two years old, it was also outside the period covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
Although we were unable to offer a replacement in this instance, we did offer a goodwill discount towards a future purchase as a gesture of goodwill.
We are sorry that this outcome did not meet your expectations and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Customer comments are important to us and are used to help inform our ongoing product reviews.

Garden Fork Replacement
My garden fork was replaced FoC under guarantee, however when the fork arrived it was the wrong size. I emailed asking what was the best course of action to resolve this but unfortunately still outstanding a response

When the product finally arrived I was delighted with the quality. Just what I’d wanted. There was an issue with delivery which is not surprising as it was EVRI which I have found to be unreliable in the past. In contacting the company they were very helpful. If it had arrived on time it would have been 5 stars. It lost a star due to EVRI

As we are keen to understand where our products may not be meeting customers' needs, we would be interested to hear more about the task you were using the tool for and what you felt it was unable to achieve.
We understand you have previously spoken with our Customer Service Team regarding a return. If the tool remains unused and is in its original packaging, you are still within the returns period and may return it to us for a refund. As advised, we do not currently offer a collection service, so the return would need to be arranged directly with a courier of your choice. Once received and inspected, we would be happy to process the refund.
